"alright we went to Powerhouse Dance Competition in sinceato Ohio..and we won"
we all clap
"the overall highscore winners with Cathy sitting in that audience having to watch you guys win that overall priceless"
"this week we will be attending Dance Expressions in Grandrapid Michigan now let's starts the pyramid" Abby says
"we have Brooke, not only did you forget the routine but you talked to Rosa Parks why are you talking to Rosa Parks?"
"i was like oh my gosh i just messed up so bad and she jumped on the thing and i wasn't really" Brooke says
"she was like what do i do? what do i do?" Nia laughs
"and i was like oh god" Brooke laughs
Kelly starts laughing
"Kelly you're laughing." Abby says
"because she was funny." Kelly laughs
"i don't think it's funny we could've lost. do you have any idea what happened up there?" Abby asks
"she forgot she's human just like every one of these kids have forgotten their dances onstage" Kelly states
gee thanks for the reminder Kelly.
"so i've come to the conclusion that you need a break i'm dismissing you today. go ahead you can go" Abby says
Brooke leaves the room
"is she not supposed to come away this weekend?" Kelly asks
"she will not be travelling with us she is expected however to be in class..alright" Abby says
"next i have Mackenzie, you didn't dance..tell me how's the foot feeling now?"
"it's getting better" Kenzie says
"have you learned that if you stay off of it and rest it that it will heal so doing swing through cartwheels isn't going to help you." Abby says
"next Nia, you were outstanding i thought you were the right choice and i thought that you were beautiful in the white costume i think Rosa Parks would be very proud."
i smile and we clap for Nia
"next Kendall, she was the second overall highscore out of all those juniors and that's where she is? that's where you are."
"next Camila, you looked good in the group i think you redeemed yourself from the solo..but there's always something to improve on."
i nod
"next Chloe, you were apart of a duet you won the overall highscore in the duet trio division..did you win? yes. was it your best performance of your life? no."
"next we have Paige, you came to me you asked for the duet i gave you the duet that was good it's up to you want it and i keep telling you that"
"and now at the top of the pyramid Maddie."
we clap for Maddie
"this should be a standing ovation you gave people chills when you were dancing that's what it's all about and if she's does that..you can all do that."

