"I can't promise that. Their jobs are to protect and serve. They swore an oath. A man in my powerful position needs to have guards at all times. As I said, I have enemies everywhere and won't let anyone harm you or me. " I said

Soon, I moved to the other side of the tub and teased Lucifer a bit by crossing my legs and stroking them. I could see him getting all hot. I used my index finger to command him to join me in the tub. He wasted no time undressing his clothes and joining me in the tub. I climbed on him and began to kiss his neck. He began to moan and grip onto me, closing the gap between us. I began to nibble on his neck and earlobe; he began to growl and clutch onto me, moaning and groaning.
He soon grabbed my face, and we stared into each other's eyes. It felt like an eternity.

My Bumblebee went to the pharmacy to retrieve pain medicine and lady products. I tripled security since she was shot. I will not let anything happen to her—it's time to pay this bastard one final visit before I send him back to the cops. You're probably wondering why not kill him and kill Bethany. Two reasons: He was hired by the pregnant, psycho bitch, and second, if that bitch weren't pregnant, her head would be on a spike by my head torturer.
I returned to the soundproof cell and found him still aching in pain. This scumbag deserves a death penalty, and I'll make sure the judge gives him one.

While Lucifer was having a business meeting, I decided to make a quick trip to CVS pharmacy and pick up my pain medicine and feminine products. It was a nice breezy day, perfect for getting some fresh air. I told Whitney and Stella I'd meet up with them this evening for movie night. It will be great to catch up. Once the car pulled to the pharmacy, two guards went inside with me for safety.
Oh great, the feminine products are on sale, plus I'm craving some Lindt chocolates! I'll pick up a few snacks and chocolates for Stella's house. So far everything was great, until...

So I don't think you should blame me for your childish, selfish ways. If anything, all that's happened is yours and his. I hope that baby doesn't turn out to be like you." I said

I helped her to her feet and guided her to the SUV. The guards drove to Lenox Hill Hospital, as I began to help Bethany calm down.

My henchmen transported the bastard back to his cell, erasing his memory, but are going to make sure he confesses. Wherever you are, Ms. Collins, you are in a rude awakening. I decided to wait at the station while the detective and the captain tried to get the confession out of him.

"Mr. Morningstar, we can confirm that he was hired by a woman named to kill Ms. Winston. He said that she and he met up in an alley a few weeks ago to discuss the terms of the assassination. We have the video from the street cams. Would you care to watch it?" asked Detective Kat

As we watched the video, I was angry and disgusted that a pregnant woman would do all this to have a man to herself. So, she also wanted him to kill me because I beat up my Bumblebee's ex-husband? It is impossible to kill the Devil.
"Mr. Morningstar, after seeing the video and hearing the confession, we can confirm that the woman in the video is Bethany Lousie Collins, a former RN at Lenox Hill Hospital and the daughter of Richard and Tiffany Collins.
"She's Mayor Collins's daughter?"

When I heard her say she was taking the bitch that tried to murder her to the hospital, I knew this was that moment. How ironic that the cops sent an APB on her, and my true love is with her right now
"Captain, no need to send an APB on her; I know exactly where she is. Let's head over to Lenox Hill, and You'll be in for a surprise," I said

As much as I couldn't stand her, I couldn't leave her in this situation. I intended to wait in the waiting room, but she begged me not to leave her, so I stayed by her side, holding her hand as she gave life to a newborn baby. Her parents were stuck in traffic, trying to get there. After 20 minutes of painful labor, it was finally over. Bethany had given birth to a baby girl.
"Congrats, Ms. Collins, you are the proud mother of a baby girl," said Nurse Kaylee.
"T-thank you," she said
Watching her cradle her newborn was a very sentimental moment, but I noticed the baby was biracial. I wonder who the father is. I was going to leave until...
"Wait," said Bethany

Those three words echo through my head: It was Bethany. I couldn't believe it. The mastermind behind the ordeal was the woman who ruined my marriage and slept with my now ex-husband. The same bitch I helped to the hospital when her water broke. It was her. My heart beat fast; all my emotions surfaced: I WAS FURIOUS. ANGRY. PISSED OFF! All I could do was scream.
I screamed so loud the walls shook. All I saw was red.
"My love, please calm down," pleaded Lucifer
"Calm down? CALM DOWN?! You expect me to calm down after finding out that bitch hired that bastard to murder me!!!" I yelled
"Ma'am, we understand your frustration but beg you to relax. We found out that she hired him to get rid of you so she can have your ex-husband all to herself," said Captain Jones
"She will be arrested immediately," said the Detective
"Her parents are in there with her right now; she just gave birth to a baby girl," I said

I was still angry; I wanted to strangle her. Instead, Luci took me in his arms and held me till I calmed down.
"Breathe, baby, I'm here. I'm here, baby girl, I'm here," he said as he rubbed my back. I buried my face in his chest.

