Sadé was currently in her hotel room getting ready for her video with Kai. After talking to her team about letting Kai guest star her on one of his streams, they came to the conclusion that a YouTube video would be better. They all agreed a collaboration would be beneficial but ultimately decided that a video held less room for error than a live stream did. This way they could oversee the editing and be sure nothing confidential aired.
Sadé fully trusted her team and knew that they had her best interest, so she agreed with whatever decision they decided upon.
She was just about done straightening her hair when she got a instagram DM from Kai.

Sadé finished straightening her hair and then made sure to turn off her straightener. She did not have the time to pay for burning down a hotel. She walked out the double doors to the hotel bathroom and made her way to her suitcase that was laid out open on the king size bed. She always kept her accessories in a separate suitcase from her clothes.
She grabbed her light pink crossbody and blue and white baseball cap that matched her outfit. She also made sure to transfer all her valuables from her carryon to her bag. Considering she had only touched down in Atlanta about an hour ago she didn't have time to unpack anything yet.
She had already texted her security that she was ready about ten minutes ago so she knew he would be waiting for her in the parking lot.
Once she got outside, sure enough her security had already got the car from the valet and was waiting by the door for her to arrive.
"Stevennnn!!!" She exclaimed upon seeing him. She loved everybody on her team and didn't care if she annoyed them.
"Wassup lil bit." he chuckled back at her, completely used to her greetings. Steven already had the door open waiting for Sadé to get in.
"Thank you." she said in response to his chivalry and climbed into the car. Steven then walked around the front of the car and got into the driver's seat. Since the car was already running, he was able to immediately pull out.
Sadé went to her and Kai's instagram dms so she could put the address into the cars gps.
16 minutes away, read the Apple Maps robot.
The closer they got to the house the more nervous Sadé began to feel. This was normal for her though, she figured it was probably normal for everybody to feel nervous when you first meet somebody.
Although she had watched some of Kai's past YouTube videos she didn't really know too much about him. To her, he seemed like a very genuine and funny person but honestly you just never know. She was so used to people being different behind the screen.
Plenty of influencers, artists, and movie stars had given her a fair share of trust issues. But she tried not to let this stop her from branching out and meeting new people, or well she tried her hardest.
After so many let downs, she began to dread having to face someone off the screen and realize how truly wrong she was about them.

"Yoooooo Yoooooo" Sadé was able to hear Kai say through the door. They had decided that Kai would introduce her first then she would make her entrance, like he does with most of his guests.
Her and Steven were currently standing outside of Kai's streaming room door waiting for her cue to go in. She just had to wait a few seconds after he said the word "surprise " and then walk into the room.
By the time she snapped back into reality Kai said her cue. Taking her sign she opened Kai's double doors and walked in with a bright smile on her face.
"We got THE Sadé James with us today, chat!" Kai exclaimed with a giggly smile on his face. Sadé couldn't help but reciprocate his excitement as she sat down beside him. She took notice that the arm to the chair she sat in was hanging on by a few pieces of gray duck tape. She would be sure to avoid applying any pressure to it.
"Introduce yourself, introduce yourself."
"Hey chat, if you didn't know I'm Sadé." She said, sending a small wave to the camera. "And I'm here with Kai to hopefully get some juicy secrets out of him." She laughed while saying this and sending a playful smile to him.
"Neverrrr gonna happen, I'm a goat at this." He said back to her.
"Today we're gonna be doing the hot ones challenge. If you don't know what that is, basically there's ten levels of hot sauce. I'll be asking Sadé the questions today, so before every question we eat a wing with the hot sauce on it. And then she answers the question." Kai said to the camera explaining how the challenge worked.
Sadé knew this would be an easy challenge for her, she loved anything spicy even if it didn't all agree with her stomach most of the time.
Kai already did the challenge before so he kept saying he was the goat and that if she didn't wanna do it then she didn't have to. But Sadé had a feeling that Kai was actually just scared because he knew he couldn't handle it. So she insisted they play the hot ones challenge, just to see his reaction to the levels.
"I'm ready to start whenever you are, Kai." She said to Kai with an innocent smile on her face. She just knew he wasn't going to reach the end of the challenge.
Kai didn't even have to answer any questions in this video but she still knew he would tap out before they made it to the final level.
"Alright level 1" Kai smirked at Sadé holding up the first hot sauce bottle to the camera. She couldn't help but raise her eyebrows in fear at how confident Kai was. Maybe this challenge wouldn't be as easy as she thought.

I think I'm gonna save it as a bonus chapter at the end of the book. :)
