Marriage. Kids. The whole nine yards....give me all of it. I want it all with Megan.
And today is the day I'm finding the right ring for her. With Teyana and Marcus with me we head to the jewelry store.
"Get this one! I like it" Marcus says
"Nigga it ain't your life, and plus that don't even look like Megan would like it" Teyana says
"Alright I'mma need y'all to stop so I can think. She's such a simple wonderful woman. But this has to be special. I want her to love it. But I also want it to be extra so she can show it off"
"Exactly! So this is the ring!"
"Nigga he said extra not crazy" Teyana shouts back to Marcus shutting him down
I shake my head and go back to looking at the rings. Then one stands out and I instantly know it's the one.
"Can I see this one?" I ask the jeweler
With the ring ordered we head to the flower shop and of course them two argue about which flowers to get. Leaving me to decide which one to get. And I settle for a mix of tulips, white roses multi color painted and some baby breaths. Cause my baby takes my breath away all the time.
My phone goes off, looking at it I see it's my baby.
"D-Daddy...."
"What's wrong baby? Is everything okay? Are you hurt?"
"No. No. I- I just wanted to hear your voice....you've been gone almost all day...I miss you"
"Aw babe, I miss you too. I'm almost finish running these errands with Tey and Marcus. Okay then I'mma be home to you"
"We'll hurry home...I'm almost done making your favorite"
"Well you can't make my favorite cause last time I checked my favorite is already made...and I would like it to be spread open for me when I get home"
"Don't be nasty!" She shouts into the phone making me laugh
"I'm not. I'm just stating how I want you to be when I get home, that's all"
"Yeah okay....so I'll see you in an hour"
"You know it, and don't have nothing on. I want my plate ready....see you later baby" I say chuckling as we end the call
"You so fucking nasty. Let's hurry up since he got his dinner to eat in an hour" Teyana says as her and Marcus scrunch their faces up
ONE HOUR LATER
"Is my food on the table like she supposed to be?" I say as I enter into the house smiling
"Yes Daddy" I hear my baby girl say back
After locking the door behind me and giving Mars a quick rub on the head, I rush to the kitchen....not finding her the way I expected.
"W-What-"
"I got hungry...I'm sorry. But this pasta is very good" she says cutting me off as she sits completely naked on the table eating with her legs crossed
All I can do is laugh at my baby as she smiles at me with the cream sauce on her chin.
"Oh my little mess maker" I say wiping her chin of the sauce
"Want some??" She ask holding a forkful up
I happily accept it taking in how good the pasta is. My baby sure can cook.
TWO MONTHS LATER
With the ring in my pocket, today is the day. I'm proposing to Megan. I know she loves me and we're meant to be so she'll definitely say yes..... I hope she says yes.
I rush to the flower shop to pick up the flowers then now to Marcus and Austin's house so I can change before I go home and pick Megan up.
I told her to look nice because we're going out and it's gonna be something special. My baby loves to go out so it wasn't nothing to give her my card telling her to get whatever she want to look good for the night in.
"Boy I'mma need you to hurry the fuck up cause my girl is ready and she getting nervous" Austin says leaning on the bedroom door as I stare in the mirror practicing how I'mma propose
"I'm leaving okay! I-I just gotta get the words I'm gonna say to her right"
"Nigga. It's simple. I love you so marry me"
"Aww really babe....of course I will over and over again" Austin says leaning on Marcus
"And that's my cue to get outta here. Alright y'all I'm out!" I say rushing pass them going to the front door
I pull up in front of the house trying to steady my voice, practicing how imma propose.
"What up bitch!!" I hear and see Teyana leaning on my passenger side looking in the car
"Nigga get the fuck out my window before you break it"
"You nervous ain't you?" She says smirking at me as I groan
".....Don't worry she is too. Y'all nothing but full of surprises...but she look good, here they come. Have fun" she says moving to the side opening the door and there goes my baby
Hair flowing and wavy. All natural.
"Hey baby"
"H-Hi Daddy....you look so handsome!" She says blushing as she puts her seatbelt on
"Y'all kids be safe alright" Teyana says laughing
I give her the middle finger and drive off to the restaurant.
"Are those flowers that are in the backseat for me?"
"Oh shit. Y-Yeah baby girl. They're for you. I was supposed to have given them to you when you got in the car. I'm just nervous" I say grabbing her hand as we sit at the table in the restaurant
"Why?...it's only dinner"
"You right. But I want tonight to be perfect for you...cause I love you"
"And I love you Daddy" she says then pokes her lips out for me to give her a kiss that I happily accept and slightly calms me
With us done with our food I ask our waiter to give us 15 minutes before he comes back with dessert. I guess he already knew what I was doing cause he gives me a smirk and a nod.
