Thursday
He stood there with his hand outstretched, but all he could grasp was air.
"I'm pregnant, Tom." That one phrase echoed through his mind, haunted him.
"I'm pregnant, Tom." That was the last thing she said, the last thing he would hear from her.
He didn't know how long he had been standing there, but it seemed like an eternity to him.
"...pregnant, Tom."
He had to find her...
Erase all evidence of her ever being in this time, and then he would search for her.
He would find her and the two of them would be immortal...or rather the three of them.
He turned around and started walking after one last glance to the spot where she had stood.
After all, the world didn't conquer itself.
