Malik stood picking out fruits with Mosiah as they shopped for groceries.
“Nigga, I'mma go get me some sweet delicacies”, Mosiah said
Malik rose his eyebrow, “What?”. He shook his head
“Sweet delica—”. Malik cut him off
Malik huffed, “Just say what you gon' get”
Mosiah smacked Malikʼs neck, “I'm getting sweets witcho dumbass”. Mosiah huffed walking away
Malik rolled his eyes and continued to pick out fruits.
As he reached for pineapples, a soft voice spoke. “Can you get two of that?”. Malik reach for two pineapples and handed one to the girl and another in his trolley
“Thank you”. She said
Malik looked at her short stature, “You good. You want me to get you anything else you can't reach for?”. He asked making her laugh
“Lemme try my luck, how bout yo number?”, she smiled
Malik chuckled at her words, “How old you is”. He asked, “21”, she answered
“I'm Samaria”, she held her hand out
He nodded his head, “Malik and how bout you gimme yours”. He smirked handing over his phone
“Fasho”. She typed it in and handed him his phone
She led up her pineapple, “I'm about to pay for this and dip, you wanna walk me out”
“Fasho”. He smiled
He left the trolley and accompanied her to pay for her things and walked her out the store, “I needa smoke”. She expressed, “You smoke?”, he asked. She nodded her head, “I got a blunt but no lighter”. She said making him laugh
“I got one in my car, you wanna borrow it”, He offered
She nodded her head, “Yeah, thanks” she said. He shrugged, “Or maybe you can keep it for some souvenir, never forget me”, He flirted making her laugh
“You smooth”. They laughed
Malik began looking for his car as he couldn't see it, it wasn't where he parked it and he had the keys so Mosiah couldn't have moved it which only meant two things, his car was towed or stolen. It couldn't have been towed though because he parked at a proper parking spot so that was canceled, his car was stolen.
“What the fuck?”, He stressed
Samaria furrowed her eyebrows, “Whats up”. He shook his head, “I think my car got stolen”. He expressed making Samaria laugh but once stopped when she realized he was serious
“Shit, well you deal with that. I'mma bounce but call me later”, She walked away leaving Malik who was damn near crying
That was his first car that he'd worked hard for. A grey Nissan Altima, he adored that car. He went through a lot, working four jobs at once to get the car and now someone stole it.
He knew whoever did so never knew any of the information but it angered him that they chose his out of all the cars in the parking lot.
He began walking towards the store where he saw Mosiah with some girl and ran towards them.
He explained from when he met Samaria to how he found out that his car was stolen.
Malik nodded his head, “Gone man. Someone stole my car”, he frowned
Marie smiled small, “I came here with mine, I can drop y'all off if you want”
Mosiah nodded his head, “Thanks Marie, c'mon mane, let's go. We gon' home”
“But my car, man”, Malik sulked
Mosiah rolled his eyes, “Well yo car ain't here so c'mon”. Mosiah huffed walking away with the trolley and Marie frowned
“I'm sorry...”
“Malik”. Malik muttered
She slightly smiled, “I'm sorry Malik.”, he shook his head, “It's fine and thanks fa the offer shawty”. He said
They caught up with Mosiah, “You walking and you don't even know where my car is”. Samaria shook her head
Mosiah waved them off, “Well, you was coddling Malik over there, I ain't gon' stay fa' dat”
“Where was you gon' go then”, Malik mugged him
Mosiah shrugged, “Where God want me at”. He said making Marie laugh
“Yo dumbass”, Malik shook his head
