Hers~> 3 days being married+ day before Eid

After buying all the ingredients for the milkcake, I quickly got changed and then got out the bowls for it.

"Aslan!" I say, making my way to the cuteness which was sitting on the floor.

"You're so cute, Ma'Sha'Allah." I say, petting him softly.

"Noor? Who are you talking to?" I hear Khalil say from the front.

"Aslan." I reply, taking him in my hands.

"Oh, I thought there was someone else here." He sighs.

"I only have time for one person." I say, smiling.

"I wonder who?" Khalil replies, scratching his chin.

"Aslan!" I reply, shrugging.

"Oh really?" He responds, dipping his head.

"Maybe..." I say before putting Aslan down on his pillow.

"Maybe, Noor?" He asks, slowly walking towards me.

"Hmm, I don't remember what I said." I reply, looking at my hands.

"Well I do!" He shouts before attacking me in a tickle fight.

"Khalil!" I laugh as I feel my back fall on the sofa.

"Huh? What were you saying?" Khalil jokes, chuckling as his body towers over mine.

"Let go! Let go!" I gasp, giggling.

"I'll be the judge of that." He responds, smirking.

He then slowly stops and each of his hands remain next to my neck, trapping me in his arms.

I couldn't even move if I wanted to since his hazel green eyes were locked on mine with curiosity.

His body was strong on top of mine and he begun slowly moving his head down to me till we were breaths apart.

"Noor..." He says breathlessly.

"Is that the time?" I reply, quickly moving my body from below his so he fell on the sofa and I  was walking back to the kitchen.

"You're killing me." Khalil says quietly from the living room.

"Well I have a milkcake to make and you have to make the rest of the food since you know I can't!" I call out, putting the flour into the bowl.

"Baba's coming later to help, Noor. I think we're fine." He replies, making his way to the kitchen.

"That's actually a relief now, Alhamdulilah." I sigh, leaning on against the counter.

"You think I can't cook?" He says, sarcastically.

"I know you can cook but you're stressing me out right now. Our families are coming tomorrow for Eid and nothings ready and look at what time it is." I reply, putting a hand on my face.

"It's only 4-" Khalil says before breaking into a low chuckle.

"What? What are you laughing at?" I ask, confused.

"You've got something on your face." He closes the space between us, lifts a hand and gently brushes the flour off my cheek.

Our eyes meet and his hand lingers.

*ringg

We quickly break the gaze and he sighs, "Better go and check that."

"Yep." I reply, quietly.

His~>

"Asalamulaikum." Baba says.

"Walaikumsalam Baba." I reply, putting the phone closer to my ear.

"Khalil I can't come today, something came up in the office." He says.

Flipping hell, what was I supposed to do now?

"Khalil? Did you hear me?" Baba asks, making me blink.

"Umm, yeah Baba." I reply, reluctantly.

"Perfect, I'll just call Haadi up now." He replies.

"Wait, Baba what-" I say before Baba hangs up.

Yallah, what have I got myself into.

"Khalil? What time is Baba coming again?" Noor asks as she puts her cake into the oven.

"About that... Babas a bit busy in the office but he said Haadi will come." I reply, standing next to her.

"Haadi can cook?" She asks, nudging me.

"Yeah?" I respond, reluctantly.

"Lemme call up Neha real quick." Noor says with a grin.

"Neha?" I ask, confused.

"Neha and Hala... you didn't hear me?" She asks with a high pitched voice.

Well I think I heard everything clearly but apparently not.

I then nod and she begins to text Neha and Hala.

"They're going to come in an hour." She says a few minutes later.

"I'll marinade the chicken and meat." I reply with a smile.

An hour later Hala and Neha arrive, "Asalamulaikum!"

"Walaikumsalam." I reply, hugging my little sister.

"I got some pani puri for when we break our fast." She replies, holding the bag up in the air.

"Fatty." I joke, laughing.

"Do you mind if I have some now?" Neha asks, sitting on the sofa.

"Uh.." Hala says, reluctantly.

I know she was planning on how to tell Neha no but she was pregnant and my sister was obviously going to cave in.

"Here." She says, quietly.

"Jazahkhallah, Hala." Neha replies.

Another ring on the doorbell pulls me from the exchange happening in front of me and to the door.

