Harry quitened as Violet looked at him distraught, just as she was about to say something Dj came in and said-"The helicopter is here."
She nodded at him as the two walked out of their leaving Harry alone.
The great hall was enveloped in an awkward and sad silence.
The screen showed Mac and Violet walking on the helipad. Jonas stood a few steps away staring at the open sea. Both Violet and Mac in a serious discussion as the golden trio made their way towards the helicopter. Harry stopped as he glanced back towards his sister who looked away from him.
He then glanced back to Jonas, "Harry, let's go?" Hermione said as Harry handed his bag to Ron and sprinted towards Jonas. The man frowned in confusion as Harry came towards him and took him by surprise hugging him.
Violet and Mac shared a shocked look, their eyes wide.
Harry slid down his seat at the amused expression he was getting from everyone. Jonas smiled lightly.
Harry broke the hug and said-"Thank you for saving my sister. I and my family will forever be greatful to you."
Jonas chuckled and patted his back while nodding his head. "Don't worry, she will come around. Like I said she is a powerful woman and these kinds of women are always stubborn." Jonas said as Harry snorted.
"I'm not stubborn!!" Violet yelled, the others gave her a look saying- 'yes you are'
She huffed and sat back.
Harry sat inside the helicopter looking sadly at his sister. Who just looked stone cold. Clenched jaw, cold eyes and no trace of warmth.
The helicopter flew away from the Mana hub making Violet sigh in relief ,for now.
As the screen showed the team sitting inside the meeting room again. Jonas was looking at her intently as Violet was in deep thoughts. On one hand she didn't wanted to kill it, in her mind the Meg was the most beautiful and ravishing sea creature but she couldn't ignore the fact that Meg was not supposed to be alive in this era. Human interaction will be upto no good.
"From where does a creature that big looks beautiful to you?!!" Lucius Malfoy sputtered bewildered, "You people have dragon's, you are the one to talk!!" She jabbed back earning a nod of understanding from Charlie and Hagrid.
"There is no discussion on what is to be done! That thing needs to be gone!! Do you know how much worth of property was harmed due to it!!?" Morris exclaimed, Mac was visibly tired of the continuous rant backa nd forth between Morris and Zhang.
"Violet? It's your call." Mac said as the others looked at her in anticipation.
"Please just kill it!!" Draco yelled annoyed. "Baby niece, you look stressed." Regulus was wasted. Violet shook her head and took away the glass of fire whiskey.
"No!!" Regulus whined but she shoved a sour candy in his mouth shutting him up.
She heaved a sigh and looked at Jonas, "How do we kill it?"
Violet sighed sadly and put her head on Reggys shoulder as he comforted her, still a bit tipsy.
The screen changes to Violet's room where she was getting ready. They had a plan, it has to work. A picture frame sat on her side table. Her and James Potter. A magical picture of when she first walked towards her father
She looked down with tear filled eyes recalling the last time they met.
James and Violet inhaled sharply as they looked down, no one knew what happened that day. No one.
Flashback to three years ago-
It was Violet's 23rd birthday, she was at the Potter manor. Working on her laptop when Lily Potter ne' Evans. Violet rolled her eyes at her birth giver already done with her.
"I have enough of your disrespect!! You are going to meet Edward! That's final!" Lily shrieked.
"What the hell!!? Lily what's all this about!!?" James yelled in anger, Violet furrowed her brows and said-"What do you mean? You don't know!?"
"Know what?" Sirius said in utter disdain, "Lily was trying to set me up with her cousin's son, whatever his name was." Violet said as James looked at Lily in dis-belief.
"And you didn't tell me!!!? How dare you ?!!" James yelled in anger as Lily gulped in fear that everything will be revealed. "She told me that you were dating Edward and wanted to marry him!!"
"Wait a second, she told me that you wanted this!!!" Violet fumed as James scoffed and said-"I didn't had any idea in the slightest!!"
"You can meet him if your so desperate." Violet said calmly, "Violet Lily Potter!!" "It's James, Violet James Potter!!" She said sharply.
"Okay then, do it for your father atleast!! You have given him nothing but Shame!! James thought he would have a great daughter but we ended up with you!! An abomination to my blood you are!!" She shrieked.
