Day of the ball
Allison's POV
I wake up to an alarm going off, I open my eyes and look around my surroundings.
Everything is blurry I am absolutely knackered, me and Mattheo didn't go to sleep until 4 this morning.
Let's just say we were busy....
I turn of the alarm and see the time, 7am. No wonder I'm knackered I've only had 3 hours of sleep.
I turn over and look at Mattheo, his curls are lying perfectly on his face, he is gorgeous.
I lay back down and cuddle into him more, his hands move to my waist and he pulls me in even more.
I look up at him to see his eyes open, "morning princess" "morning handsome" he pulls me in even more. I don't know how it's possible and plants a kiss on my forhead.
I bury my face into his neck as he rests his head on top of mine.
3 hours later
I wake up again, still in the same position from 7am.
I go to move but get pulled back by Mattheo. Who's awake,
"Morning princess" he says in a raspy voice, "morning handsome" I say
"What's the time?" I ask. "11:56" "how do you know what the time is?" I ask
"I just do" he replies
"We need to get up" I say
"Yeah, but do we want to?" He says
"No, but what time is the ball?" I ask
"Erm, I think we need to be there for 6" he says
"Ok, I need to start getting ready at 2" I say, "but that gives you 4 hours, do you really take that long to get ready?" He asks
"Oh shoot, no I need to start getting ready at 1 then" I say, he looks at me confused but doesn't say anything.
I go to get out of bed but he pulls me by my hand "what are you doing?" He asks.
"Getting up" I say trying to get out of bed
"Why, don't you want to stay with me and have cuddles?" He says with puppy dog eyes
"As much as I want to give in right now, I can't. I need to take a shower" I say
He shoots me the look "no you can't join, I need to wash my hair" I say
He just sighs "can I shower in your room" I ask
"Yeah sure, I will be back I need to grab you a clean towel" he says getting up.
He walks out the door, so I take off his jumper and boxers I was wearing and head in the shower.
I wash my hair and shave my legs and armpits, I need to be fresh.
Once I'm done I notice that Theo still isn't back.
I put my head out of the door and see that he isn't in the room.
"Mattheo" I shout, getting no reply
I shut the door and just sit in the shower cause why not.
After what felt like ages I open the door to see a boy sitting on Jakes bed.
I leave a small crack in the door so he can't my naked self. "Excuse me, who are you?" I ask
He looks over to the bathroom "oh I'm Benjamin, Benjamin Evergreen. What's your name?"
"I'm really sorry but can you repeat your last name" I ask
"Oh yeah sure, it's Evergreen" he says "what's your name?" He asks
"My names Allison Evegreen" i say.
"Wait Evergreen" he says
"Yeah, how old are you" I ask
"I'm 20" he says "how old are you?" He asks
"I'm 16" I say shyly
"So why are you in this dorm" he says
"Well this is my brothers dorm, and his best friends dorm" I say
"How old is your brother" he says
"He is 16, he's a couple minutes older then me" I say "what do you know about our family?" I ask
"I have a younger sister called Evelyn, my mother and father work for the ministry" he says
"You mean had a sister" I correct him
"Umm, no she is alive" he says
"No she died" I say
"What do you mean, I literally saw her this morning" he says
My heart sank. I started to cry
Just then Mattheo came into the dorm to see him. And came into the bathroom to see me.
He wraps the towel around me and held me close to him.
"Hey, hey what happened?" Mattheo asks Benjamin.
"She told me my sister Evelyn was dead and I told her that she's alive cause I saw her this morning" he says dumbfounded
"Hey come on, your ok princes. Breath with me" Mattheo says calmly.
Mattheo places my head against his chest so I follow his breathing.
"Hey you, you see the yellow and orange bottle can you bring that to me" Mattheo ordered
Benjamin grabs it and gives it to Mattheo.
Mattheo takes one out and gives it to me to take.
I take it and slowly start to calm down.
He picks me up and places me on his bed. Just as he does this Jake walks into the room.
Jake sees me and rushes over to me. "Hey what happened"
Mattheo explains everything "who the fuck are you" Jake says turning to Benjamin
"I'm Benjamin Evergreen and I'm 20" Jake looks shocked
Jake takes Benjamin out of the room and Mattheo gives me a clean pair of boxers and a clean jumper of his.
I put them on and just sit there. Mattheo comes over and sits next to me.
"Princess are you ok" he says
"I saw her die, i saw her die, I'm the reason she died, she's dead I killed her" I said in a whisper
"Princes you didn't kill Evelyn, it was an accident that you couldn't control no one could." Mattheo says
"I saw her die.." I say with a tear come out the corner of my eye.
