Third person's POV:

Imee stepped inside her mother's house, feeling utterly frustrated and disappointed by what had just happened. As she entered, she was greeted by her mother and her adorable nieces and nephews, Sandro and Simon.

"Tita!" they shouted cheerfully, their faces beaming with excitement. Imee couldn't help but smile back at them, momentarily forgetting about her troubles.

"Hi, kids," she replied warmly. "Where's Almira?" Imee was aware that Almira had chosen to stay with her grandmother and older cousins for the vacation. She had given permission for Almira to do so, but she couldn't deny that she missed her dearly.

"She's playing in the backyard," her mother, Imelda said affectionately. "She's been waiting for you."

Imee's heart skipped a beat at the mention of her daughter. She quickly made her way to the backyard, feeling a mix of anticipation and relief. As she stepped outside, she spotted Almira, her beautiful little girl, running around with a group of children, her laughter filling the air.

Imee's frustration and disappointment began to fade away, replaced by a deep sense of joy and contentment. Seeing her daughter happy and carefree, surrounded by loved ones, reminded Imee of what truly mattered in life.

She walked towards Almira, her step light and her heart full. Almira noticed her mother approaching and ran towards her, gleefully throwing her tiny arms around her.

"Mama, you're here!" Almira exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Imee embraced her tightly, whispering words of love and reassurance.

"Yes, my love, I'm here," Imee replied, her voice filled with love and longing. "I've missed you so much."

As they held each other, Imee couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of strength and determination. Despite the frustrations and disappointments that weighed her down earlier, she knew that she had a support system of family and loved ones who would always be there for her.

In that moment, surrounded by her mother, nieces, and nephews, enveloped in her daughter's warmth and love, Imee found solace and a newfound resilience. The challenges she faced would still be there, but knowing that she had a loving family to lean on gave her the strength to face them head-on.

Imee took a deep breath, embracing the present moment and cherishing the love and laughter that surrounded her. Whatever may come her way, she knew that she had a family that would always serve as her anchor, guiding her through the storms of life with love, support, and unwavering loyalty.

They were now gathered around the dinner table, enjoying a delicious meal, and everything seemed fine. However, the atmosphere changed when Imee's brother, Bongbong, broke the silence by asking a direct question.

"Ate, can you please tell me what really happened? Why did you suddenly call me to pick you up?" Bongbong asked, his curiosity evident in his voice.

Imee felt a knot in her stomach as she contemplated how to answer the question. She wanted to lie, to brush off the incident and spare herself the embarrassment and shame. But deep down, she knew she couldn't hide anything from her mother, Imelda. Imelda had a way of seeing through her, understanding her in ways that no one else could.

Imelda's gaze shifted towards Imee, her eyes filled with concern and wisdom. She knew her daughter well, sensing that something had gone wrong earlier. Imelda had always been a pillar of support for Imee, offering guidance and strength whenever needed.

Imee took a deep breath, mustering the courage to share what had happened between her and Rod. With a heavy heart, she began recounting the events, trying to find the right words.

"Bongbong, something happened between Rod and me," Imee started, her voice trembling slightly.

"He's been ignoring me for weeks now, and the issue is still about my twins.. Hindi ko na kinakaya Kuya.. He even accused me of having an affair with CJ.. siya pa ang may ganang magalit ngayon.. i know naman na hindi niya matanggap na anak ni CJ ang isa sa kambal pero bakit kailangan na maparusahan ako ng ganito.. i chose to leave because i wanted space.. and i think he also need it"

A mix of surprise and concern crossed Bongbong's face as he digested Imee's words. He had always been supportive of his sister, walang ibang hiling kundi ang kasiyahan ng kanyang Manang.

Imelda, on the other hand, maintained her calm demeanor, her eyes silently urging Imee to continue. She knew that her daughter needed to let it all out, to find solace and support in her family.

Imee continued, her voice gaining strength as she shared her feelings of frustration and disappointment. She expressed her fears, her doubts, and her determination to move forward, leaving behind and trying to fix a toxic relationship that's causing her so much pain.

