With Barry
At the Nightclub
Ella and Barry were touring the place and Ella said, "Oh, my gosh. It looks amazing."
Barry chuckles and says "Yeah. Steve Aoki's gonna DJ right there."
Ella said, "What? How did you get Steve Aoki?"
Barry sighed and said, "I dated his sister."
Ella looks at Barry with a disgusted look and Barry says "A million years ago. A million years ago."
Ella smiles and says "Okay."
Barry sighed and said, "So will you be my date tomorrow night?"
Ella asked, "Is a club opening a proper date?"
Barry says "I certainly hope so."
Ella just smiles at Barry.
Barry asked, "Is that a yes?"
Ella says "No."
Ella then leans into kiss Barry and he kissed her back.
Ella pulled away and said, "That's a yes."
Later
In the Arrowcave
Barry, Oliver, and Tommy were walking down into the Arrowcave and Barry says "Yo." to Diggle.
Diggle said, "Hey." as he closes a window on the computer.
Diggle turns to the Archers and asks "Where you three been?"
Barry said, "I thought I'd give myself a rare morning in. But these two followed."
Barry saw the look on Diggle's face and says "Don't look at me like that. The club is opening finally. Ella and I are going on date number six tonight which is... It's significant. And, uh, I don't know. It seemed like a good day to give the bad guys a rest."
Tommy says "And I'm finally taking Felicity on a date as well. You all have been pushing it. And I'm starting to see something about her I didn't even know I liked."
Oliver said, "And I'm going on another date with McKenna Hall. Man, it's been a long road for that. And Barry's right. It's time to take a break, and let the bad guy's have a day off."
Diggle says "Well, it's the bad girls that I'm worried about." as he turns to the computer and pulls up security camera footage of a murder at a strip club, with Helena as the main suspect.
Barry lost his smile and said, "Helena."
Diggle says "Yes, or as I like to call her... your psycho ex-girlfriend. This was taken at Alley Cats, the strip joint. The police report lists the stiff's name as Gus Sabatoni."
Barry said, "That's Bertinelli's lawyer. Why would she come back just to Starling City for him? Not like he did a good job. Her father's serving consecutive life sentences without parole."
Diggle turns to the brothers and says "Come on, Barry, we both knew this was just a matter of time. Even they knew it was." pointing at Tommy and Oliver.
Diggle got up and said, "You tried to help her, you couldn't. Now the only question is how long before she drops a dime on you... your brothers... me, this whole operation."
Barry nods and says "Okay. I want you to get in touch with our contacts in the Bratva. Talk to anyone on the street, figure out where Helena is, why she's back."
Diggle nods and says "Okay, but Barry--"
Barry was walking away and he turned back and said, "Dig, if she's here, she's here for a reason. If that's not Frank Bertinelli, we need to know what she has planned."
Diggle nodded and said, "Okay."
Then Barry, Oliver, and Tommy left the Arrowcave.
At the Queen Mansion
Barry, Oliver, and Tommy walk in to visit their mother.
Barry and the others hear a laugh and Barry asks "Speedy?"
Thea shouted, "Oh, we're in here."
The boy's walk into the living room to see Thea and another girl.
Thea says "Look who's back."
Barry saw the girl turn to him and he saw Helena smiling at him.
Thea said, "She was just telling me about your guys' first date at Russo's."
Helena says "Hello, Barry."
Barry puts on a fake smile as does Oliver and Tommy.
Thea asks "Barr, I knid of have this pseudo friend that's look for a job. I was wondering if the club's still hiring?"
Barry said, "Yes. Of course. Why don't you go somewhere with Tommy and talk to him. As a matter of fact, you can go upstairs with him and talk about it right now."
Thea smiled and said, "Great. You three rock." as Tommy and Thea walk out.
Then Tommy mouths to Barry 'Check her' pointing at her.
Barry turns to Helena and asks "Where have you been?"
Helena said, "Um..." as Barry walks past her, then when he looks at her she says "Barcelona. Monaco. Budapest. I just needed to forget who I was. And how much I missed you."
Barry asked, "Do you mean like you missed Gus Sabatoni? I thought you were done with your father's organization, Helena. Because's he's serving consecutive life sentences in Iron Heights prison. You got your revenge."
Helena says "He just cut a deal with the Justice Department... to testify against the East Coast Family. In 48 hours, Witness Protection will give him a new name, a new life... and he'll be off the grid forever, untraceable."
