And ofcourse I am that rainy weather romance freak.
Felt single for the 100th time while writing this
So let's start the chapter

Monami woke up early today, and seeing him sleeping peace she smiled and kissed his cheek
Slowly removing his hands from her waist she carefully stood up from the bed without disturbing him
She closed the curtains and put his phone on silent so that he can sleep as long as he want to, and she went to washroom.
When she came back after taking a bath Karan was not in the room, she took out her phone and saw a message from his
Karan: I am working out in the gym area, come here if you miss me
She smiled and went to the gym area
As soon she entered the room she saw him doing pull-ups. Shirtless.
She went near him, she was facing his back
K: Just a minute
Monami startled but hummed and sat on the couch at the corner
After completing his workout he sat beside her
K: Morning, sunshine
M: Good morning
K: Sleep well
Monami nodded
K: Tumhe mera office kaafi pasand hai na??
M: Haan, because sab kuch kaafi familiar hai meri studies se toh maza aata hai sabko kaam karte dekh kar
K: Okay, so chalo Aaj tum bhi mere saath
M: Sachhi???
She jumped from the coach and smiled widely in amusement
K: First time toh nahi aa rahi
M: Par first time jab aayi thi tab bhi dhyaan nahi diya aur dusri baar thoda sa dekha tha office but uncle, chhodo so basically mene ek baar bhi dhang se tumhara office yah waha ka kaam nahi dekha
K: Ok toh tum jab ready ho jaao tab bata dena
M: Ok
And she literally ran from there in excitement
K: pagal ladki
Karan went to take bath
After getting ready he went downstairs waiting for Monami
After 10 minutes Monami came downstairs, Karan looked at from top to bottom, he startled looking at her.
Monami chuckled looking at his reaction
Monami's outfit
M: Office you know
K: Yeah right, chalo
He walked ahead and Monami made a pout, after sensing that she's not coming he turned to see her
K: Kya hua ab?
M: How unromantic you are mister husband
K: Am I?
He smirked and pulled her closer, he kissed her pout and hold her palm
K: Ab theek hai?
She looked away to hide her shy face and nodded
They went to his office and entered Karan's cabin
M: Our first kiss, remember?
K: Woh pura din hi nahi bhul sakta main
Monami stood on toes and pecked her lips on his lips. She pulled back and smiled
Everything was going smoothly
They were working together, they ate lunch together.
Monami was scolding Karan for talking rudely with the staff
The whole office was shocked to see Karan smiling and following someone else's order.
At evening they sat in his car to drive back home
In their way back to home.....
It's started raining cats and dogs (childhood phrases<3)
Monami started sweating and breathing heavily
Karan stopped the car remove his coat and get out of the car
Monami didn't felt it because her eyes were closed due to anxiety
He opened her side of the door and undone her seatbelt
Monami looked at him with questioning eyes
K: Tum mujhpe trust karti ho??
She didn't said anything just gave him a slight nod
K: Toh chalo mere saath
M: Kar..an mai..main wo..woh
K: Relax Monami main tumhare saath hi rahunga na? Toh kis cheez se darna hai
He forwarded his hand for her to take it and she placed her hand in his hand and get down the car
She fisted karan's shirt in fear
Karan went ahead and opened his arms to feel the wind and rain
Monami too went near him
Rain drops touched her skin and she closed her eyes to feel it
A smile formed on her face and looked at Karan with her eyes almost turned red due to rain water in her eyes.
He smiled and pulled her in his arms
K: Kaisa lag raha hai?
M: Bohot acha
Monami pulled back and started twirling
She moved her gaze back to Karan but he was not there
She turned back and saw Karan knelt in front of her on of his knees
Monami's eyes got widened when he pulled out a small box from his pocket and opened it
A ring.
K: Tumne pucha tha na ek baar ki main tumhe sunshine kyu bulata hu? Because my world was filled with dark only, but you Monami, you are the light to my dark, sunshine. Tum meri life mein ek light ki ray banke aayi jo sirf sahi path dikhata hai mujhe. Maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki main kabhi bhi kisi se bhi pyaar kar paaunga yah more importantly koi meri itni care karega yah mujh jaise ladke se pyaar karega, but you did. In every possible ways that melted my heart to the level that I am here now. I love you Monami I love you so much that I am scared that I won't be even able to live without you for a single day. And I know iss proposal ka koi practically sense nahi Banta as we are already married but woh shaadi na meri marzi se hui thi na hi tumhare, kisi ne tumse tumhari marzi nahi puchi thi but Aaj I want to ask you will be with me for the rest of our lives? Are you ready to tolerate me forever?
Monami's eyes filled with tears
She sobbed and whispered slowly
"Yes I will"
Karan extended his left hand and she placed her palm on his hand, he slid ring in her hand and stood up
She hugged him and he too reciprocated
K: Dance?
Monami nodded with a small smile
He took her hand and twirled her into his arms

They fell in step, letting the rhythm control their movements. All the scenery and rain around us dissolved. It was him and her, alone.
Her hazel brown eyes glistened, and a smile spread across her beautiful face.

Surmaiye shaam aati
Uncontrollable feelings surged through his body, and his fingers tingles in delight. His hand brushed across her cheek. His body was acting on its own, no chains to hold him back from this pure paradise.

He drew her close to his chest, and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Her dark brown locks fell over her eyes, like a curtain blocking out the sunlight. He desired to see those hazel brown eyes.

She began to withdraw her hand to brush away her hair, but Karan's hand clutched onto hers. He carefully laid her thin hand on my shoulder and delicately tucked her lock behind her ear, and her hazel eyes twinkled back at him in greeting.
Her lips went to his ear as she whispered ever so softly.
“You know how to be romantic.”

She set her head on his shoulder. They continued to dance, too lost in the music to halt. Time passed as their feet moved in the steps of the foxtrot.

She brought her head up and sleepily opened her eyes. She leaned in and planted her lip on his. He wrapped his arms around her neck in return and held her tight as the kiss continued.
