christian's living situation in london had recently taken an interesting turn.
mason mount decided to sell his house a week after he threw that massive party. so, he crashed at christian's tiny apartment for a little bit while he went house hunting.
due to some circumstances, the chelsea midfielder's homelessness didn't really last long...
one day, mason, ben, and christian smoked a lot of weed after a bad game and impulsively bought a five bedroom mansion in the heart of london while they were high. of course, they told their parents that it was a planned out and professional arrangement, but they crossed their fingers and hoped for the best

nonetheless, the sitution works really well for all three parties. christian gets a bigger space, mason doesn't have to live all alone, and ben can cook everyone food. despite their satisfaction, they all promised not to ever smoke that much weed again.
currently, christian just got back home from miami to prepare for the upcoming usmnt to hershey events. since this is the first time the trio has seen each other for a couple weeks, mason and ben decided to bake a terrible cake just because.

in celebration of christian's return, me and benjamin baked him a beautiful cake (the lucky charms are so american, right?)

"do you like the cake christian?" mason asked with a smug grin painted on his face as the three sat down on the couches, ready to dig into the mediocre cake.
"um," christian examined it hesitantly for a few moments and continued, "it's definitely a cake...the marshmallow add some character, i guess,"
mason made a displeased face and replied, "you don't seem too pleased with my hard work,"
ben jumped into the conversation, "for the record, all the designing was mason not me,"
"yeah so if the actual cake tasted like ass crack, the beautiful design could compensate,"
christian laughed at their banter and sliced himself a piece of cake. the boys looked at him intently as he ate the cake, waiting for a reaction to surface. the american looked at ben with wide eyes, taking another piece of the cake.
"ben, this tastes like heaven in a cake,"
"duh, the benjamin chilwell made it,"
"don't ruin it man,"
"just eat the damn cake,"
the three of them eventually started to dig their forks into the cake and finished it like cave men—with no regrets, of course.
"okay mason," christian began to ask, "why is the cake pink?"
"because my tip—"
"mase, for the love of god, do not finish that sentence," ben slammed him hand over his friend's mouth, "what he meant to say is that he loves you and pink is a wonderful color to show his love,"
"and my penis," mason added with a wink, causing christian to erupt in laughter and ben to roll his eyes.
"good lord, there is no saving you mate,"
they cracked more jokes and a couple laughs before mason began to eye christian carefully, almost as if there were something he needed to say.
"christian, can i ask you something?"
"yeah dude, what's up?"
"alex rossi," mason watched as christian's expression faltered, "what's going on with you two?"
suddenly, the joking atmosphere had been instantly cleared. the two british internationals waited to hear the answer to a question they had grappled with since the party.
