THIRD PERSON
"Ma'am halika ka na po, sa police station tayo mag-usap para mas madali naming mahanap yung suspect" police to Caitlin
"Where's Bea? I need to see her" Cait
"Hindi po namin siya kasama" police
"No! She's all I want to see!" Cait
"Hindi na po siya nacocontact, siya nalang daw po mismo cocontact samin mamaya" police
"Ok fine, then I'm leaving" Caitlin at pinaandar na ang kotse then iniwan nalang ang mga police
"Aaaahhhh!" Caitlin shouts as she cries while driving, knowing na nalaman niya mismo kay Bea na mag ppropose siya kay Jho
JHOANA
Nandito kami sa rooftop ng isang restaurant at ang ganda ng ambiance dito, very calming
"Flowers for my beautiful lady" Bea handed me a bouquet of sunflowers
Lord ang papi ng Beatriz ko. Naka longsleeves polo siya paired with black trousers, ang simple lang pero ang lakas ng dating
"Bakit ka nandito? Carly, akala ko ba ililibre mo lang ako ng dinner?" tanong ko kay Carly na kilig na kilig sa likod ko
"Wag na maraming tanong. Focus ka sa future mo" Carly
Then hinawakan ako ni Bea sa waist at maingat na dinala sa gitna
"Ano ba trip mo, Beatriz"
"Ikaw" Bea wiggled her brows
Nung nasa gitna na kami, nakatingin lang siya sa'kin habang nakangiti
"Ano baaa ang weird mo"
Then nakita ko nalang bigla na unti unting nagsilabasan ang both families namin
"Ma, Pa? Bakit kayo nandito?" tanong ko pero nag nod lang si papa tapos si mama naman parang kinikilig
"Babe, in front of our families. *Bea took a deep breath* I ask you, can you be my girlfriend?" Bea held my other hand since hawak ko yung bouquet
"Oo naman" mabilis kong sagot
"Ayieeeee" Deanna
Bea and I chuckled, kulit ni Deanna eh
"Next question. Babe, can you be my ex girlfriend?" natatawang tanong ni Bea
"Ano? Ok basta wag ka nang magpapaki-" I was cut off
"And ask you to be my bride?" Bea
Grabe nagulat ako sa sinabi niya. Nang bitawan niya ang kamay ko, lumuhod siya gamit ang isang tuhod niya. Tapos may kinuha siya sa bulsa niya at binuksan yung small box sa harap ko, it's a ring
"We went through different challenges Jho, and none of us lost our love despite the times when we parted ways. Ilang beses ko nang napatunayan that you are the one for me and I hope you are too. I promise to love you forever, and I will never forget our little angel, Chloe. Jhoana, the mother of my child and my one true love, will you marry me?" Bea
"Yes na yan!" papa John shouts na ikinatawa namin
"Mabait yang anak ko, Jho anak! Hindi ka magsisisi!" tito Elmer shouts too
"Oh yes daw, edi yes" sabi ko kay Bea
"Yes? Yes! Yeeesss!" Bea at gentle na sinuot sa finger ko yung ring before ito tumayo
Pagkatayo niya ay agad akong napayakap sa kanya
"Is this real?" sabi ko nang naluluha, tears of joy
Kumalas si Bea sa pagkakayakap at hinawakan ang magkabilang cheeks ko
"All real, babe. I should've done this a long time ago, antagal ko" Bea
"Hindi naman ako nagmamadali, pero nangangamba lang na baka maagaw ka ng iba"
"Hindi naman ako magpapaagaw. Know that I'm only yours" Bea
"Chloe must be very happy for us, babe"
Bea nodded kasabay ng pagpatak ng luha niya
"I love you" Bea
Bea leaned forward to reach my lips and kiss me gently, which made me feel like I was floating. This feels the best.
"Whooooo kasalan naaa!" sigaw ng loved ones and friends namin
BEATRIZ
Hindi kami magkasamang uuwi ngayon ni Jho, kasi sabi ng parents namin ay susulitin na muna nila kami ni Jho na makasama dahil ikakasal na kami the soonest hehe
Nandito kami sa parking area exchanging goodbyes
"See you again tomorrow, my future wife" sabi ko pagkabitaw namin sa hug
"See you rin. But babe, I miss you already" Jho
"I miss you more, babe. Baka hindi ako makatulog later. I'm sure I will be thinking of you the whole night"
"Ehem Bea iuuwi na muna namin anak ko ha?" tito John interfered
Nag sad face si Jho at nag cling siya sa arm ni tito John
"Pinagmuka niyo naman kaming kontrabida" dad Elmer interfered too
Dahil dun ay nagtawanan ang lahat and eventually naghiwahiwalay din. I watched Jho's car with her parents inside drive away as I was waving.