Mattheo just stayed silent and pulled me into a hug.
I hugged him back so tight, just so he could never leave me.
Jakes POV
I drag Benjamin out of the room and into the hallway.
Luckily everyone is out today on a hogsmade trip.
"Who the fuck are you?" I start
"I'm Benjamin Evergreen and I'm 20" he says
"How do you know about Evelyn?" I ask
"She's my younger sister, 2 years younger"
"How come I've never heard of you?" I ask
"I don't know, but at 4 I was sent to Germany to live with my grandmother, and Evelyn used to spend Christmas and Easter with me" he says
"Including when she was 13?" I ask
"No when she was 10, she was sent to live with me and grandmother" he says
"But we saw her die?" I say
"That wasn't Evelyn, she's alive" he says
"So who did die?" I ask
"I don't know maybe you should ask mother and father" he says
"Ok fine then, why are you here" I ask
"Im a teacher, i now teach care of magical creatures" he says
"Does mother and father know your here?" I ask
"Yeah, grandmother died last month so mother and father asked for me and Evelyn to return home" he says
"Oh ok" I say
"Can I ask you a question" he says
"Uh sure" I say
"Who are you?" He asks
"I'm Jake Evergreen" I say
"So your Allison's twin" he says
"Yeah I am" I say
"Also, why did Allison react like that when I mentioned Evelyn being alive" he asks
"We all saw Evelyn die, we were swimming down by the lake, me and Allie were 8, Eve was 10. Allison started to drown so Eve saved her but when we turned back Eve's lifeless body was on the surface of the water. Allie blamed herself for our sisters death. And our parents also blamed her for our sisters death. They never treated Allie good after the 'death' so Allie is medication for a neurological condition from the incident" I say
"That's.... A lot to process" he says
"Yeah it is" I say
We end up talking for another 10 minutes before heading back into the dorm.
When we do I see that Allie is asleep in mattheo's arm.
"How is she" I say walking over to them
"In disbelief, that Evelyn is alive, I gave her some medicine so she doesn't go into a stress induced coma." He says
"Ok well that's good" I say
Me and Benjamin sit on my bed while Mattheo talks to us with Allie in his arms.
We talk for an hour.
Allison's POV
I wake up to people talking around me, I bury my head further into Mattheo's chest.
I hear him chuckle "hello princess" I just humm in response
"It's time for you to start getting ready" he says
"I don't wan to" I say
"Are they dating" I hear someone say
"No but he is going to ask her out soon hopefully" I hear my brother say
"Jakeee stoppp" I whine
He laughs, I open my eyes, look at him and flip him off.
Mattheo let's out a small chuckle and so does the other guy.
I recognise him but I don't know his name "what's your name" I say
"Oh um Benjamin Evergreen" then I remember everything.
"Sorry about my actions earlier" i say to him
"There's no need to apologise, I would've done so much worse if it was me that happened to" he says
I give him a weak smile "well it was nice to meet you, but I must get ready for tonight" I say getting out of mattheo's lap.
"Yeah it was nice meeting you to" he says to me.
Mattheo follows me to the door and kisses me, I kiss him back before leaving.
"See you later princess" he says
"See you later Theo" I say walking off.
I walk back to my dorm and see all the girls in my dorm.
I slip into my dress and tell them what happened when doing my makeup.
"Wait, so she isn't dead" Molly says
"Apparently not" I say
"How are you though" Daphne says
"Shocked, very shocked" I say
We all continue talking until 5:30 when we all finish.

We hear a knock at the door so we open the door, for us to see all the boys standing and waiting for us.
"You girls look amazing" Theodore says
"Now I wish I did bring a date" Draco says
Jake walks over to Daphne to compliment her, Blaise goes to Pansy, Enzo goes to Molly and Mattheo goes to me.
"Your look gorgeous Princess"
"Your don't look to bad yourself" I say giving him a kiss.
We all go 2 at a time in the fireplace to use the floo powder so we can go to Malfoy mansion.
Draco and Theodore go first, Molly and Enzo go second, Blaise and Pansy go third, Jake and Daphne go Forth, me and Mattheo go last.
When we make it through, we step out and the party is absolutely gorgeous.

A/N : I usually plan ahead for each chapter but this one was made in the moment.
I didn't plans for Evelyn to be alive or Benjamin to exist.
But even though I didn't plan this chapter, this chapter is one of my favourites that I have wrote.
