Third Pov
Me and my mom are sitting on the couch watching an old sitcom.
Nora: I told ya. Everything's better in song. When you speak it's just words. But when you sing. You open up your soul and let who you really are shine through.
Y/n: Thanks, Mom.
My mom then kisses me on top of my head.
Nora: I love you, my beautiful boy.
Y/n: I love you too.
Y/n and Nora continue to watch the sitcom together.
Y/n Pov
My story is pretty simple, my whole life I've been running. Usually from bullies. Sometimes I escaped. Sometimes I did not.
Nora: Tell me what happened.
My mom is curing my right eye.
Y/n: Those guys were picking on kids. Just cuz they thought they weren't cool. It wasn't right.
Nora: I know.
Y/n: I guess I want fast enough.
Nora: No. You have such a good heart Y/n and it's better to have a good heart than fast legs.
Just then my father opens the door. He just got back from work.
Henry: Hello. I'm home.
Nora: Y/n got into a fight.
Henry: Oh yeah?
Nora: And he won.
Henry: Way to go, slugger.
Mom then looked at my dad.
Henry: Oh and uh....no more fighting.
They then kissed each other.
6 hours have passed
I'm now sitting on my bed and my mom is checking on my right eye.
Y/n: Ouch.
Nora: The bruises are already healing.
Y/n: It still hurts
Nora: Not for much longer, honey.
I got under the covers and she tucked me in.
Nora: I'll keep the light on for you.
Y/n: Are you afraid of the dark?
Nora: If I turn this light off now, would you be scared?
Y/n: No.
Nora: That's because I'm here with you. You see you're not afraid of the dark, Y/n. You're afraid of being alone in the dark and that goes away when you realize something. You're never really alone.
I smiled at her words.
Then my dad walked in.
Henry: It's time for bed.
Y/n: I'm thirsty.
Henry: *raises a cup of water* Uh-huh. You're stalling, but I got you covered buddy. Goodnight slugger.
Y/n: Goodnight Dad.
Nora: Sweet dreams my beautiful boy.
Y/n: Goodnight Mom and you can turn off the light.
She did and I went to sleep
Little did I know that I would lose my parents on this night.
15 minutes later
I woke up to the sounds of something hitting on the walls of the living room. I look at my water tank that has my pet goldfish floating.
Y/n: Mom. Dad.
I then made my way downstairs and saw red and yellow lights circling around my mom(who is on the floor)
Y/n: Mom!
Nora: Y/n, go!
I tried to reach out to her but I caught a glimpse of a man in a yellow suit.
Y/n: Mom!!
Then my dad came in and looked at me in the eyes.
Henry: Run, Y/n, Run!!
When I blinked, I was now two blocks away from my home.
Metropolis
Y/n Pov(20 years old)
Beep
Beep
Beep
Y/n: *sleepy* Turn it off, Clark.
Jimmy: What he said.
Clark: Huh? *realizes* It's today.
Crack
Y/n: Did you break it, again?
Clark: *nervous* What? I didn't break it this time.
Y/n: By the way, what time is it?
Clark: It's 7 a.m.
I then sit up on my bed.
Y/n: 7 a.m!
Jimmy: *still sleepy* No need to scream.
Y/n: I'm running late.
Clark: Why?
Y/n: I have a job interview for MPD as a forensic scientist.
Clark: Well good luck.
I then went and changed into the bathroom, comb my hair, and brushed my teeth. Now I'm ready for the day.
Jimmy: Bro aren't you going to eat?
Y/n: Well I'm a little hungry.
Clark: Why not join with me? I'm going to the donut shop.
Y/n: Okay. I'll tag along.
Clark: okay, Jimmy I'll meet you up at the Daily Planet.
Jimmy: Just don't come late. Remember this is our chance to be reporters.
Clark: Okay. See ya.
Y/n: Bye Jimmy.
Jimmy: Bye Y/n.
We walked out of our apartment and went on our way to the donut store.
Y/n: I still can't believe that you eat that much of donuts.
Clark: Maybe it's because I'm built differently.
Y/n: Yeah but still that's too much sugar. Like how come you don't have diabetes?
