Yn and vada on a phone call
Yn: is it okay if I come by shield in a few I need some into on a guy I'm trying to track
Vada: of course! We would be happy to help
Yn: that's great I'll be there in ten minutes, can you tell simmons to get the test results of file 1839
Vada: absolutely. Simmons will get the file for you as quickly as possible. We'll be ready for you in the briefing room
Yn: okay see you soon
Vada: see you soon
After 10 minutes yn arrives at shield and walks up to vada
"Hey vada"
"Hey. Thanks for coming in on which short notice. I've got simmons on the case with that file so shouldn't be long before we can get started" vada says putting down gear and some shiny crystals
"So what are you looking for exactly, yln"
"Uhm just anything, any possible people who could've helped him, location just anything that could get me one step closer to finding him"-yn
"I see. So I take it then you are looking for one specific individual? Do you know if they may have any connections to HYDRA or SHIELD. That might be a good place to start"- vada
" yeah he's a HYDRA superior, one of the tops most hunted people right now " yn says taking of her taking hanging it over her shoulder
"Wow sound serious, we'll do our best to help you take him down. See if we can find any leads. I'll get everyone to the briefing room"-vada
Few minutes later everyone is in the briefing room
" okay places down file this is all I have it's family and recent guys"- yn
The team immediately swarms around the files, working to analyze them for clues
"Vada, can I talk to you for a minute" yn says, they've been looking for clues a while now and yn needs to ask vada something as it's distracted them from the files and clues
"Sure" they go to somewhere private
"What's up? "
"I like you... Like like you and I know this is not the right time but I just needed to say it. I like you vada. Pheow okay yup"
Vadas face lights up, she blushes
"Are you... Saying you like me? Like like like me? "
"Yes for over a year now I just didn't want to ruin anything" yn says as she can't stop smiling
Vada blushes harder.
Oh my God, I can't believe it. I've, uh...I've always sort of had a thing for you too. But I had no idea that you felt the same way. I just figured, you know, you'd never be interested in me or something. This is so crazy"
Yn let's out a sigh of relieve and chuckles with a smile
"Wow that amazing. In that case do you think after the mission we can maybe go out for drink"
"I would love that"
Time skip to after the mission bc I'm lazy and tired
Yn and vada manage to catch the hydra guy, the villain is defeated, and peace has been restored for the time being. vada and yn both have a few cuts and injuries from fighting. yn goes to help bandage up vada's neck while she addresses everyone.
¨And that's a wrap, folks. We got 'em. Let's tie 'em up and make sure he doesn't get free, we don't want any more trouble. Once that's done, we'll need to make sure all the information from this mission is properly logged. Any last questions or concerns before we end this op?¨
everyone says no and goes back to their assignment, but the only thing vada notices is yn's injuries
vada walks up to yn, gently grabbing her hand. She inspects yn's injuries.
¨Hey, yn, you look like you got banged up pretty bad in this fight. I know you're tough, but even the toughest of us need a little help sometimes. Let me take a look at those injuries, okay? It'll make me feel a lot better to know you're not too hurt.¨
¨okay¨ turns so vada can look at her back, already knowing its bad it hurts like hell
vada begins inspecting the injuries on her back.
¨Oh, yn, this is bad. You've got a bad laceration on your back. It doesn't look like it's too deep, but it definitely needs to be cleaned and bandaged. Are you feeling all right? Can you move? Or are you feeling dizzy, nauseous, or in a lot of pain? It might be good for you to get to the med bay and have them take a look at this. Do you think you can still walk? Or should I carry you?¨
¨slightly dizzy, nauseous yes and it hurts like hell can you help me stand up¨
¨Of course. No problem.¨ vada grabs a hold of yn and helps her stand. The two of them begin to walk out of the main hall towards the med bay.
¨just take a deep breath, and try not to move too quickly. The pain might get worse if you do. We'll make sure you get properly bandaged, and then you can lie down and rest for a bit. How does that sound, yn?¨
¨but what about our date¨-yn
¨We can always reschedule. Right now I'm more worried about your health. Do you think it would be okay with you if we pushed the date back, so I can make sure you're all taken care of before I treat you to a romantic evening?¨
¨okay im sorry for ruining your night,vada¨
¨Don't be silly. I'm not sad or mad, I'm just worried about you. It doesn't matter if we have to cancel our date or whatever. The only thing that matters to me is making sure you're okay, that you're happy, and that you can continue to kick butt. So you just try to be brave for me, and let me make sure you're alright first, okay?¨
simmons and fitz see the pair walking towards them in medbay
As vada and yn walk towards them, Simmons and Fitz notice vada helping yn walk towards their station in the med bay, and walk up to meet them. ¨Hey guys, what's going on? Is everything alright? Did yn get injured?¨
vada points at yns back
yn turns around to show Simmons and Fitz her back - they can see a deep, bad looking laceration there.
¨It looks like she's gotten some pretty bad injuries from the fight. I don't want to move her too much, because she's still bleeding. I was going to take her to the med bay right now. Can you two escort us there?¨vada asks
¨yes definitely¨simmons says going to help stabilize yn taking her other arm wrapping it around her neck
The four of them proceed to escort yn to the med bay. yn looks weak and in a lot of pain, she's trying not to move or cry out from the pain.
doctor: okay what do we got
vada: This is yn. She's a pretty important asset to our mission, so we need her back at top health as soon as possible. She's got a deep laceration on her back, we don't want her moving because she could reopen the wound and bleed even more. She's a bit nauseous and dizzy, and it seems like it hurts for her to walk. So, any chance of fixing her up?
doctor:totally simmons fitz im gonna need your guys help
Simmons: We're on it.
Fitz and Simmons both grab hold of yn on opposite ends. They hold onto her just enough to keep her steady, but not too hard as to cause her anymore injury. They all help escort yn over to the operating table. The doctor and nurses begin getting supplies and bandages ready, waiting for them to carry yn onto the table. As soon as yn is on the table, the doctors and nurses proceed to get to work on the laceration. vada leans in to speak to yn while the doctors work.
¨I know it hurts, but just hang in there, okay? This will be over before you know it, and then you'll be good as new to enjoy that romantic evening with me. I want you to try to relax, okay? We'll be right here with you, and I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you. I promise, yn.¨
yn nods for a sign of understanding, breathing in and out slowly and deeply to get some relief from the pain. reaching for vada's hand desprately
Noticing yn grabbing at her hand, yn holds her hand. She speaks softly and gently to yn, offering reassurance and comfort. The doctors continue working on the laceration. They clean and disinfect the wound, before putting stitches in. yn looks like she's still in a lot of pain from the stitching, and the doctor speaks up to make her comfortable during the process. ¨Just a few more stitches right here, and we'll be done. I know it hurts, yn, but keep breathing. Just focus on your breathing. Only a few more, and the worst of it will be over.¨
The doctors continue working on the laceration, and yn grips vada's hand tighter - the process is almost done .The doctors finish the stitching. They bandage the laceration closed. yn can finally feel some relief from the pain now that it's closed, but she's still tense and uncomfortable. Simmons and Fitz let go of her and she sits back against the table, leaning back - resting.
The doctors and Nurses finish what they're doing and step away from yn at the table, leaving it just to vada, and yn on her own. vada smiles down at yn.
¨Hey, yn, we're all done. There's just one more thing I want you to do, if that's okay. I want you to close your eyes for a minute, and breathe in and out. Imagine yourself as the calm, cool, and collected hero that you are. Don't worry about the pain, or the stitching, just focus on your breathing. Can you do that for me?¨
¨mhm¨ closes her eyes imagine her calm,cool and collected self
