"y/n there's no way you're just gonna let her talk shit about you like that!" your best friend , ivy said.
"well what do you want me to do? i don't wanna cause anymore drama" you complained putting your books in your locker.
you two were talking about a girl named emma , who spread rumors about you and told everyone you got with half the football team , even tho you had a boyfriend outside of school.
"look if anything goes overboard and people believe it , i'll tell the principal" you said.
"oh god , no y/n you're supposed to-" ivy started before getting cut off.
"slut." a boy said bluntly as he walked past you , great it was starting to spread.
rage filled your body as you watched emma looking you up and down across from you while leaning on her locker.
emma was the type of girl who got in fights at school everyday , however you weren't — in fact you never did.
without even thinking , you slammed your locker shut as you walked up to her.
people started talking and looking at you , ivy quickly followed behind you.
"are you that fucking lifeless? really? you have nothing better to do than spread rumors about me when i haven't even done anything to you?" you scolded.
"should've thought about that before giving me dirty looks the whole year" she crossed her arms as she stood up straight.
"girl if anyone gives dirty looks it's you" i shot back.
"and what are you gonna do about it huh? you can't fight " she scoffed.
"and you can? just cuz you do it everyday doesn't mean your good at it , i mean i don't think i've ever seen you win one" i said.
after i said that , i heard way more people and some even got their phones out. i looked at ivy and she looked proud but scared.
"okay.. you wanna go?" she said putting her hair up , quickly after she tried throwing a punch that i dodged.
i grabbed her fist and twisted her arm , pushing her.
she got up pushing my face and then pushing me to the locker , causing me to hit my head.
i felt blood come down my head , but i quickly pulled her by her hair and pushed her roughly on the floor to punch her hard.
then i dragged her hair back up and pushed her to the locker then back to the floor.
at this point her head was bleeding , there was a cut on her cheek and her nose was bleeding.
but before things could escalate the principal came , breaking the fight up.
IVY'S POV
y/n was still in the principals office , i was waiting for her until i got a text from mason.

i look up from my phone as i see y/n , "hey whatsup? what did he say?".
"well im suspended for 3 days , and my parents are fuming" she sighed.
"wait aren't your parents on vacation?" i asked , "yeah but he called them and they picked up and scolded me" she responded.
"well you totally won that , and you don't even have experience " i grinned , in attempt to make her feel better.
"well yeah, but i regret doing that" she frowned.
"what? your regret beating up that bitch? she deserved it" i said surprised.
"no i know she did , but me getting suspended is gonna mess things up" she replied.
"oh , yeah. well cmon i'll give you a ride home" i smiled as we walked out.
Y/N's pov
"thanks for the ride ives" i smiled slightly , "ofc , by the way why is there blood coming out of your head again? why didn't you go to the nurse?" she asked.
"oh , i don't know i guess i forgot" i chuckled, we said bye to eachother as i got down and entered my house.
my sister wasn't home yet so i was alone , i took off my shoes as i noticed blood dripping from my chin.
i look in the mirror confused , then i notice a cut which i didn't even see.
i sigh as i was gonna go to the kitchen to clean up before i was interrupted by knocks on the front door.
i open the door to reveal my boyfriend mason , his face looking worried.
"are you okay? why are you still bleeding? why did you get into a fight?!" his voice slightly raising at the end.
"mase calm down , i'm okay besides how do you know?" i asked , he shook his head and sighed "ivy told me , that's not the point y/n " , i furrowed my eyebrows.
"this isn't like you? why the hell would you get into a fight you could've gotten hurt badly!" he said disappointed but mad.
"look mason i know, but the girl was spreading rumors about me and it was bad! she said i slept with half of the football team and people started believing it? i know it's not like me but do you expect me to just stay quiet" i responded.
"..oh" he muttered , "i'm sorry , i'm glad you stood up for yourself" he slightly frowns.
"yeah, it's okay" i sighed , "cmon your still bleeding i'll get you cleaned up" he said as he rested his hand on my back , leading me to the kitchen.
"the first aid kits on the top cupboard i cant reach it" i said , he opened it and got it down , he tapped on the kitchen counter signaling for me to sit.
i get up there as he stands in between my legs , he rests his hand on my waist while holding up my chin by his two fingers seeing the cut on it.
he wipes it up and gets a cotton pad putting something on it which i couldn't even see , "this will burn , just squeeze my hand" he said gently.
i grabbed his hand that was on my waist as the cotton pad made contact with my skin , he quickly stuck a band aid on top.
he moved to the cut on my head , "woah" he said under his breath.
"you should've seen the other girl" i joked , he chuckled "so you won the fight?" he asked.
"yeah pretty much" i smirked , "good , but i better not see you getting in any more" he said , his tone changing quickly.
"yes sir" i saluted as a joke , he smiled as he got done fixing up the cut on my head.
he lifted his hand from my waist as i got off the counter , "thanks love" i kissed his jaw.
"ofc , cmon you need to rest a bit" he said as we walked to the couch.
he put on our favorite show as i rested my head on his lap , he played with my hair as he tucked a piece behind my ear.
my eyes begin to shut slowly , i heard the sound coming from the tv stop as mason lifted my head from his lap and onto a cushion.
"i love you y/n" he said as he kissed my lips softly , i smiled slightly because i was too tired to reply.