With the box in my left hand I reach for Megan's hand again with my right holding it.
"You know I love you so much Megan...."
"And I love you so much too Daddy"
"N-No like I love you so much. Like I can't imagine life without you....a-and I don't ever want to experience life without you....and I love what we have. I thank you for choosing me to be your lover, friend, caretaker when needed....u-ummmm w-what I want to say is.....is- um shit it's hot. Ain't it hot?"
"Not really...a-are you okay? Is everything okay Daddy?! You're acting very strange"
"I know...it's just that I have something I want to share with you....b-but. Ugh. Megan I love you so much....a-and I want. Megan, p-please marry me?" I stumble out taking out the box showing the ring to her
She gasp covering up her mouth and right on cue the waiter comes back with the dessert we ordered.
"Oh shit. I mean. I apologize for coming back at a bad time...but I did give you twenty minutes....but congratulations and y'all enjoy" he says then run back out leaving us alone
"First thank you for this Daddy. I appreciate it. And I-I can't believe you want me....after all I've done you want me" she says tearing up
"Of course I do. You are what I've always wanted. What I always needed. So please marry me"
"Of course!! Of course I'll marry you! Oh my fucking gosh!!! We're getting married!!!" She shouts nearly jumping out her seat
I smile grabbing her nearly off the floor as I spin her around. She slightly screams in my ear as she holds me tight around my neck.
"I love you so much Daddy. I love you so much.... Thank you for loving me" she says
I wake up to my fiancée, the finest damn thing I've ever had the chance to lay my eyes on. I watch as her chest softly and slowly rises up and down. I take in her beauty, wondering how I got some damn lucky!
Now I know I should be sleeping since we barely got any sleep last night cause I was definitely putting that work in. Making sure she felt every inch of my love.
She starts to move in her sleep but then jumps up running into the bathroom. Racing after her she's throwing up.
"Baby girl you okay?"
"I-I don't know. My stomach was hurting badly and I just felt like I had to throw up....but I feel better now"
I look at her concerned of course cause I want my baby to be alright. She nods her head as she's up now brushing her teeth.
"I'm fine! Forreal Daddy, I'm fine" she says but I continue to stare at her
MEGAN POV
I haven't been feeling good for a while now and it's starting to interfere with my work. I can't fully sketch out this scene for this new Disney movie, Elemental. And it's frustrating me to the max. I keep throwing up and I'm just exhausted....
I wipe my mouth after I catch my breath looking down into the toilet again. I quickly flush it and wipe my mouth again. I look at my ring on my left hand, and smile. I still can't believe we're engaged! He loves me just as much as I love him. Now the wedding I don't even want to think on cause I will go crazy. It has to be perfect. But I gotta get over this damn sickness. And it's been a month already!
I brush my teeth and call Alyssa, she might know what's wrong with me....or I can atleast vent to her.
"........girl you're pregnant!! That's nothing but the baby saying hello. You're pregnant and I obviously know... trust me!" Alyssa said which keeps replaying in my mind as I stand in front of the pregnancy test in CVS
Which one is better?.....First Response..... clear blue, the damn CVS brand. Which one?
I just grab all of them, and rush to the register with shakey hands. I rush home and take each test, leaving them all lined up on the sink.
"SHIT!" I say as I remember that I have to make dinner
It's 4pm and Daddy will be home in 30 minutes. I open the fridge door and find the chicken I marinated this morning. I open it and instantly feel like throwing up. Pizza it will be cause I refuse to cook that damn chicken.
I hear the front door open and it's Daddy.
"Baby girl I got the pizzas you ordered, he was pulling up right behind me"
"Okay that's great! Cause I'm starving!!" I say as we both laugh
We sit at the table eating our pizza as we talk about our day. Then it hits me all the pregnancy test I took.
I rush upstairs to our bathroom as I hear Daddy follow behind me asking am I okay.
I look at all the test and they all read the same. I smile and right on cue Daddy comes in.
"B-Baby girl.....are you serious?....y-y-you having my baby! You having my baby?!"
I nod my head smiling at him. He grabs me up swinging me in his arms while kissing my face.
"I love you. I love you so much Baby girl. And I love our baby! I'mma be a Father!!" He shouts and I giggle
We're having a baby. My dream, my life is complete because I have him.
"Thank you for loving me" I whisper to him
"No thank you for loving me" he says back and I grab his face giving him a kiss