"How dare you!!!" James was fuming, okay that do be an understatement. "I James Fleamont Potter, the Lord to the house of Potter declares that Lily Evans is no more my Wife and grant the custody of both of my kids so mote it to be!" He said as his wand lite and Lily's Lady Potter ring was vanished from her finger. "NO!!!!! THIS IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!!!" Lily yelled leaping onto Violet but Molly grabbed her by her hair and slammed her on the ground pointing her wand at her. "Don't touch her!!" Molly Weasley roared as Violet and Harry looked at each other in dis-belief.
Their mother lied to them this whole time. Tonks' used her wand and binded Lily into a chair, putting on the silencing charm. "Who bloody removed the charm in the first place?" She said annoyed and whacked her own head to stop the ringing.
"How dare you!!!?" Violet said as tears filled her eyes. "What's going on here?" James said entering the room, "What's going on is your dear wife cannot keep herself from poking her nose in my business!" She said galring at Lily. "Don't talk to your mother like that. My office Violet, now!" James said walking into his office as Lily smirked at her.
"Finally, James will listen to me and disown you! He has been planning on doing it for a long time!" Lily said with a satisfied look. "W-What?"
"I never had the slightest intention of ever disowning my little girl! Ever!" James said as his eyes filled with tears. It was his wife the whole time who was just digging the distance between him and Violet.
He was a fool to not ever see this.
"Oh Remus didn't tell you? The three had been talking! Remus was reluctant but at last James agreed to me!" Lily said. Violet looked heart broken, they were planning to disown her?
Moony didn't tell her?
"God, have I ever hidden something from you?" Remus said as Violet just looked down. Regulus rubbed her arm as he threw a jinx at Lily smirking satisfied as Barty and Rab cackled and Lily yelled in the restraints.
Violet stormed inside James office with a look of anger. "You didn't had to act with all this formalities!! Just do it and then I never have to come back to this vile place ever!!" She yelled as James was startled thinking that she was going to never come back..
"You are not leaving!!" He yelled but Violet didn't hear the desperation in his voice.
Just now she noticed the tears of fear in her father's voice and eyes. She choked back a sob as the Black brothers comforted the Potter's.
"You never cared back then when I left at just 11??! Why do you think I would need you now!!?" She said with Venom lacing her words. "You are the worst person I have ever met!! You are not a good father!! You never loved me!!!" She yelled but a harsh pain was tugged at her right cheek. She clutched onto her cheek and looked at James who was breathing angrily.
This was the first time he raised his hands on his daughter.
"James. You didn't!!" Sirius whacked him as James just looked down. Molly gasped worried, the girl and her father both were in pain. They were both unaware that they didn't want to let go of each other.
Reggy who was still a bit tipsy, gasped loudly and said-"Aww my poor baby!"
Jonas was highly amused and sad that the bodn between father and daughter was ruined by their own mother. He did pity them. But he was really jealous when Charlie was comforting her.
He clenched his jaw and looked away. 'Bloody red heads!!'
"I-I hate you" Violet almost whispered as James looked at her in guilt and seem to realise what he just did.
Violet walked out his study and ran to her room, she packed her bag. Everything, books clothes whatever she wanted along with frame (the frame which was mentioned at the start of the story) packing everything in her duffle bag. She walked out of her room angrily as Lily was looking at her in victory.
Violet left the manor not turning back, if she did then should would have seen James looking out of his study's window. His eyes filled with tears and he sobbed crying badly watching the figure of his only daughter leave the manor.
The offscreen one were no better, crying badly James on Sirius shoulder and Violet on Regulus.
Lily smiled and lit a candle walking towards the Family tapestry to burn Violet's name.
"Don't you dare you bitch!!" Molly said anger evident in her voice. "Don't worry about it." Sirius said with a smirk.
But before she could even touch Violet's name a blast of light and she was banged on the room wall. Sirius stood their with his wand out and eyes blazing with fire. "Don't you dare!! Lily!!" He said through gritted teeths. Knowing what it was like to get disowned, he was not going to let Violet go through the same pain.
"Black!! How dare you!!?" Lily yelled in anger. "Does James know what you were going to do!!?" He asked through gritted teeth. "She ran away!! She doesn't belong in this family!! She is a Squib!!"
"Shut up!" Sirius didn't wasted a second and put on a charm at the Tapestry that only James can break and he walked out of the manor in search of his god duaghter.
"Thank you Padfoot" Jame said greatfully as Sirius blushed at the praises. "I'm proud of you" Remus said to him as the couple smiled at each other.
"Thank you so much Sirius!" Violet said hugging the older black who pulled her away from Reggy and cuddled his God-daughter like a baby.
Violet just complied, she was too soft now.