Barry said, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
Helena says "My father doesn't deserve a second chance, a second life. And I can't take on a phalanx of U.S. Marshals. Not without help."
Barry quickly says "No. That's murder. It's not justice."
Moira walks in and saw the boys and says "Oh, there you are. I have a question about your opening tonight."
Moira saw Helena when she turns around to face her and says "Hello."
Helena said, "Hi."
Moira asks "Barry, who is your friend?"
Barry realized they never met and said, "Oh. Mom, this is Helena. Helena, this is my mother."
Barry saw the women shake hands as Helena says "Hi. Nice to meet you."
Barry says "Helena was just leaving."
Helena quickly said, "Yes. I have a family engagement."
Barry says "Excuse us for a minute."
Moira says "Of course. I'll just talk with Oliver then."
Barry nods as he leads Helena away from his mother.
Barry whispers "Helena, I've missed you. I have. God, I want to be with you. But I know you don't trust me, but I can't help you do what you want. I mean, I stopped killing, I..."
Helena says "Barry, I guess I just have to be more persuasive. Fortunately, you have a family too. And I've missed you as well, Barr. I love you." as she left a kiss on his cheek and left.
Barry let out a heavy sigh, as a tear rolls down his cheek, she admitted she loved him, but threated to use his family to get him to help her.
Barry knew he doesn't know what to do.
At Verdant
Barry had gathered Diggle with Tommy and Oliver and says "She was in my mother's house. She made a not-so-veiled threat. I want extra secuirty around my mother and sister."
Diggle was texting on his phone as he says "Way ahead of you, man."
Barry said, "Thank you."
Diggle says "It's my job." as he was calling someone.
Barry says "For not saying 'I told you so'."
Diggle was about to walk off and stops and looks at Barry and says "Night's young."
Barry looked at Tommy and said, "Hey, man. Could you go bring up so bottles from the storage room. We need to stock our shelves at the bar."
Tommy says "I was already ahead of you." as he sets a crate with beer and wine.
Barry smiles and says "Thanks."
Tommy said, "No problem. I'm just glad you're doing everything in a different way. Even our night job."
Barry chuckled at that.
And Tommy left to grab more.
Barry started to think that it was a good idea to tell him, and he was glad to not have to know what Tommy would have thought of him if he didn't tell him, and he found out by chance.
Later
The club was packed as people were dancing, and cheering for the DJ.
Barry, Tommy, and Oliver were gathered with Moira and Thea as Moira makes a toast as she says "To Verdant. I know I haven't always been supportive of this venture... but I have to admit this nightclub is quite an accomplishment. I'm proud of you, Barry. Your fathers Henry and Robert would be too."
Ella and McKenna smile at Moira, as Barry says "Thank you."
Thea said, "Yeah, congratulations, Barr. Your club doesn't totally suck."
Barry says "Thanks, Speedy. Thank you very much, all of you, for coming. Even Oliver, who isn't really apart of this business."
Oliver said, "I am. Some what. I helped Tommy manage a little."
Everyone laughs at that, as they drink their drinks.
Then Felicity walks over to Tommy and says "Hey, There you are. This place is amazing. I'm so proud of you and Barry."
Tommy smiled and said, "Thanks, Felicity. And thank you for being my date for the opening."
Then everyone got drinks and did another toast.
Ella walks off to the bathroom, and then Barry had noticed it's been a while, and Barry decided to go downstairs to check on the cave.
In the Arrowcave
Barry was walking down and said, "Dig?" then he stops in place.
Barry saw Helena holding Ella down against the desk with her bending Ella's arm the other way.
Barry said, "Let her go. She has nothing to do with this."
Helena says "Really? I warned you, Barr. I did it cause I love you."
Barry shouts "Helena, this isn't you. I love you too, but let her go."
Helena asks "For? So you can continue to replace me with her?"
Barry said, "I didn't replace you. You left me. Cause You were mad that your father went to jail instead of being 6 foot-under. "
Helena says "My father is a modster and a murderer. It is not like you haven't killed men like that before."
Barry quickly answers, "And I tried to teach you to obtain your objective without killing."
Helena interrupts "By applying leverage. By exploiting someone's weakness." then she pushes up on Ella's arm and Ella screams.
Barry was having a hard time deciding what to do.
He couldn't let anything happen to Ella, she is the mother of his child.
Then a voice could be heard saying, "Barr? You down here? It's Tommy and Oliver. We're coming down, if you're here."