Clark: My metabolism is better than yours.
Y/n: Okay.
I got out my phone, put my earbuds in, and listened to some music. I then felt the wind blowing on my left side. I look to my left and saw Clark walking.
Hmm, strange. Oh well.
5 minutes pass by and we are now at the donut store. I turned off the music and put my phone away.
Clark tried to opened the door but the handle broke.
Clark: Well it's an old place.
Y/n: Uh-huh....sure.
Clark: It's true. You can tell the shop owner that I repair some stuff.
Y/n: Okay.
We then heard chatter behind us and I swear that my heart skipped a beat for a second.
A woman with red hair walking right next to her friend. Clark opened the door.
Clark: Hi there.....
Y/n: After you......
The woman with red hair looks at me with a smile.
???1: Thanks.
Her friend went up to Clark.
???2: Yeah and thanks, big guy. See you there.
The two women went inside while me and Clark just sigh, in love. We also went inside.
Clark went up to the short hair girl while I went to the redhead.
Clark/Y/n: Hey/Hey uh...hello.
???1: Hi.
???2: Hey.
Clark: My name is-
Shop owner: Clark!
An elderly woman went up to Clark and hugged him.
Shop owner: Those repairs you did on the backdoor were wonderful.
Y/n: *whispering* I guess he was telling the truth.
The elderly woman left and return with three huge boxes of donuts.
Shop owner: ooh and I have three dozen donuts you wanted to eat, all ready to go. *laugh* such a good appetite, this one.
The redhead whispers to me.
???1: Does he really eat that much of the donuts?
Y/n: Yes. Even I was surprised when I found him eating the donuts all by himself. I'm Y/n by the way.
???1: Iris. My friend's name is Lois.
I looked at Lois who was staring at Clark.
Y/n: So uh, Iris. What do you do?
Iris: I work at the Daily Planet.
Y/n: Really? Well, my friend Clark is going to be working there.
Iris: That's cool. What do you do, Y/n?
Y/n: Oh I'm just going to MPD as a forensic scientist. I got an interview today.
Iris: Good luck. I heard that they pay well.
Y/n: *laughs* Yeah I heard that too. But I just love to help people.
I then look at my watch.
Y/n: I'm going to be late. Well, it was nice meeting you.
Iris: Same. Hey, can I see your phone real quick?
Y/n: Sure, why?
I gave her my phone and she was typing something on my phone.
Iris: There you go, I put in my phone number. You know so we could hang out.
Y/n: Okay, well I do have to go. See ya. Bye Clark.
Clark: Huh? Oh yeah Bye.
I then left but I now remembered why I was at the donut shop in the first place. So I went back inside again.
Y/n: Can I have a donut, Clark?
Clark: Sure. Here you go.
He opened the box of donuts and I grabbed two donuts.
Y/n: Thanks.
I then left and ran as fast as I can.
2 hours later
David Singh: Alright Y/n. You got the job. Take this job seriously.
Y/n: Thank you. So uh when will I be starting the job?
David: Tomorrow at 8 a.m.
Y/n: Thanks and will I get my own office?
David: Yes. Everyone here does. Remember don't be late.
Y/n: I won't and can I come tonight so I can put some of my stuff here like a photo and-
David: Yes Y/n.
Y/n: Thanks David.
He then stares at me.
Y/n: I mean Captain Singh. I better get going.
I left the place and felt my phone vibrating.
It was a text message from Iris saying to go to the docks. I texted her why and she said to just come. I replied back by saying "I'll be there."
Looks like I gotta run some more.
One eternity later
I'm so beat. I eventually found Iris. And her friend Lois. Jimmy and Clark are here too?
Iris: Y/n *waves at me to go towards her*
Clark: Y/n? What are you doing here?
Y/n: I was gonna say the same thing.
Clark: Well me and Jimmy are helping Lois and Iris on their story. Oh and how was the interview.
Y/n: It went great. The captain did test me on my knowledge and I passed. So I'll be working there, tomorrow. And what story is it?
Jimmy: That a group of people stole these big robots, that came from outer space.