As Imee spoke, the room was filled with a mixture of emotions – empathy, understanding, and love. Bongbong listened attentively, nodding in agreement with Imee's decision to prioritize her happiness and well-being.

Imelda finally interjected, her voice filled with motherly wisdom and guidance.

"Imee, my dear, I'm so sorry that you had to go through this. But always remember that you deserve nothing less than love and respect. We are here for you, no matter what."

Imee looked around the table, absorbing the love and support emanating from her family. She knew she had made the right decision in confiding in them. With their unwavering support, she felt a renewed sense of strength and determination to navigate through this challenging period in her life.

In that moment, surrounded by her family's love, Imee realized that she was not alone in her struggles. Together, they would face the difficulties, heal the wounds, and emerge stronger than ever before. And although there might be bumps along the way, she knew that her family would always be there to guide her with love, understanding, and unwavering loyalty.

They continued their meal, their conversation gradually shifting to lighter topics. Imee felt a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that no matter what the future held, she had her family's love and support, and that made all the difference.

Weeks had passed since the incident, and Rod found himself trapped within the confines of his own home. He couldn't bear to face Imee due to his overwhelming shame and regret over his actions. The consequences of his choices weighed heavily on him, and he desperately wanted to make amends.

Rod attempted to reach out to Imee, hoping for forgiveness and a chance to apologize, but each call went unanswered. The silence further intensified his feelings of guilt and remorse. He realized now, more than ever, the depth of his mistake and the consequences it had brought upon their relationship.

Meanwhile, Imee, believing that Rod had no intentions of fixing their fractured connection, entertained the idea of leaving the country to start anew. She figured that by immersing herself in a different environment, she would be able to distance herself from the pain and avoid the possibility of running into Rod.

Upon deciding her plan, Imee shared her intentions with her family, including her mother, Imelda. Imelda, being a supportive and understanding figure in Imee's life, expressed her concern but ultimately upheld her daughter's decision.

"Imee, my dear, you are grown now, and I trust that you know what is best for yourself," Imelda said tenderly. "Just consider your choices carefully, and know that we will support you no matter what you decide to do."

Feeling loved and accepted, Imee then entrusted her brother, Bongbong, with the task of booking their flight to France and arranging their move. Bongbong, however, was apprehensive about the plan, as he believed that Imee was potentially denying Rod his rights as a father to their children. He worried about the implications this decision might have on their family dynamic.

Imee pleaded with Bongbong, emphasizing how important it was for her to leave, to heal, and to protect herself from further pain. She assured him that she had thought long and hard about the consequences and believed that this was the best course of action for their well-being. Reluctantly, Bongbong agreed, understanding his sister's need for a fresh start.

As the days passed, with Imee's departure date looming closer, Bongbong devised a plan to inform Rod about their impending move when Imee's flight was scheduled to leave. He felt it was only fair for Rod to be aware of their decision, even if it meant facing the consequences of his actions.

In a bittersweet moment, Bongbong approached Rod and, with a heavy heart, explained Imee's plan to relocate to France without any further contact. The news hit Rod hard, and he finally confronted the full weight of the damage he had caused. Regret consumed him, and he realized that his chance at redemption might be slipping away.

Imee's departure day arrived, and amidst tearful goodbyes with their loved ones, she and Bongbong boarded the flight to France, leaving behind the life they had known and the pain that had plagued them.

As the plane took off, Imee looked out of the window, feeling a mix of emotions. She knew that her decision was not an easy one, but she believed it was necessary for her healing and growth. Imelda's words echoed in her mind, reminding her that her family would always support her.

With each passing mile, Imee cautiously embraced the possibilities that lay ahead, hoping that their new journey in France would bring about the healing and sense of fulfillment that had evaded her for so long. And as she closed her eyes, she whispered a silent prayer for Rod, hoping that he, too, would find a way to mend his own broken pieces.
