Allison's POV
We get out of the fireplace and take a look around our surroundings.
The furniture has been removed from the room, there's tables covered in white and black cloth. There's chairs spread out across the walls, and there's gold and black decorations everywhere.
Cissy saw us and came straight over, "you all look lovely my dears" "you look gorgeous cissy" Molly says
She lets out a little giggle, "your parents are over here, I would advise making your presence known would probably be the wisest decision right now" she pointing across the room.
"We will, and Thankyou for inviting us" Daphne says
"Your always welcome around here, you guys should know that by now" we all let out a small giggle before cissy walks off.
"Do we have to see them" I say turning to Jake
"I'm afraid that we do" he says, we both sigh
We all make our way over to our parents, then I see Benjamin and a girl next to my parents.
"Hello mother, father" I say to them
"Hello" they before turning to my brother and the girl next to him
I turn to talk to Benjamin. "Are they always like that to you" he says
"Yeah, they weren't as bad before Evelyn died but the death struck them hard I guess leaving them to blame me" I say
"She isn't dead" he says
"That's what you keep saying, but I saw her die. I'm the reason she's dead" I say
He pulls me into a side hug, "oh sorry where are my manors, Allison this is my girlfriend Abigail" he says turning to the girl
"It's lovely to meet you Abigail" I say sticking out my hand, she looks at me with disgust
"Who are you" she says to me
"I'm Allison Evergreen" I say with my hand still in the air.
"So you guys are like brother and sister" she says
"I guess" I say with a small laugh
She places her hand in mine and shakes it "I'm sorry about how I acted just now" I laugh "it's fine honestly, I've been treated way worse"
We both talk for a bit with Benjamin just standing next to us.
All of a sudden I feel a presence behind me, I turn around ready to punch them only to realise it's Theo. He catches my fist and brings it down into my side.
"Your not punching me again darling now are we" he says
"I'm sorry but it would be your fault" I say
He doesn't say anything just kisses me. When we pull away I head a cough behind me.
I turn around to see Benjamin looking uncomfortable to be here and Abigail who looks very interested in what I was just doing.
"Oh right sorry, Mattheo this is Abigail, Abigail this is Mattheo" I say
"Hi nice to meet you" he says sticking out his hand.
She shakes it. "So how long have you been dating?"
I look up at Mattheo "uh we aren't dating" I say "Yet" I hear Mattheo say
I can feel my cheeks starting to burn.
We all chat for a while before the rest of the group joins us.
"Hey guys" Molly says to us.
"Hi" i say
"Who are they" she says
"Molly that sounded rude, this is Benjamin my brother I guess, and his girlfriend Abigail" I say
"Oh I didn't mean to sound rude" molly says "sure you didn't" I hear Mattheo muffle.
"Wait you have a brother" pansy says
"Yeah I found out earlier today, I literally told you about it when we were getting ready" I say
"Oh yeah you did didn't you" she says
Jake comes over with Daphne after talking to our parents "so how are they" I say
"They're good, look a bit regretful like somethings going to happen, but I mean they always look like that" he says
"Yeah I guess they do" I chuckle
After 10 ish minutes we go and get drinks, and more drinks, and more drinks apart from Jake won't let me drink more then 2 glasses.
"Why won't you let me drink" I whine
"You sound like a child. I'm not letting you drink when mother and father are here" he says
"But whyyyyy" I whine
"No, your too young" he says with a smirk
"Don't you dare use that card on me, your only a couple minutes older" I say
"And they were the best minutes of my life" he says
"Well I guess I should leave then" I say about to walk away
"I'm just joking don't leave" he says grabbing my arm
"Mate who do you think I am. In no way am I leaving you here with our parents around" I say
"Can we go dance" I say to Mattheo
"Sure" he says pulling me to the floor.
We dance for what seems like nothing, but we danced for ages and I know we did cause my feet are hurting.
"Can we go sit down" i say
"I've been waiting for you to ask me this for the past hour" he says
"Oh shush you know you enjoy my company" I say
"I do" he says planting a kiss on my forehead
We go to the others to see 10 more people with them.
"Hey guys" I say walking over
"Hey Allie" someone says
I turn around to see Cygnus
"Hey Cygnus, how have you been" I say to him
"I've been good, schools a pain but you know not much I can do" he says
"Fair enough" I say
"Has Draco introduced you to my sisters" he says
"No he hasn't why" I say
"Oh well, LYRA TALITHA" he shouts
2 girls come over to us "what do you want Cygnus" they both say in unison
"I want to introduce you to Allison Evergreen" he says pointing to me
I go to shake their hands before one of them starts to talk
"Your the girl that set beauxbatons on fire aren't you" Lyra says
"Yeah" I say shyly
"Aren't you Alex's old bird" Talitha says
"I guess you could call me that, why" I say
"Oh he's here today" she says
With that in perfect timing Alex walks over to us
"Allie it's been ages since I last saw you" he says trying to pull me into a hug
I just stay still, Mattheo pulls me back and wraps his arm around my neck.
"Moved on so quick" he says
"Well when you get cheated on by someone it's easier to move on" I say
"Oh come on I didn't cheat on you" he says
"You literally slept with her when we were together" I say
"Only because you didn't want to sleep with me" he says
"I'm not having this conversation with you" I say walking away
He grabs my wrist making me face him "I'm going to say this once, and only once. Let Me Go"
"No" he say with a smirk
Before I can say anything Mattheo punched him in the face.
Alex let's go of my wrist so me and Mattheo walk away
"Thankyou" I say
"I will always do anything to protect you darling" when he says darling my cheeks go red
"Do I make you blush, Darling" he says
I don't say anything I just grab his face and kiss him.
"I love you" i blurt out
Mattheo just stands there
Shit I think to myself
I've ruined everything.
He's just standing there, not moving.
I leave and run out crying, I run into the garden and down to the lake
I sit down on a log and just cry.
