I remember close to nothing about him, but the person he was... "attached" to (kinda like the candy children/wisher kind of thing) got his eye gouged out? Somehow?

This specifically is the one from Guide chap 3
They're basically zombies. I kinda got this idea shortly after I watched the Longtail Mr Fear AU if you couldn't tell.
How do they exist? The seer virus takes over the host and uses their dead body as a vessel. Just possession.
Usually when they re-awake they are still stuck in the violence-trance they get in when they die, therefore they all seem overly beat-up. But after a few minutes of insanity they're fine.
They can only be killed in the event of the larger main eye in their chest being stabbed/injured.
Heavy blood flow and loss of blood clotting is a common side effect of the virus, hence why they bleed so much.
I put a lot of thought into these guys for some reason and I like the outcome honestly
