Death had once again claimed Alysia, and she found herself awakened in a new, unfamiliar world

realizing that she had died for the Third time and was now in another novel A profound sense of déjà vu washed over her, knowing that this marked her third reincarnation. "Why do I keep meeting my demise???" she lamented with a heavy sigh, feeling like an unfortunate pawn in some cosmic game...this sucks she mumbled

As her consciousness settled into her new body, a sharp headache hit her like a bolt of lightning. Memories flooded her mind, memories that belonged to the young woman she had become - Athanasia. But there was more to her new identity; she possessed an ancient power, something that felt inexplicably tied to a novel she vaguely recalled. Dread crept up her spine as she considered the possibility of being trapped within the pages of a story once again."

Maybe I'm overthinking things," she whispered to herself, hoping for a change in fate this time.right???

Looking around, Athanasia noticed an enormous, peculiar-looking tree nearby. She furrowed her brow, contemplating its significance. Could this tree be the infamous "man-eating tree" from the novel she recalled? The prospect of being near such a dangerous entity gave her a chill.

Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted as she turned around and locked eyes with a strikingly handsome man with vibrant red hair and carrying a bag of bread on his back. It took her a moment to process what she had seen before recognizing him as Cale Henituse/Kim Rook So, the main character from the novel she remembered. "

Of all the places to end up, why must it be here!!??!, near the man-eating tree, and with the protagonist himself?" she grumbled inwardly, her luck seemingly never in her favor at all!...

Cale Point of View:

As I stood there, my eyes locked on the woman with light pink hair and pink eyes, I couldn't help but be intrigued. Such a unique appearance was a rarity, and it piqued my curiosity.

I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something mysterious about her, especially because she was near the man-eating tree, a place notorious for its dark rumors. Why was she here? Did she know about the ancient power rumored to be hidden within the tree? My mind raced with questions as I observed her from a distance.

Kim Rook So

!?!
We exchanged glances of shock and confusion as Athanasia, the pink-haired woman, made a revelation that caught us both off guard.

it took me by surprise. How did she know my name? Suspicion gnawed at me as I asked her how she knew my past name

Athanasia's Point of View:

I mentally panicked after blurting out the truth about my situation. What on earth had possessed me to reveal that!?? I had been transmigrated into this novel's world after dying in my own? And to add to the complexity, Cale was the protagonist of this novel. How could I explain this to him?

My mind raced, trying to figure out the best way to handle the situation. Should I just come clean and tell him everything, or should I hold back some information? Before I could decide, Cale confronted me, demanding to know how I knew his past name.

I hesitated for a moment before deciding to partially reveal the truth. I confessed that I had been transmigrated from another novel I had read, but I didn't disclose all the details.

After blurting out the truth about my transmigration, panic consumed me. I berated myself for revealing such sensitive information. Now I had to figure out how to explain everything to Cale. Was it wise to tell him about my death and rebirth in this world as a novel character? I couldn't fathom how he'd react. Taking a deep breath, I tried to calm myself and decided to go with a partial truth, leaving out the specifics of my death. I admitted that I had read the novel and somehow ended up in this world. Cale seemed to understand, but I couldn't help but feel guilty for not being completely honest.

Cale Point of View:

I couldn't help but feel a connection with Athanasia, considering the unusual situation we found ourselves in. I was intrigued by her knowledge of my past life as described in the novel "Trash of The Count Family." It was strange yet fascinating. As we continued our conversation, I decided to ask how much of the novel she had read. To my surprise, she had read all eight volumes but clarified that it was not the same "Birth of a Hero" that I knew. It was an entirely different novel.

My confusion grew, and Athanasia revealed the name of the novel, "Trash of The Count Family." She dropped the bombshell that I was the protagonist, leaving me stunned and speechless.

I touched my forehead, feeling overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events. "Me, a protagonist???" I mumbled incredulously..

I took a moment to process everything before asking for her name. Athanasia replied, and her name sounded beautiful yet unusual. Deciding to take her along to discuss more, I found myself trusting her, despite her earlier accidental slip-up. Athanasia agreed, faking a cry, and I couldn't help but chuckle at her antics.