"Kendall you have another solo" Abby says
we clap for Kendall
"this time we are going to work on your stamina start jogging in place and don't make a sound."
i make a slight shocked face and Kendall starts jogging on the spot
"i have another solo going to Chloe"
"yes!" Chloe whispers and she jumps excitedly
i give her a smile
"and Maddie i'm gong to change it up a bit this week and i'm kinda going to make you the leader so instead of a solo you're doing a duet with Mackenzie." Abby says
i start laughing as Maddie makes a face
"the name of your duet is called Run From Mother"
Melissa starts laughing
"now the name of the group routine i will tell you but that's all i'm telling you cause there's a big surprise element involved the name of the group routine is Golddigga" Abby says
|Group Rehearsals|
"now the name of the group routine this week is called Golddigger you think about a woman looking for a guy who has money to spend on them she doesn't really like the guy she doesn't really think he's cute" Abby explains
"oh she just likes him for the money" Chloe says
"she just wants the money yes" Abby nods
we start learning the group and it's like a new kinda style so i think it's fun
"hit..ball change"
"Abby your guest is here." Gianna comes in saying
"she is?" Abby asks
"she is" Gianna nods
"is she fabulous?" Abby asks
"yeah" Gianna nods
"i'll stay in here."
"you stay in here i'll go grab her" Abby leaves the room
"wonder who it is.." Kenzie says to me
"Taylor Swift?" i ask
"in your dreams Cam" Paige says
i sigh
"hello everybody." Abby comes back in with a lady
"hi!" Abbys guest says
"this is your surprise!" Abby says
"hi!" we all say
"this is Rachelle Rak a dear long time i don't want to say old friend." Abby says
"no old friend" Rachelle says
"a long time friend of mine who is from Pittsburgh and made it to Broadway." Abby says
i clap
"and she's really well known for her fossy style..right now she is currently in the tour of Flash Dance"
i gasp
"we saw you!" Chloe beams and pulls me forward
"you did?" Rachelle asks
me and Chloe nod
"well good i'm going to give you a lot of fossy a lot of..you can call me Rachelle or Sass..my nickname is Sass" Rachelle says
Rachelle starts to learn us a section of the dance
and it's really different but i'm enjoying it!
Rachelle then gives some really nice advice to Paige and then she shows really cool tricks
|Three Days To Competition|
i grab my dance bag and i walk ahead to the studio and Chloe follows close behind
i give Abby a small smile
"you guys are late." Abby says
"there was traffic." mom then says and i run ahead to the dancers den
"Kendall good afternoon to you too." Jill comes in saying
|Group Rehearsals|
"how was working with Rachelle last night?" Abby asks
"it's a lot different than what we usually do so..it's kinda fun learning like new steps that we don't usually do a lot." Maddie speaks up
if i said that..i think i'd be suspended again for complaining about choreography.
"that's bob fossy or that's Rachelle Rak that's what they want so it's important as a professional dancer to give the choreographer and the director and the producers what they want." Abby says
we start the group routine
"Chloe you're opposite Nia don't forget that." Abby calls out
"stop." Abby then says
"Mackenzie ! watch my head.."
we continue to do the number
"where are you supposed to be Chloe? opposite Nia? stop." Abby says
"Nia go introduce yourself to Chloe she forgets who you are..she's been suspended for a while."
Nia slowly walks near Chloe
"go and introduce yourself because shes supposed to be opposite you..you're opposite her"
Chloe then mumbles something
oh no
"what?" Abby asks
"the only reason i moved is because for the circle she had Maddie and I opposite and then.." Chloe says
"well i just changed it i have my reasons..let's go." Abby says
we then get dismissed and Chloe starts to cry
"mom!" i call
mom then comes into the dancers den
"Chlo.." mom gives Chloe a hug
"i really thought that..that's what the choreography was" Chloe says while crying
"you keep your chin up this is what she does to you every week and you let her psyche you out don't give her that control..you'll be okay? alright don't give her that satisfaction seeing you cry Chloe alright?" mom says
"okay." Chloe whispers
mom gives Chloe a hug before going back upstairs
"you okay" i ask
"fine." Chloe mumbles before leaving the dancers den
i sigh.
|One Day To Competition|
|Group Rehearsal|
"focus on what you're supposed to be doing make sure you're with everybody..five, six, seven, eight." Abby calls out
we do the routine and i make sure to give sass
"okay Mackenzie come out of there all together."
we do the routine again but this time without Kenzie
"Mackenzie you are not in the group dance, frankly i don't think you can keep up."
Kenz frowns before leaving the room
|Competition Day|
we arrive at the competition
and i wave to the fans..there's a lot, wow
we get to the dressing room and mom and Chloe set out the makeup
"alright girls now remember you are here at Dance Expressions some of the studios you are going to know so,e of them you are not going to know you need to walk out there to that stage like you own it..understood?" Abby says
Chloe gets ready for her solo and her costumes is super cute
Abby then has Kendall sit the wall...
"i'd be mortified." Paige whispers
"remind me to never look like i have no stamina." i whisper
"noted." Paige salutes
"that's humiliating." Jill mumbles
Maddie and Kenz run through their duet and it's really cute
"Chlo come here." mom pulls Chloe over and they sit down
we soon head backstage for the solos and the duet
"have fun Kendall K" i hug Kendall
Kendall performs her solos and her costume is so cool
and so was her solo!
Maddie and Kenzie then perform their duet
and it haughty it was really sweet
"have fun with it Chlo, you'll be amazing." Paige hugs Chloe
Chloe enters for her solo
and she nailed literally the entire thing
and she didn't forget it unlike i did with my first solo back.
i give Chloe a huge hug
"you killed it!" i beam
"you looked so good!" Nia says
we go back to the dressing room and we start getting ready for the group
"you were very good Chloe and Kendall..Maddie and Kenzie you guys were fabulous." Kelly says
i apply my lipstick
"hey!" Abby says to Rachelle as she comes in
we all go give Rachelle a hug
i start to stretch and Maddie helps me
"oh my" i squeal as Maddie pulls my leg back
we do Abbys version of the routine
for Rachelle
then we do Rachelle version with Kenzie in jet
"i think she can dance it." Rachelle says
"i think she can dance it's it's just.." Abby says
"she's a foot and half shorter than everybody else."
"we knew this in the rehearsal that she was this small we knew the sizes this isn't new information can i have them both..yes i can actually i don't have to ask" Rachelle says
she's brave.
so officially Kenzie is in the group routine
then Abby has a tantrum over costumes

then we finally head backstage for the group routine
"this is entry number 76 entitled Golddigga" the announcer says
we all enter and we perform the routine
i think i did a good job, i had the right faces
and my technique was really good!

we cheer and Paige gets our award
i give Kenzie a high five
we all go back to the dressing room cheering
Chloe runs and mom picks her up and hugs her
"congratulations!" mom beams
mom then gives me a hug
"you owned that number" mom hugs me
"i think Chlos being working really hard for that." Jill says
"yeah she has" mom says
"she was hungry for it." Holly says
"you did exactly what i was meant to do" i attempt to joke
"you still did amazing..don't be hard on yourself for it." Chloe hugs me
"you happy?" Melissa asks
"no i'm appalled." Abby states
oh.
"Kendall backstage is not an area to be rehearsing and risk kicking somebody or" Abby says
"Maddie and Mackenzie when they were doing their number backstage.." Jill says
"could you see them from where you were sitting?" Abby ask
"absolutely" Jill says
"okay." Abby says
"she was coming out?" Melissa says
"no no they were.my point is i could see everybody backstage" Jill says
"her point always is..is that it isn't my kid it was everybody's kid" Abby says
"you only selectively pick on my kid" Jill says
Abby then yells about being backstage..
"Chloe, what was that exit about?" Abby asks
"what?" mom asks
oh you're kidding.
"Chloe's exit when she give everybody the fingers." Abby says
"i think she was being in character like rock and roll i don't think she.." mom says
"that was not the exit she rehearsed." Abby says
"you always talk about giving the choreography something more.." mom says
"i mean something older and attitude a look." Abby says
"that certainly wasn't her intentions were." mom says
"i don't know how many rock concerts your kids have been too in the eighty's but she shouldn't know that." Abby says
"none..well she doesn't know that" mom says
"she did it..she learnt it somewhere mommy." Abby states
"can we all learn from her mistake do not change the choreography if i give you something to do on the exit if you're supposed to look back if you're supposed to blow a kiss if you flick a leg it's given to you it is given to you in rehearsal."
"one kid forgets her number and the other is rude? fix it Christi and fix it fast." Abby says before leaving
i look down
"oh you're kidding" mom mumbles
