Chapter thirteen

POV of Felix
Seeing Morgan like this was really hard for deep in me I was blaming myself because am they one that proposed her to come for this adventure. Lily and Noah came to call for me and Morgan to present us to their parents. Even though Morgan was not really fine but we just had to go as a sign of respect. Lily présent to us to her family they thank us from bringing back their children safely and they asked us if there is anything they can do for us. I really wanted to ask about the book of life but I left again because the propriety was for Jason to be fine. They brought us food that we ate. Justin and Nina were really good people
Félix: please can I ask a question
Justin: of course
Félix: why are you people staying in the forest??
Justin: that's really a good question that even me I couldn't reply
Nina: many years ago our ancestors were looking for a fertile land to settle and they found this place
Justin: as years passed the forest became too dangerous and this is how we were stuck in here for thousands of years
Nina: we just made barriers to separate the forest and our village.
Morgan: and they is no way you guys can get out of here
Justin: legends says  that a day will come when an alpha will come to our rescue and will safe this village
Nina: legends also says that the alpha will come in any form and during a full moon her eyes will turn white and shining light will come all over her body.
After hearing Justin's and Nina's  story I and Morgan went to sleep where they villagers gave us a room. They night will surely be long.......
POV of Morgan
After a very long night I got up took a bath and I decided to go and check on Jason, when I reached he was lying restless I asked the village healer if there were chances for him to recover she said yes that he was already fine but he just had to rest again. She told me to stop whatever am trying to do I was confuse and I asked her what she was trying to say
Healer: I know you guys are going in search of the book of life but I will advice you to return as you came
Morgan: our parents are death and we are trying to bring them back
Healer: but just know that as your crossing this village your chances to get back alive is very low
Deep in me I knew she was telling the truth but I just had to do it because they were my parents. After discussing with the healer I went back to the house we spent the night, Felix was already up he was helping Justin to break firewood and I decided to go and help Nina to make breakfast.
POV of Jason
After two days sleeping I was finally up, my sickness really slow us down. This was already the fifth day of our journey and it seems that we were not even near of our objectif. I thanked the village healer for her help and I asked her where I could find Morgan and Felix and she guide me on how to do about it. I thanked her again and I left
When I reached the place I saw Felix outside breaking wood I approach him and he was very happy to see me and asked if I was okay already. Morgan heard my voice and she came and embrace me.
Morgan: never frightened me again like this
Jason: it depends
Morgan: just stop joking we were really worried.
She presented me to Justin and Nina they were really good people, we all ate breakfast and discuss about anything.
After eating Felix called for I and Morgan to discuss on our adventure
Félix: since Jason is already fine by tomorrow we need to continue the journey
Morgan: that's true
Jason: why not today?
Morgan: you're just from recovering from your sickness so you need rest again
Jason: okay
Félix: Jason where is the map?
Morgan: this is it
Félix: from the map we can see clearly that we have a long way to go
Jason: we still have to pass the lion's refuge, the palace of the beast, the curse bridge, the village of fées, and finally the evil forest
Morgan: we really need to armed ourselves because it will not be easy
Félix: let's go and see the village healer for her help
Morgan: she told me clearly to stop whatever we are trying to do
Jason: but we should look for a way.
After discussing for more than one hour we finally fell asleep.
