Soyun pov
It's been more than 5 months since I'm discharged from hospital. I overcame my trauma well. Thanks to jaemin. He's been taking a good care of me. Since that incident, none of my brothers came to visit me nor they called me. Not like I want them to. But somewhere, I wanted them to come to me, to ask for my forgiveness, to hug me and tell me they're gonna be good brothers for me from now.
Though it was hard for me to believe, now I got why they acted that way back then...it makes sense now. All of their anger, their weird behaviour, being protective, and suspicious of everyone...Now I get it why and how they managed to fight like that back then, what was the revenge about, and what the loath was for...
I heard that the apartment was under dad though jaemin refused to stay here under their supervision. He made this arrangement for me to stay here until I'm fully recovered. I looked at the photo where all of us were smiling happily. My mother, dad, minhyuk oppa and me. I looked at another photo where I had my new family. My step dad and my step brothers. Some other pics we had separately, just the 8 of us.
Thinking about all these made me sigh again. I started going to school as well. And it has been more peaceful than before, since there was no sehun to get on my nerves. I have one friend named yejin who's been nice to me, we've become really close. She also met jaemin and is always busy teasing us.
Jaemin has also been focusing on his college studies. I'm thinking of going to the same college as him after my school. A few more months, and I will leave this shitty school for good. I won't even miss it as I have nothing but bad memories here. I was snapped out of my thoughts by a notification on my phone. It was my bestie yejin.

I chuckled looking at her text. I better get ready in 2 minutes or else she will kill me. I wore a simple outfit and grabbed my keys before going out. I should enjoy my life before it gets destroyed again. Who knows what could happen to me anytime.
Jackson pov
It's been more than 5 months since we've been planning on our mission. The only reason to take it so long was our precaution. One wrong move and it can destroy everything. I wanna meet soyun so bad. I miss her so much. But I can't even go. Soyun didn't even call me once or never texted me. Does she hate me that much?
Mr. Kim called us in the study to confirm the plan once again. Today is the day, to prepare ourselves for our future. The aura in the room was so deadly and serious that anyone would get scared seeing us in that state.

Uncle asked making all of us nod firmly.
Somewhere, I felt nervous and scared. I wanted to see soyun before going. Negative thoughts flowed my mind making it blurry.

Soyun was returning to her home after happily spending her time with her bestie. But she didn't know someone was waiting eagerly for her. She got lost in her track when she saw the person. It was Jackson, standing right there, in front of her house.
Hello sir, do we know u? Why r u standing like that in front of her house?
Yejin asked sensing the tension between them.
Yejin-ah. U can go home now. I'll call u tomorrow morning.
Soyun assured her but yejin didn't seem to have convinced.
Yah. How can I leave u with that unknown guy standing like a dumbass. Who knows what he's hiding under that handsome mask of his. Handsome guys can be more dangerous sometimes u know.
Yejin whispered and soyun chuckled a little seeing her judgement.
It's fine. Don't worry. He's...my brother...
Jackson looked at soyun with surprised eyes surely being happy. Yejin looked unpleased but still left her like that.

Jackson called her but soyun unlocked the door without saying anything and gestured him to come inside.
Why r u here this sudden? No call no text, but this sudden visit. What is it?
Soyun asked with a cold tone. Jackson looked down trying to form words.
Actually yun...I don't know how to tell u all these but u really need to know-

Jackson looked at soyun dumbfounded. That wasn't anything that Jackson could deny. They indeed r. But this is gonna be their last mission. He wanted to tell her this.
Soyun...now u need to listen to me carefully. Since u know who we r, u might know how difficult our work is...
Soyun nodded simply without any argument. She wanted to know the truth as well.
We'll have our last mission tomorrow...
Jackson said and soyun looked shocked.

Soyun asked suddenly.
Oppa, at least now, tell me the truth please. I can't stay in the dark forever.
Jackson sighed and kept on telling her the truth. Everything from the beginning, including the truth behind minhyuk's death.
S-so...u mean...oppa...minhyuk oppa was killed? By them?
Soyun asked with tears in her eyes. Jackson nodded slowly and went on to hug the fragile girl in front of him.
Is that why...they all seemed so familiar? As if I know them for years...as if I was attached to them for so long?
Jackson nodded again.
Soyun was now more confused and her mind was filled with mixed emotions.
See yunnie...u can't hate them even if u want to. And...they never meant to hurt u. They've suffered too much to trust anyone. They're so guilty right now that...they don't even have the courage to meet u. We...we don't know if we'll be alive-

Soyun snapped back with tears in her eyes. Jackson smiled and hugged her tighter.

Jackson said with a heavy heart.

Soyun asked suddenly making Jackson nervous.

Soyun nodded but somewhere his gut feeling said something is going to be wrong. But he remembered that he forgot to tell her the most important thing. He turned around and looked at soyun whose eyes were red for the crying.
Yun...there's another truth u need to know. Actually...Mrs. Lee, the one u called mom and died a few days ago...wasn't ur real mom. Ur birth mom died...while giving birth to u...
Soyun looked at Jackson in disbelief.
Jackson didn't looked back at her and walked away keeping the girl in total shock. It was too much, and worst to handle. She was too surprised, angry, confused, and hurt. But still she managed to speak with her cracked voice.
Oppa...no matter what...pls come back to me...I don't wanna lose more important persons in my life...and...tell them to come back as well.
Jackson didn't look back tho his heart was tearing apart. His tears betrayed him and fell like a waterfall. He made an oath by himself.
Don't worry my yun...I'll break their neck and bring their lives to u. I won't let any of them live.