ARA
Caitlin and I are drinking in my place, sinasabayan ko lang. Hindi ako pumunta sa marriage proposal ni Bea dahil alam kong kakailanganin ako ni Cait at tama nga ako
"Sorry for developing feelings for Bea, antanga ko kasi" Cait
"So tanga rin ako ganun, kasi nagka feelings din ako kay Jho"
"Eh you fall in love with everyone naman" Cait
"Oh sorry na, malandi lang" I chuckled
"Akala ko kasi may chance. Kasalanan ko ba kung may naramdaman akong iba sa mga actions Bei before?" Cait
Bea and Cait were very close naman talaga to the point na minsan ay naffeel ko na may something sila, lalo na nung nasa UK pa kami
"Acceptance. Jho and Bea deserve to be happy, for sure there is someone waiting for you rin"
"I will learn to accept it, but I hope maiintindihan mo ako sa gagawin ko" Cait
"What?"
"I want Bei for one whole night" Caitlin
CAITLIN
I'm on the rooftop of my condo at naiwan si Ara sa place niya, I rarely go here kasi sa bahay ako umuuwi. I called Bea through video call at sumagot naman siya
"Hey Bei! Do you see where I am?"
"On a rooftop? Wait, why did you turn down going with the police earlier? How are you by the way?" Bea
"Shhh enough with that. Yes! Nandito ako sa rooftop"
"W-what are you doing there? Gabi na, umuwi kana" Bea
"I want this whole night with you, Bei"
"What?" Bea
"Mag-usap tayo, please?" I said softly
"Can't we do it tomorrow? Bakit ngayong gabi pa?" Bea
"One jump and I'll die" sabi ko and I stepped on a chair
"Cait! No! Ok ok I'm coming" Bea
BEATRIZ
Bea: Babe, there's an emergency. I'm going to Caitlin, she asked me to stay with her for one whole night
I almost sent that message to Jho, but I erased all that, ayokong mag-alala siya. I'll tell her everything nalang tomorrow
When I got to the building I was nervously going up to the rooftop
Then pagkarating ko sa rooftop ay saktong umulan, there I saw Caitlin sitting on the floor while crying. Malas naman at wala akong dalang kahit ano, kahit payong man lang sana
Tumakbo ako kay Caitlin at niyakap siya
"I'm bringing you home safe, Cait. Tara na ha? Lumalakas na yung ulan"
Caitlin hugs me back
"I w...want to know w...why" Caitlin cries
"What are you talking about? Silong muna tayo baka magkasakit ka"
Lumalakas na kasi talaga ang pagbuhos ng ulan. Pinapatayo ko siya pero parang ayaw niyang sumunod
"Bakit si Jho?!" Cait
Tumayo si Cait at tinignan ako habang umiiyak. Pinalipas ko muna ng ilang segundo bago ako sumagot
"Dahil mahal ko siya, mahal na mahal"
"But I love you, Bei!" Caitlin continues to cry
"What did I do para mahalin mo ako?"
"Yun na nga eh, n...naging totoo ka lang naman at dun na k...kita natutunang mahalin" Cait cries
"Bakit ngayon mo lang sinabi?"
"Dahil h...hinintay kita, na ang akala ko ay p....parehas tayo nang nararamdaman. I waited f...for you to confess first" Cait
Here I remembered what really happened to us
"Caitlin, I'm sorry"
"What are you asking f...forgiveness for?" Cait
"Back in the UK, when I was longing for Jho, aaminin ko. Unintentional kong naibaling yung love ko sa kanya sa'yo, but it wasn't love. I just somehow showed you my motives, but it was unintentional" I sob
"You used me to s...satisfy your longings, but you n...never developed any f...feelings?" Cait
I nodded
"Because Jhoana is still far different from you. Nothing can change the way I love her. Nothing, not even you"
"Pano n...naman ako? H...hindi mo manlang a...ako binigyan ng c...chance kung p...paano ako m...magmahal" Cait
Dahan-dahan ko siyang niyakap
"B...bakit kailangan ko pa m...masaktan? N...nagmahal lang naman a...ako" Caitlin cries
Kumalas ako sa hug at hinawakan ko both sides ng cheeks niya as I rubbed my thumb on her skin
"I am not worth your love"
"Please give me this whole night para ipakita sa'yo at iparamdam kung gaano kita kamahal" Cait whimpers
Caitlin held on to my shoulders and then tiptoed to reach me for a very passionate kiss. She was moving her lips and even biting my lips, but I was just steady while my eyes were closed.
