KATES POV:

My mom grins and sees me and Alexander in the house before returning to her gossiping.
After showering I walk to the kitchen and make some hot chocolate-flavoured coffee. As I sit on my bed I suddenly remember that I haven't written my poem yet! I sprint to my desk and take out my file organiser and look for my planning.
Turns out I never even made any plans, plus it is due two days from now before the school camp! I take a sip of my coffee and hold my head in worry. "Tomorrow is Sunday, and I'm hundred percent sure my mom will not allow me to work on a Sunday." I talk to myself totally ferocious with myself.
I don't know if I should call it a miracle or just a coincidence. An idea pops in my head just when in taught of giving up.
"Ah ha ! I can just write about my friends" I say opening my notebook. "Planning on writing about me huh ?" I almost fall of my chair at the sound of Alexander's deep demoniac voice. "Hum w-what are you d-doing here ? Is knocking not taught in England?" I struggle to regain my balance on the chair while mr jerk chuckles at my embarrassment. "Why should I nock ? The door was wide open! And plus you're talking so loud so I was curious." I glare at him as he sits on the stool next to my chair. "Hmm so your writing about Michael and Nate ? What about me? Huh ?" I click my tongue giving him a side eye and ignoring his face.
"For the record, it's non of your business. Plus I'm doing anything to finish this poem before tomorrow."
"Silly Kate, the poem is only due next week ." I stare at him, trying to not melt of embarrassment as I come to realise that he's actually 100% right.
"Hum- hmm. Of course I knew that!" I Stand up from my desk,walking to my bed when I bump my little toe on the corner of my dresser table. "Are you alright?" Alexander asked holding his laugh. I click my tongue and curse him in my head taking it so personal. Alexander starts laughing at my agony and I loose it. I throw a pillow at him. "Get out ! You jerk!" Alexander still laughing leaves my room. "Jeez ! He's ten times more annoying than Jonny!"
After falling asleep with pain I wake up the next morning with a headache. "Ma!! Do you know where's them painkillers?!" I call out to my mother, eyes still closed. "Get them yourself will you? Tsk when I was your age I never spoke to my mother like that-" "ay Dios! los niños de hoy en día !" I finish her sentence and stand up to get the painkillers myself. "Hey you good you?" Alexander looks at me from the kitchen countertop while chopping up something there I really don't even care. I glare him giving the 'leave me alone' glare.
"¡Ay! Tío just let the girl be. Wanna play video games after breakfast ?" Jonny smiles at Alexander while eating his chicken wings. After a while I head to bathroom and- "Ah why now ?!?" Yup out off the times in the world my periods chose now . When there are zero pads and obviously no tampons. I sit there on the toilet trying to sort out my life for the past five minutes. ( dad is out, mom went to the other side of town to visit her friend and Jonny is at the tech store.) which brings me to Alexander who is sitting in the backyard. "AHHH !!!' Why's life so hard los dioses!?"
After another five minutes in the bathroom I decide to take matters into my own hands. I wrap toilet paper around my underwear and grab any black sweatpants I could find in the bathroom closet. I run to the nearest convenient store and buy some sanitary pads. Running back from the store I spot Michael talking with Alexander. And surprisingly about me ?! "Bro what happened? I just saw Kate running pass my house like she saw a ghost !" Michael scratches the back of his neck. "I don't know mate ? Maybe she went to see a mental health hospital, cause I think that's what she needs right now . She's been mean to me all morning completely ignoring me. To top up everything, I did nothing to her!" (Oh you just did !) I storm forward holding no shame as a give Alexander the smack of his life.
*SLAPS*
Michael stares at me in shock so does Alexander, holding his cheek in pain. "Now you gave me a reason to go to a mental hospital. Mxm idiota!"
I walk pass him going inside the house and heading straight to the bathroom to put on my pad. After taking another shower, I feel more relaxed and decide to read a book on wattpad. (The name of the book is called CHAINED TO THE MAFIA by maya_lara1.) with a hot water bottle on my stomach and the television on, I read my book not caring about anything else.
Two hours later...
I find myself lying on my bed, and Alexander was sleeping on my desk chair, head placed on the corner of my bed. I look at my clothes.( nothing seems to have changed.) when I stand up , I suddenly get the urge to sneeze and (yup the Pacific Ocean just flooded .) Alexander wakes up looking up at me. "You're awake ! I thought you were dying!" I click my tongue at him. "Why would I be dying?" I get up and stop midway. "Because of that ." Alexander points at the big red spot on my bed and I touch the bridge of my nose and hold the urge to give him a RKO .
"Well ?! Out of my room!!"(pervent) he jogs out avoiding a flying pillow. I get up and change my bed sheets and go on to shower. The cramps getting worse and my temper mirroring .
I stay in my room for the rest of the day, watching Netflix and eating popcorn with vinegar. "Kaykay? What's for lunch ?!" My brother yell from his room to mine. "Jonny go buy some French fries or a packet of chips or something, leave me alone ! You're always bothering me when I don't want to be bothered ! You're really telling me that you can't help yourself ? Now shut up and leave me alone !" Jonathan went completely silent totally understanding my situation, but mr jerk there couldn't even pick up a sign!
The next day at school I try my best to keep my temper. "Right kiddos, After you have finished writing your poems and have handed them in, The physical education teacher will take y'all to camp for 3 days." Madam Goodwill hands out some forms for our parents to fill. "Geez Maya! We need to go shopping for some three-day night in the wild , don't you think?" Jessica plays with Mayas hair while talking like the pick-me she is.