"Haadi, Asalamulaikum." I say, hugging my brother.

"Walaikumsalam, I brought a few others if that's alright?" He replies, taking his sunglasses off.

"Who?" I ask, confused.

"Asalamulaikum!" Little Hamza calls out as him, Ibrahim and Elias come through the gates.

"Walaikumsalam, Hamza!" I reply, bending down so me and him are the same height.

"When Elias uncle said we were coming to your house I was so excited!" He says with a giggle.

"Well Elias uncle should've said something sooner then I would've got you those drinks that you like so much." I respond, side eyeing Elias.

"Mogu mogu?" Ibrahim asks with a grin.

"Just that." I agree, high fiving him.

"Asalamulaikum." Noor says from behind us, wearing a blue abaya and a beige hijab.

"Walaikumsalam, sis." Haadi replies, smiling.

Noor smiles back with a little bit of a nod and gestures him to the kitchen where the food is and he immediately gets to work.

"Walaikumsalam Noor!" Both Hamza and Ibrahim say a few seconds later, taking their shoes off.

"You guys are very excited you know." I whisper to the boys, jokingly.

"Let's get you guys to the garden, Khalil bought a basketball hoop the other day come on." Noor says before walking out to the backyard.

"No way!" Hamza gasps.

"Yes way!" Elias says, taking the basketball in his hands.

"Are you gonna be playing?" Hala asks him.

"Yeah why?" He replies, bouncing the ball.

"If that's the case, all bets are on Hamza and Ibrahim." She says, smiling at the brothers.

"I like her already." Ibrahim says making us laugh.

"Aww Ma'Sha'Allah, aren't you a cutie." Neha says to Hamza who was currently trying to make a hoop.

"I can't get it!" He replies, pouting.

"Maybe just aim a bit higher and jumping so you get that power.." She replies before making the perfect shot.

Everyone stops and turns to her in awe while she stands awkwardly.

"Who did that shot?" Haadi asks, walking out to us.

"Neha." Noor replies, smiling proudly.

"Oh, that was a clean shot there." Haadi says, looking to the floor.

Everyone else turns back to the basketball hoop once again but my mind is still on my brother.

He usually always has his cool and never is nervous.

Since he was used to talking in big crowds and became the boss he wasn't awkward but today he was.

Was it because of Neha?

"Khalil!" I hear my wife say from the kitchen.

How'd she get there so quick?

"Did you teleport there or something?" I ask jokingly, walking to where she stood.

"Oh my, how did you guess?" She replies, sarcastically.

"Lucky guess." I reply, shrugging.

She giggles before saying, "I wanted to ask you something."

"Yeah, sure?" I reply, awaiting her question.

"Did Ibrahim's aunts health get better?" She asks, crossing her arms.

In the morning I had received a notification from Elias that Ibrahim's aunt's condition had actually improved.

Although there were a lot of scares and concerns from the doctors she had pushed through.

"Alhamdulilah, her condition has improved." I reply, gratefully.

"In'Sha'Allah it stays like that." She says, looking to the two brothers.

I nod softly before putting a hand on hers, I realise that maybe I'm moving a bit too fast from before and pull back.

She then slowly clutches my hand and intertwines our fingers.

"Achoo!" A high pitched voice says from the door.

Immediately removing her hand from mind Noor says, "Umm, we were just looking for the juices."

"These juices?" Ibrahim says with a grin, gesturing to the one on the table in front of him.

"Uh..." Noor trails off.

"Bismillah." I say, taking the juice and feeding it to him.

Ibrahim obviously knew what was happening but anyways.

"Thanks." He replies, smiling.

I nod solemnly before Noor asks him, "Have you guys prayed Asr before you left?"

"Oh my- we totally forgot! Jazahkhallah sis!" Ibrahim says with a smile.

"No problem just call your brother and Elias and I'll get the prayer mats." She replies with a smile.

She was so considerate that whoever met her would gravitate towards her since she was that kind.

Ibrahim nods eagerly before calling Hamza and Elias for prayer.

Anddd cut! This chapter basically summed up how hamza and Ibrahim's situation played out and I'm most likely going to include in more chapters to come! Also In'Sha'Allah our duas and prayers are accepted on this day of Arafat and Eid Mubarak, love you guys for the sake of Allah 🤍