Y/n: *confused* Huh?
Lois: They actually came from an army base.
Y/n: That makes sense. Well, let's go inside the building.
Clark: Lois where are you going?
I saw that Lois climbed on top of the waste bin. She then lifted Clark. Once Clark was on top of the waste bin she almost failed but Clark caught her.
She then put his hands on her waist and he lifted her up. All I cam say is that she wasn't expecting him to be that strong. She falls down but Clark saves her again by the waist.
Wow. They're now staring at each other.
Iris: *whisper* I totally ship them.
Y/n: Me too.
Jimmy: Guys!
And he ruins the moment.
Y/n: What is it?
Jimmy: We don't have to go through the window, or whisper. *opens the door* The door is unlocked. *looks inside* Oh that's not good.
We went inside the warehouse and it was empty.
Lois: No! The robots should be here.
Iris: Look around, there has to be something.
Me, Clark, and Jimmy looked at each other.
We looked around and found nothing.
Jimmy: Oh!
What is that?
Jimmy: PM.
Clark: PM could be initials like-
Jimmy: Paranormal Meta-sapiens! It's the term for the super intelligent gorillas. France has been hiding
(Yep just some super intelligent gorillas. It's not like we are gonna see him here. It's too early.)
Lois: Maybe part of a uniform.
Jimmy: A French one.
Iris: Look, it's not gorillas.
Jimmy: I know what I'm talking about.
Lois: And it's not merpeople.
(The king of Atlantis is relieved that the people of land thinks that its a myth)
I heard a phone ring and saw that it was Clark. For like 30 seconds he comes back with a disappointing face.
Iris: I know. It's port of Metropolis.
Lois: Bingo.
Jimmy: What are we waiting for let's go!
Clark: Perry just called.
Lois stopped and so did Iris.
Clark: Lois, you lied to me.
Y/n: Huh? I'm confused.
Jimmy: Same.
Lois: I mean, technically, yes, but you wouldn't have helped me if I told the truth.
Clark: you didn't give us the chance.
Lois: Because this was too important. The people of Metropolis needs to know what's happening to their city.
Y/n: Let's break it up.
Clark: No. Lois, this isn't about the city, it's about you. I trusted you, and you used me, Jimmy, and Y/n. Just so you could get your story.
Y/n: Iris?
Iris: don't look at me. I told her no.
Lois: Come on Clark. We're a team.
Clark: We're not a team. We're just three dummies who listened to you because we didn't know any better. And now we do.
Lois: Fine I don't need your help anyway.
She then pulled Jimmy and left the warehouse.
Iris: I should go as well. Bye.
Iris left and went to catch up to Lois while I stayed behind with Clark.
Clark: You know you could leave with them.
Y/n: Yeah but bros before girls. You're my friend. I'll be there by your side.
Clark: Thank you.
Y/n: No problem, now come let's go and take a walk.
As we were walking around, a girl riding back stopped us.
???: Clark!! Lois was right.
Clark: Ugh. I know. She did lie, but would I have helped her if she told me the truth? I...I don't think I would. And what does that tell about me?
???: Not that!! Lois, Jimmy, and Iris found the robots! And the robots turned on them! What do we do! Should we call Perry? The president? My mom?
Y/n: Slow down there girl. Now where are they?
???: At a construction site about 5 miles from here.
Y/n: Well then come on Clark-
Clark left.
Y/n: Ugh. Bye girl.
I ran as fast as I can. I hope I am not too late.
Iris: Help!
Jimmy: AHHH!!
Y/n: Jimmy? Iris? Lois?
I ran towards the construction site and saw them being cornered by a giant robot.
Y/n: No!!!
The robot lifs its arms and was about to strike them when suddenly a person caught the punch in midair.
That said person pushed the robot. This made the robot fall back on its back. The guy was about to punch the robot again but it was swatted.
The robot punched the man in a hoodie 5 times until the man dodges it. The guy started to fly again and punched the robot. The robot falls down. The man takes out the power source of the robot with its bare hands.
Then out of nowhere 4 more robots comes in and were standing in front of the man in a hoodie. Iris looks up and saw 4 storage boxes that has red light turn on button.