After writing my poem I read it a few more times before finally agreeing with myself. At dinner mom looks at me then at Alexander while Jonny grins at me from across the table. "Hum thank you ma the food was delicious as always!" I grab my tray and bring it to the sink . "So are you not going to tell me about you and Alex?" (What was she saying ?!) "hum ma, there's nothing between us we're just getting to know each other." I wipe my hands after washing my plate . "I'll find out . Soon or after." She sits on the sofa remote control in hand.
"So you really don't see anything between us ? Not even a spark ?" Alexander leans on the wall near the kitchen exit. "If I ever saw that spark , I would've made sure to sprinkle water on it." I walk pass his tall figure,not even ashamed of my response. "I doubt that." I glare at him then proceed with my things.
Around 4pm we're gathered around the coffee table in the living room, playing monopoly. Jonny is still so good at the game and Das is doing a great job. Alexander was sitting on the chair next to my mom -learning- how to play the game. After like two rounds of -learning- Alexander finally joins in to play with us. (Weird how somebody grew up without knowing Monopoly!)
I role the dice and get a '6' at first try and role again to start the game. I get a three this time and more three blocks forward. After me it's Jonathan and also gets a six on his first attempt. Then my mother misses a six that sadly flipped to five and when it was Alexander's turn he looked at me and grinned. Not any type of grin. I'm hundred percent sure it was a -I'm targeting you- grin and I'm not joking!
He made me go to jail, made me pay almost half of the properties in the game plus Jonathan teamed up with him when he bought the 'Mayfair' that I landed on and since I didn't have money -because of Alexander!- I went to jail . Mom and dad gave up long ago while me (a fool) tried to beat these too baboons!
After losing with flying colours, I turn in for the night. I was about to reach the doorknob of my bedroom door, when I hear my name being called in a very soft voice . "Are you angry that I won ?" Alexander places his hands on his hips . "Well you're a fast leaner I have to say, and you really took me off guard, but nope I'm not angry (not)" I smile then open my room . "Good night Alexander" I mini-wave at him before closing the door
Alexander walks back to his room after whispering a "Goodnight Kate" that I obviously heard . The next morning, mom is awake unusually early moving around in the house from her room. I just let her do her things and head to the bathroom. When I'm finished getting ready I hear a knock on the door. "Kate come on, speed up. Girls these days." Jonathan knocks again. "Ay! I'm coming out chill chicken !" I yell at him.
I head back to my room to get dressed for school. I walk out to throw the trash when I'm greeted by a black car parked in front of the fence. "Hey sorry, but you can't park here ." I try to see the person in the black car and wait- (MILES?!) "sup baby girl, I'm here to pick you up for school today" he winks at me as he gets out of the car. "No, I'm not going anywhere with you." I turn around to head back to the house when suddenly he takes hold of my wrist. "I'm not taking no for an answer baby girl ." He pulls me towards the car while I'm wrestling for my dear life . "Alexander!! Help!!" I shout out as I see Alexander walking pass the door through the open window. "Kate? KATE!" He rushes to get me but it's too late, this psycho placed me in his car and locked the door and took off. "Agh damn it ! I was supposed to avoid this !" Alexander knocked on Michael's door and together started looking for me.
Min while Miles is still holding me hostage in his car. "Why are you not happy? You should be squealing and all over me like a normal girl would." Miles stops at a red light . "No I don't scream for no man, definitely not when that man is you." I glare at him from the backseat. "Just like I like them hot and spicy." Miles looks at through the mirror on the rearview mirror. "Shut up idiota! You should be ashamed of yourself for kidnaps fellow classmate even though I don't like you!" Miles chuckles and keeps on driving until we reach school.
When I come out of Miles car, all eyes are on us -me-. I can hear people talking about me this one girl even said "she finally sees the bigger picture! I never understood what she saw in Michael or Nate ?!" So what ? Huh so what !
I start walking faster leaving Miles behind.
"Kate !" I turn to see Alexander, Michael and Nate in Alexander 's car. Alexander basically flys out of the car running to me and picks me up in a tight hug and spins me before placing me back down. "Thank God you're okay !" Nate says hugging me next . "That immature chicken thinks he can just grab you like that !? He got me worried ! That son of a bi-" I place my hand on Michael's mouth to stop him from swearing on school grounds. He turn a little red after I put my hands down. "I'm so glad y'all came all the way here at this time ! And how did y'all find me so quick !?" I look from Nate to Michael to Alexander who's looking at Michael, who's looking at Nate . "Huh well we huh- we tracked you using you're bracelet." Alexander finally speaks.
I stare at them all totally dumbfounded. THEY DID WHAT ?!
Nate looks ashamed at least but I wouldn't say the same for Alexander and Michael. They surprisingly look proud of such an illegal behaviour !
When the bell rings we run to class leaving Miles and his other minions.
Then I realise—(I DON'T HAVE MY BAG!) . I start panicking and moving freakily on my desk. Madam Goodwill notices me and calls out. "Kate dear, what's the matter?" I swallow . "Madam Goodwill, I huh- kinda forgot my bag at home this morning." As soon as I finish talking Jessica grins. "On guys did y'all hear that? Y'all did right ? Miss perfect isn't so perfect after all. Bahahaha" she laughs like when a guitar string brakes. "No Jessica. That's no acceptable behaviour in my class." Jessica stops but still grins at me. (Noo)
At lunch I call my father, ask him if he could drop my bag at his lunchtime and he agreed. During brake there were still rumours about me and Miles dating but that was not even bad, what was bad was that Miles told the people those lies! HIMSELF!
After school Alexander approaches me with a brown paper bag. "Hey are you okay ?" He asked ruffling my hair. "I'm fine I just wanna go home." I hug him but I feel he's body tense up so I back up. Suddenly he hugs me back. "You're cold" he says. "Yeah" I answer back.
