I look up at Chris and he's asleep
I sit up off of him and lean forward on the console "how long til we get there" I ask Matt
"2 more hours, we're a min away from mcdonalds" he says
"Lay back down" Chris pulls my shoulders back down to him
"Feisty" I whisper
Chris puts his arms over the back of my shoulders and does the thumb thing (iykyk)
We arrive at McDonald's and pull into the drive through
"I want a chicken sandwich medium fry with a Dr pepper pls" I say to Matt and he orders everyone's food
"Pepsi is better" Chris says as we pull up to the window
"Whatever" I laugh
We get our food and we eat while driving to
the airport
We switched spots and now Chris is laying on me and asleep again
I'm playing with Chris's hair to help him sleep and twirl it around my fingers
I pull one hand away to go on my phone and text Madi
I pull my other hand so I can type easier
Me: hey were like 45 mins away
Madiii: same I'm like 30 or smth
Me: ok see u soon
Chris tries pulling my hands back to his hair but I pull back
Madi: yep bye
I put my phone down and continue playing with Chris's hair and lay my head on the seat
Eventually Chris falls asleep and I do too, and I wake up 35 mins later
"Chris get up" I whisper
He opens his eyes and stretches out
He sits up and we put our shoes back on
I grab my phone and we pull into the parking lot of the airport
We get all our stuff taken care ulof and once we get on the plane I sit in a row with Chris and Matt and Nick sit together with Madi
I decide to take another nap for most of the flight (3 hours is the flight length)
I wake up a while later to Chris shaking me "Hey were landing" he whispers
I grab my stuff out of the above cabinet thingy and we leave the plane
We all get the rest of our luggage then find our way to the car that they flew to Florida
We start driving to our hotel which was reasonably close and once we arrive we all get out stuff to the 2 rooms,
One room had two bed and the other had one bed,
"Matt and I can sleep here and Madi can have her own bed there, Chris you yn could take the 1 bed room"
Nick says and we all agreed
Me and Chris brought our stuff into the other room and shut the door that connected the rooms
I set our room key on the table and set my suitcase on the holder thingy
I laid down and Chris laid behind me spooning me
I started scrolling on tiktok trying to find stuff to watch and he watched from behind me
"Let's go to bed" Chris says and I plug in my phone and shut it off
He pulls the comforter over us and hold hands under the blanket
"Wake up bby" I start to hear as I'm being shaked "what" I open my eyes
"Get up and get ready were going for a walk" Chris says
I get up and fix my hair grab my phone and we leave "where are we going" I ask
"There's some trails back in thur ce woods then we're gonna get dinner" Chris says
"Why aren't nick and Matt coming" I ask as we walk back to the woods
"I wanted to be alone" he says smirking
"You're gonna murder me aren't you" I ask
"Maybe" he says "what..?" I look over at him
"You think im serious?" He laughs
I hold onto his hand and interlock our fingers
"I'm so happy you moved back to Boston" he says
"Me too" I smile
All a sudden Chris runs off down the trail
I stop walking in confusion and go to text Matt when Chris yells "come on" so I continue walking and put my phone back in my pocket
I walk down and I see Chris standing with a small box and there's writing in the dirt
"Will you be my girlfriend" I read and look up at Chris from the ground
"What..? Really?" I ask smiling "Of course" he smiles back
He opens the box and it's a ring with a small crown diamond
"Chris how much did this cost you" I put my hand out "doesn't matter" he slides it onto my ring finger
"How'd you do this" I look around
"I'm just really cool" he says
"I guess so" we start walking back to the hotel
7:23pm
We get back to the hotel and decide to get ready for dinner before we go
I hop in the shower and shave and all my usual shower stuff
I dry off and slide on a black silk dress I packed just in case when Chris wasn't paying attention
I dry my hair and curl it slightly
I put my ring back on and some bracelets then walk out of the bathroom
"Woah" Chris's jaw drops and he looks me up and down
"Stop" I blush and smile
Chris is wearing all black, dress pants and we go to talk to Matt and nick
"Hey were going out to dinner" Chris says
"You look gorgeous yn" nick smiles "you really do" Matt agrees and goes back to his phone
"Well talk to u guys when we get back"
We drive to olive garden and after a while we get seated and look at the menu