I was just as angry as she was. I wanted that bitch dead as well, but considering she just gave birth, prison is more suitable for her. When my Bumblebee screamed so loud, the walls and ground shook, and she caused a mini earthquake. Fortunately, nothing broke.
I scooped her up on my lap and held her as she tried to calm down. I kissed her head, and she clutched onto me. Suddenly, we both heard a familiar voice that we wished we hadn't heard: Her ex-husband. I immediately had the guards surround her like a fort. I will not let this bastard near my future wife! I could see the cops stopping him.
"Mr. Clifford, what are you doing here?" asked Hector
"I received an emergency phone call that Bethany was in labor. She still had me on the emergency contact form," he said
"Understandable, she just gave birth, but you cannot see her," said Detective
"Why is that?" he asked
"She's going to be arrested for attempted murder," said Kat
Michael was stunned and in disbelief.

I sat in bed cradling my newborn baby; my parents were thrilled to have a grandchild. I was happy, sad, and scared. Glad to be a mother. Sorry that my parents will be pissed once they find out, Michael is not the father. I feared what would happen when my baby discovered I had hired someone to kill the woman I despised. This was too much to handle.
"What have you named her?" asked Daddy
"Hope, her name is Hope," I said
"I love it," said Mom
My parents held her and began to embrace her until Michael came in.
"Michael, congrats you're a father," said Daddy
"I would be saying thank you if I were the father," he said
They both gasped in shock.
"What are you talking about?!" asked Mom.
"I can't believe you haven't told them. You've sunk a new low, Bethany; I'm not the father; she slept with former coworker Chris. He's the father," he said
They were shocked and appalled. I can't believe this is happening.
"You haven't told them the truth? You made believe I was the dad?!" he shouted.
"Bethany, what is going on?" asked Dad
"You told us that you and Michael have worked things out! You told us he was the father," said Mom
"I-I can explain," I stuttered
"Talk right now, young lady!" shouted Dad

"I only came here out of kindness because I received an emergency call, but I found out you're being arrested for God knows what," he said.
"A-Arrested?" stuttered Dad
"Arrested for what?! What did she do?" asked Mom
Suddenly, the police and the nurse came inside with handcuffs. The nurse took my baby away, and the police approached my bed.
"Bethany Collins, you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Evangelina Winston," said Detective Kat
Everyone, including Michael, was in shock

The police arrested Bethany and took her away. I could see her parents devastated and heartbroken. I say she's getting exactly what she deserves; she tried to have her killed, and I have no remorse for her. However, I do feel sorry for her baby. That sweet baby will have to grow up without her mother. I hope the baby will be ok. The cops told us they traced everything, the phone calls, bank transactions, etc., back to Bethany. She's currently in police custody awaiting trial.
"With the evidence against her, she'll likely face 20-25 years," said Hector
"What will happen to the baby?" I asked
"I'm sure the grandparents will take custody and the father, whomever he is," said Kat
After they left, I buried myself in Lucifer's embrace. I needed him right now; having him here was the best support. Lucifer took me to the cafe to calm down; I needed a coffee to destress this situation.
In the Maternity ward,

I called Chris and told him to rush to the hospital on his day off. I can't believe she never told him. He's going to be shocked. The baby looks like him and her. As for Bethany, I can't believe it was her! I can't believe the person I've been looking for who tried to have my Lina killed was living under my roof the whole time! She hired that son-of-a-bitch to kill my beloved! I was planning to get rid of her, but I know this. It's justifiable. She's going to pay for what she's done! As far as her baby, I'm sure her parents will take custody of the baby, and hopefully, Chris will take full custody.
10 minutes later...
"Michael, what's going on, man? Why did you call me to the hospital?" he asked
"Bro, Bethany gave birth," I said
"That's great. Boy or girl?" he said
"It's a girl," I said
"So what's the problem?" He asked

"You're the baby's father," I said
He was shocked, as he should be.
"W-what? B-but she said the baby was," he stuttered
"She lied to us both; she wanted me to believe the baby was mine until I did a paternity test. I assumed she told you after you both showed up to the charity ball a month ago," I said
"N-No, she never told me. I-I can't believe this. I'm a father. Where is she and my baby?" he asked
"The baby's in the maternity ward with her grandparents, and Bethany's in prison," I said
"WHAT?! WHAT HAPPENED?!" he shouted
"Long story short, She was the one who hired that hitman to kill Evangelina. She wanted her out of the picture and to have me all to herself," I said
"She tried to commit murder?! I can't believe this. She doesn't deserve to be a mother! My daughter doesn't deserve a killer for a mother!" he yelled.
"What are you going to do?" I asked
"I'm going to step up and take full responsibility for my child; I'm going to meet her." He said
"Sounds good; I'll head to the cafe to get a drink," I said