Helena said, "There is a whole club full of leverafe above our heads right now, and two coming down the stairs. Please. Barry, don't make me do something that both of us will regret."
Barry gave in as he says "Okay. Okay, I-- You win. I'll help you. Let her go. Let her go. If you ever loved me, you'll let her go right now."
Helena let's go as Ella screams in pain., as she holds her hand close.
Then all the people in the room heard was people rushing down the stairs/
Barry quickly goes to Ella and asks "Are you okay?"
Ella nods slowly as tears were seen going down her face.
Barry said, "Ella, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry this happened."
Ella says "Honey..." as she wipes tears from Barry's face and continues to say "It's okay. Just don't over do it. I'm gonna go home. And hold our baby."
Barry nods.
Ella leaves and Oliver and Tommy see who's down there and they looked pissed as Ella passed them.
Later
Diggle, Tommy, Oliver, and Barry were gathered waiting for Helena.
Barry points at Diggle and says "Don't say it."
Diggle said, "Okay. Then let's talk about Helena."
Barry and the boys walk over, as Diggle sits down and says "Barry, if you didn't have feelings for this girl, you would have a different solution... than letting her extort you into killing someone."
Barry asked, "What do you want me to do? You want me to kill her?"
Diggle said, "I think you would have a long time ago... if she looked like me instead of the T-Moblie girl. She's a stone-cold killer, Barry."
Barry says "She's not evil. And I couldn't just let her hurt the mother of my daughter, Diggle. She's been lost since her father killed her fiance in cold blood. And are you gonna sit there... and tell me that you don't know what it's like to want revenge? What would you do, hmm? If Floyd Lawton was standing right there?" pointing at the empty space.
Diggle says "Nothing that would involve blackmailing you into hunting him down."
Barry nods and says "You're right, Okay? I can't kill her. And I can't take her to the police and risk her exposing all of this. But at least if I'm involived, I can contain her, all right? I can minimize the collateral damage. That and I'm helping her to see, if I can bring back the woman I fell in love with."
Then they all heard footsteps and they turn to see Helena as she says "Sorry, am I interrupting something?"
Tommy gives a fake smile and says "We were just talking about you. And how you blackmailed my brother, by using the woman who is the mother of his child to make him comply."
Helena looks at Oliver, Tommy, and Diggle and says "And here I thought you three didn't care much for me."
Diggle said, "Still don't."
Barry says "I haven't been able to locate the safe house where the FBI is keeping your father."
Then a voice says "I can help."
The team and Helena turn to see Felicity as she continues to say "I've been dying to hack into the DBI's security system."
Tommy said, "Get out. Get out. This is a private thing, Felicity. Please."
Felicity looks at Tommy who nods to her and says "Oh. Okay. See you. I guess." as she looks at Helena.
Then Felicity leaves, and Helena looks at Barry and asks "How many girlfriends do you have exactly?"
Barry said, "She's not my girlfriend. You hurt my girlfriend earlier. That is Tommy's. And if you do anything to her, I swear, I will put in an arrow in your shoulder for even thinking about hurting her."
Barry looks into Helena's eyes and says "And like I said, we don't know where the safe house is. What we do know is that the Marshall service is taking your father... to a hearing at the Justice Department tonight. There's a problem, Helena. There are two vans. And one of them's a decoy."
Helena said, "Well, I guess it's a good thing there's four of us."
Barry says "It's not too late to call this off."
Helena saays "You know me better than that, handsome."
Barry then hears more footsteps and sees Dawn walking down and says "Daddy? Why aren't you home?"
Barry said, "No. Dawn, please go home. Okay? Please."
Dawn nods and walks back upstairs as she says "Okay. I love you." with a hint of sadness in her voice.
Barry hated doing that, but he didn't trust Helena with Dawn.
Helena says "So... you really are a father. Fatherhood suits you. But can we talk in private, please?"
Barry and Helena walk away from the group and Helena says "Look, it's been 5 months since I left, and..." then she lifts her shirt up, and Barry sees a small bump on her stomach.
Helena said, "I'm pregnant with our baby." then she puts her shirt back down over her stomach, and Barry was shocked.
Barrry says "What?" with a hint of confusion in his voice.
Helena says "I guess that's why I was made and said you replaced me with that girl. I'm sorry. But I don't think I can give birth to our child if my father is still alive. He needs to go so that I know our baby is safe."
Barry puts both of his arms on his neck, as now he was thinking of her as the mother of their child.