Athanasia's Point of View:

Inwardly, I cursed myself for accidentally revealing Cale's name earlier. I feigned a fake cry as I followed him, hoping he wouldn't notice my slip-up.

As Cale start Feeding the man eating tree with bread

both Me and Cale heard a Voice

Cale Point Of View
Cale Though: There Always are noisy children wherever you go

I should Chase Them away before starting...

the two kids: You can't...

Athanasia's Point of View:

Athanasia Though:I couldn't help but notice two kids nearby with distinct hair colors - one with gray hair and the other with red hair. I recognized them from the novel; they were Hong and On, the cat tribe.

As i saw Cale start to stand up and gave some bread to hong and hon i slightly smiled..

After that Cale said something to hong and on..

After the kids heard that they started to go away...

(really? Cale??You're not trash in the future you will be a hero) athanasia start to laugh a little thinking about the future that cale holds well i guess he will not get his slacker life instead overwork himself...

After the kids are gone i heard a tsk sound coming from cale..

i just observed him giving the bread to the man eating tree..

Cale Point of View

After feeding the man-eating tree, I called over the woman who had been observing our interactions. Athanasia and I walked together, and I couldn't help but notice her keen observation of the kids from earlier. She seemed to know more about me and my actions than she was letting on.

Athanasia starts to stand up and follow beside me

As me and athanasia start to walk away from the man eating tree

i saw a familiar 2 kid eating in the corner eating the bread that i gave earlier

Geez...

i started to talk to them and said

After that me athanasia walk to the tea cafe

thanasia's heart pounded in her chest as she entered the cafe with Cale. The prying gazes of the people made her uncomfortable, but she brushed it off, focusing on the task at hand. Together, they climbed to the third floor and settled at a table. Billos, the cafe attendant, served them tea, but he couldn't seem to stop staring at Athanasia as if she were an oddity. Doubts crept into her mind, wondering if she was somehow different or unattractive. She couldn't fully see her own face yet, only knowing about her light pink hair and fair skin.

Meanwhile, Cale couldn't take his eyes off Athanasia. Her beauty with light pink hair and pink eyes left him mesmerized. He blushed slightly, feeling embarrassed about his thoughts.

Cale coughed, realizing he hadn't properly introduced himself. Despite knowing that Athanasia already knew who he was, he went on to introduce himself as Cale Henituse. Athanasia smiled back and introduced herself as Athanasia Levine.

Cale asked about her past life and whether she had any family in her previous world. Athanasia sadly revealed that the previous owner of her body had no known relatives, which left her feeling somewhat alone in this new reality.

Cale then made an unexpected offer,

asking if she wanted to work as his maid, providing her with financial support and a place to stay. Athanasia was grateful for the opportunity, and while a part of her felt uneasy, she accepted, acknowledging that she had no little choice at the moment.

As they delved deeper into their conversation, Cale asked about her dreams. Athanasia admitted to desiring a peaceful life, much like Cale's wish for a laid-back existence. The two shared a connection through their shared aspiration for tranquility.

Curiosity got the better of Cale as he wondered about the future and whether he would achieve his dream. Athanasia seemed hesitant to answer, struggling to vocalize a response as if something was preventing her from revealing certain information. Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her head, causing a nosebleed. Concerned, Cale offered her a napkin and comforted her.

It was then that Athanasia confessed to having an ancient power-the ability to heal injuries and wounds through singing. Cale was intrigued by this revelation, as he had been collecting ancient powers himself. However, he respected her privacy and understood when she couldn't disclose more information.

Their conversation veered towards their origins, and Athanasia revealed that she was from a different Earth, one without monsters. (She had reincarnated three times, making her past even more mysterious to Cale). Athanasia dint say that

Athanasia enjoyed the delicious tea and delved into reading some books. Unbeknownst to her, someone else in the cafe couldn't help but stare at her intently.

Cale, unable to resist, continued to admire Athanasia's beauty and smiled softly to himself.