I entered the maternity ward and saw my daughter being held by her grandfather. I still can't believe it; I'm a father. I'm willing to be a fully devoted father to my child. Looking at her grandparents, her grandfather was thrilled to have a grandchild, but her grandmother looked all but pleased.
"I can't believe this is happening. Our daughter attempted murder and gave birth to a child that is not Michael!" yelled Tiffany.
"Tiffany, calm down, not in front of our grandchild," said Richard
"This bastard child is NOT my grandchild!" yelled Tiffany

"After everything I taught her, I was hoping she would be carrying Michael's child and secure her place in the Clifford family, and now this!" she yelled.

You can keep the baby, but this child is not my grandchild; she's out of wedlock!" yelled Tiffany.

He handed my daughter off to me.

He grabbed her hand and led her out of the hallway.

"Because of her actions, she's facing prison time, and know all we have is our granddaughter, but you can't even accept that she's ours! What Bethany did will forever haunt her, but Hope doesn't deserve this mistreatment from her grandmother!" he yelled.
"Yes, Richard, I'm just as shocked as you were. I'm disgusted that she tried to murder someone, but for her to have another man's baby that is not Michael's, we will never be secure with the Clifford Family. She was meant to be his wife, not the daycare teacher!" she said
"SHUT UP! " he roared, and she went silent.
"I had hoped after all these years, you would change, but no, you are still the same vain, selfish, entitled woman you were when I met you. I married you for love after my first marriage was already tarnished! I've been biting my tongue for a long time, but I know the gloves are off. Bethany is just like you, only worse! I went to the hospital cafe to get a coffee and tried to calm down about this whole thing. I'm still perplexed about this ordeal, but at least Bethany will face the consequences of her actions, and the baby will be with Chris and the grandparents. While I stood and waited for my order, the news announced the birth.

Good Afternoon, New York; we bring you this special news bulletin today. The police have caught and arrested the mastermind who hired a hitman to kill Ms. Evangelina Winston. We received this mugshot taken from NYPD.
The culprit is Bethany Louise Collins, daughter of city mayor Richard Collins III. Ms. Collins is currently apprehended at the NYPD. According to our records, she gave birth to a baby girl today and was arrested two hours later at the hospital. The baby is in the hands of the grandparents and the father. The charges include hire crime and attempted murder.
We don't have much information yet, but from what we heard, Ms. Winston is alive and healthy. She and Ms. Collins ran into each other at a local CVS and argued until her water broke. Ms. Winston drove her to the hospital so she could give birth, only to find out minutes later Ms. Collins was the person who tried to have her killed.

That bitch is going to pay for what she's done. She deserves hell. I went to retrieve my coffee from the stand. The moment I took a sip, I heard a familiar voice. I turned around and saw the love of my life, Lina, here in the cafe, but she wasn't alone. She was here with him! Lucifer Morningstar! I could feel my blood boiling. Seeing her with him, sitting on his lap, made me want to punch a wall. I haven't seen her since the charity ball. I should apologize. I tried to approach them, but the guards blocked me off. Lucifer moved her behind him.
"What are you doing here?!" yelled Lucifer
"I came after I heard Bethany had the baby, leading to her arrest. I came to get a coffee, then I saw you both," I said
"You know perfectly well you are not allowed anywhere near Evangelina," said Lucifer
"I did, but Lina, I wanted to apologize for what I've done; what I did at the ball was uncalled for and inexcusable. I hope you can forgive me," I said
"Are you serious? You kissed me without my consent, you assaulted me! Do you expect me to forgive you after that? I couldn't sleep for two nights! Be thankful I didn't press charges," she said
"I'm so sorry. I love you, and I have never stopped," I said
I could see Lucifer clutching his fists, looking like he wanted to kill me. He almost killed me the last time; I don't want to die this time.

This MF telling my woman he still loves her and never stopped makes me want to turn him to dust right now! I tried to fry his ass right here right now, but I could feel Bumblebee embracing me from behind, trying to get to unclutch my fists. She turned on her heels and left. I was about to do the same, but not before I left him a message.
"Get over yourself. She will never be yours again!" I said before leaving with the guards.