Barry looks at her and says "How dare you. You wanna put our child at risk, just to kill your father? What if something happens to them? What if you get hurt, and I couldn't save you? Now, you're not going out there tonight. You're 5 months pregnant and you've been killing people like this?"
Helena says "But, Barry, I..."
Barry interrupts "But, Barry, nothing. You are not putting our baby at risk, because you wanna kill your father. If I have to, I'll put the three arrows in his chest myself, so you don't have to get hurt."
Helena asks "You would?"
Barry nods.
Helena kissed Barry, amd Barry couldn't help but kiss her back.
The team saw that and wondered what was going on.Barry walks over to the group and says "Change of plans. I'm putting arrows in Bertelli."
Tommy says "No. You're not. If psycho lady wants to get herself killed, I say let her go for it."
Barry said, "I can't let her do that."
Tommy asked, "And why not?"
Barry shouts "Cause she is the mother of my unborn child."
The team looks at Barry shocked.
Tommy looks at Helena and says "You ungrateful bitch. How dare you make him do this. How dare you make him put his soul on the line to keep you safe, because he knows your pregnant."
Tommy left as Diggle and Oliver watched Tommy leave.
Barry looks at Oliver, and Oliver says "If you need me to cover the other truck, I'll do it. And I'll let you know if it's Bertelli or not."
Helena said, "And I'm backup just in case."
Barry looks at her and she shakes her head to let him know she won't change her mind.
Later
Barry was dressed as Arrow.
He was going to check on Oliver, but when he pulled up, he saw Huntress being arrested.
Barry said, "Damn it."
He then takes off away from the scene.
Later
At the SCPD
Arrow came in to get the Huntress after shutting the power off.
Arrow walked into the interrogation room, with a gas mask, and he uncuffs, Huntress, and they left the room.
Then Arrow heard Lance shout "Freeze!"
Arrow then fired a tranq in Lance's neck.
Later
In an Alley
Helena says "Thanks for the save."
Barry said, "I couldn't risk you telling the police about me."
Helena asked, "Is that the only reason? Why can't you just admit that you still have feelings fo me too?"
Barry says "Because... If I admit that... Then I'll be making myself weak every single time you walk into my life. And yes, that wasn't the only reason I came to get you. You're pregnant with my child. Our Child, and I couldn't just let you rot in there."
Helena cups Barry's cheek and says "I'll always love you, Bartholomew. Even if we don't agree on much. And I'll always love our child, cause we made them together out of love and fear."
Barry nodded and said, "I'll always love them too. And I'll always love you too. But, here."
Barry unzips his leather jacket and pulls out papers, then zips up his jacket.
He holds the papers out, and Helena asks "What is it?"
Barry said, "A plane ticket to Rome and a passport... so you can start a new life somewhere else, while I'll kill your father. The police know you're tracking your father, Helena. You'll never find him, even if you weren't pregnant. So, please... get out of my city."
Helena grabs the paper, and Barry says "I'll kill him. But I need to know that you and the baby are safe. So, please... go."
Helena said, "Bye, Barry. I love you."
Barry says "I love you both."
They share a kiss, then Barry watched Helena leave.
At night
Barry had searched where to find Helena's dad, Bertelli.
He had suited up.
At the safe house
Arrow showed up, as he put arrows into 3 guards outside, but not where it can kill them.
Then he took out 2 guards on the first floor, as he quickly fired the 2 arrows.
Then he moved upstairs, and quickly fired 3 arrows at 3 guards.
He kicked open a door to see Bertelli trying to escape through the window.
Arrow said, "Frank Bertelli... you have failed your daughter and unborn grandchild."
Arrow quickly fired 3 arrows into his chest grouping them not to far apart.
Arrow sighs and he leaves after putting one more arrow in his chest.
Once Arrow got outside, Arrow got stopped by someone yelling "Freeze!"
Arrow turns to see McKenna.
She says "Put down your bow and hands in the air. Now!"
Arrow said, "Detective, please. I don't want to hurt you. So Let me walk. Or, I'll have to do something I'll regret later."
McKenna cocked her gun and says "Bow on the ground."
Arrow sighed and went to put his bow down, and then he quickly turns to her and threw a flechette at her gun to knock it out of her hands, it did just that, and he quickly grabbed his bow and ran off.
The Next day
At the Arrowcave
Barry explained what happened yesterday, and everyone agreed to not speak of it again, then they went to plan the nightclub for tonight's.
