what is comfort?
it is the warm feeling
given to you,
when sidled up beside the persons you care for.
it is the soothing feeling of a caring touch,
hands gliding through your hair.
it is being curled up on the sofa,
with a warm drink in Winter,
all bundled up.
it is having that shoulder to cry on.
you might know the one,
of the only person who has truly seen you cry.
the one that has seen you at your Strongest.
and the one that has seen you at your Worst.
the one person you feel safe enough to tell everything, is a luxury in and of itself.
hold onto it.
care for them as they do you.
most of all,
be prepared to lose that Comfort,
only to gain a new one,
albeit the old comforts can never truly be replaced.
that is true.