Iris and Lois ran ti the boxes while I was just standing there doing nothing. The man is now at the floor. He is outnumbered. One robot was about to aim its lazers at him but falls down to the ground.
Weird. I look up and saw that Iris pressed a red button that somehow deactivates the robots.
The robots turned around saw who the culprit was and ran towards them.
Y/n: Iris!
Lois then turns off another. There are now two robots left. The robots began to shoot lazers at Iris and Lois. To my relief, they ducked just in time.
The robots then cut the floor that has the last two storage containers. I knew what I have to do. I ran towards one of the containers and pressed the button. One down. One more two go.
I was about to run towards the last one but it was destroyed by the last robot. The robot was now infornt of me and aiming its lazers at me. That was until I heard a loud boom. I looked and saw that the robot is finally down. I look up and saw the same person that destroyed the robots.
Lois: Clark!
Y/n: Wait what?
Iris: We need to find him. He was swatted away by the robots.
I followed the girls and saw Jimmy picking up huge stones.
Y/n: Let me help you.
We lifted the stones and found no one. We were devastated.
Lois: Clark!!
I look up and saw Lois running towards Clark and giving him a big hug. They then talked.
Iris: It looks like the city is safe.
Y/n: Yeah. I wonder what would happen if they unleashed the robots in the city.
Iris: Well obviously destruction. Good thing that the stranger saved us.
Y/n: Yep.
We hear Lois apologizing to Clark that she really was selfish.
Y/n: Now that's a good moment.
Jimmy: Clark!
Y/n: And it's ruined.
Jimmy ran up to Clark and hugged him.
Jimmy: You're okay!
Iris: So uh Jimmy, did you get it?
Jimmy: Did I get it? Of course, I did! I got the whole fight between the man and the robots. He's got to be an alien!
Y/n: Maybe he is.
Jimmy: Everything that I believed in is real! *raises his camera with excitement*
Clark: *nervous* Uh...you got pictures of the fight?
Lois grabs Jimmy's camera and said to Clark.
Lois: This is the story of the century! Stolen military robots taken down by a.....Superman! When we show did to Perry he is gonna say.....
Later at the Daily Planet
Perry: ....this is garbage.
Lois: But Mr.White this is gold.
Perry: What you brought is a bunch of blurry pictures of robots falling. What on earth were you thinking? And you dragged my new interns into this? And what is he doing here?
Mr. White pointed at me.
Y/n: Oh I'm just accompanying them.
Clark: It's the truth. Lois was right about the robots. And we all stand by the story that we broke. Because we're a team.
Lois: *fake cough*
Clark: Uh, sir.
Perry: All interns out. I'll figure out what to do tomorrow.
Jimmy: Does that mean we're not getting fired? Does that mean you'll run our story, chief?
Perry: I'll run your story on the day you get a photo with a real "flying man". Now out.
He then kicked us out of his office.
Clark: Lois?
Lois screams in excitement.
Lois: This is great! We just need to get an exclusive interview of Superman and then Mr.White will have to take it seriously.
Clark: That's your take away from all of this?
Jimmy: Oh yeah!
Clark: Iris?
Iris: I'm with them.
Clark looks at me asking for help.
Y/n: Hey, don't look at me. We are outnumbered.
Lois: From now on no more secrets. Right Clark?
Clark: Of course.
Iris: Yes! No matter where he goes and no matter where he hides we'll track down Superman and force him to tell us all his secrets and we will publish them. This is the best day of my life!!!

Later at midnight
I walked inside the police department with my stuff. Luckily Captain Singh told the guards that I would be coming here to put my stuff there. I walked towards my room which is on the 2nd floor.
I went inside and saw chemicals on the walls. I put my stuff down on my desk. Put pictures of my mom and my dad on the walls.
Thunder
Hmm looks like it's gonna rain. I went to close the skylight. I was holding the chains and was about to close it but something strange was happening. Chemicals in my room were levitating as if there was no gravity. I look up but before I knew what was happening I got struck by lightning.
The lightning launched me toward the chemicals which I got covered. Then I blacked out.
