steven gasps for air with his eyes opened wide in confusion and shock and sees that he's on the sofa and khonshu crouching down with
his hand on steven's chest after healing steven of his fatal injurie,bruises and of course his broke arm. steven groans as the worried khonshu
helps steven up to sit on the sofa properly. steven sees that he is topless and only wearing the lower bottom of coven guard outfit and that he is
in the owl house.
KHONSHU: i'm damn relieved you are still breathing steven grant.
STEVEN GRANT: *puts hand on forehead feeling a bit dizzy* uuurghh. what the hell happened
khonshu? the last thing i remember was being impaled through the stomach by that armored guy's
sword and tooken out when i turned to see him and i suddenly fell down.
KHONSHU: *looks down in sorrow and looks up at him* steven i don't know how to tell you this but... *sighs sadly*
eda got captured by her sister. luz tried to fight liith but she was to strong for the poor child. luz had to carrie your
body back to the owl house. poor girl, she was in tears seeing the condition you were in, she went to her room after
i told her that i will heal you.
STEVEN GRANT: *leans forward and puts hand over his mouth horrified that luz got traumatized by what she saw*
dear lord. i can't.....she must be going through a lot. now eda, then seeing me getting impaled through the stomach. she's got0
ta be taking this hard.
KHONSHU: she is. she kept saying this was her fault, i reassured her it was not but she didn't believe that. *stands up and sits
next to steven his hand on his knee thinking* do you know what happened to y/n or jake?
STEVEN GRANT: i....*sighs defeatedly* i don't know khonshu. after y/n's mind got invaded me and jake got tooken out of it. belos
must of cut us off from being there with y/n.
KHONSHU: of course! i knew i sense something was wrong but i thought it was just a tick! belos must of somehow took y/n and jake
out of commission.
STEVEN GRANT: crap. how long do you think it'll take for them to recover?
KHONSHU: mmmm, probably a day or two.
STEVEN GRANT: a day or two?! khonshu, eda doesn't have two days for all we know
she could be tortured or have her life sucked out by that creep belos! *realizes* khonshu,
did luz bring me here yesterday after what happened?
KHONSHU: *nods* yes. she's hasn't come down and king has been in her room comforting her.
steven, we must rescue eda and bring her back.
STEVEN GRANT: *stands up and turns around to khonshu* but how?! without y/n and jake we can't
bust her out that castle. *puts hands on his chest* i'm not a skilled fighter or know any martial arts.
heck! i'm not even a master assassin,spy or a expert tactician like jake and y/n. i'm..i'm... *looks down
in shame* ...a guy who's smart when it comes to science of astronamy,history and stupid mythology.
i'm nothing without y/n and jake.
khonshu knows that steven is not the most skilled when it comes to combat or fighting but khonshu knows
steven is the most smartest of the two and has helped stopped ammit from rising thanks to his gifted intellect.
khonshu rises up from the sofa and placed his bandaged hand on steven's shoulder making him looking up at
ennead moon god of egypt in confusion.
KHONSHU: steven, you are not nothing. you are the moral compass of y/n and jake, when things are down and when
they are in pain you are there for them. if it wasn't for gifted intellect on history and those other things we would'n't of
been able to stop ammit from rising again. *sighs calmly* i was wrong to say you were a worm steven. you are not, you
are brave,kind,optimistic at times and you will do anything to protect those you care about.
steven tears up with happy tears and hugs khonshu who is surprised and slowly and awkwardly hugs steven back who cries
on his chest happy to not feel so weak and nothing. steven and khonshu part from the hug and steven wipes away his tears, happy
he doesn't feel so weak. steven turns around with a determind look and his hands turn to fist slowly. steven turns around to khonshu
with a determind look.
STEVEN GRANT: your right khonshu. eda is in trouble and we need to get her back before something terrible
happens to her. *stares at the staircases with a concerned and worried look* i just need to talk with luz.
KHONSHU: *nods* i an understand. she needs comfort after yesterday's events. poor girl.
steven simply nod to khonshu who sits there on the sofa thinking about something. steven walks up the stairs, goes to luz's room and slowly
opems the door, seeing luz sitting on the floor, legs crossed and looking the opposite way while holding a sleeping king as it is the morning. after
hearing the door open gently puts king down on the floor and gets up turning around to see steven standing there with a comfort smile and a
sorrowful expression. luz eyes are a bit red from crying and she tears a up a little bit running towards steven and bringing him into a hug.
steven hug luz back and rubs her back comfortedly as she cries on his chest wishing that she did something to stop y/n from nearly dying. the two
seperate from eachother as luz looks up at steven and wipes her tears away.
LUZ NOCEDA: steven..i-i am...so sorry for what ha-
STEVEN GRANT: *puts hands on luz's shoulders* luz everything that happened yesterday wasn't your fault.
you are not to blame for what happened. everything went out of control, but it does not matter, what matters
is what we do next.
LUZ NOCEDA: *hugs steven again* i just, felt so guilty, i can't believe eda got captured. *stops hug*
and her sister she, she...
STEVEN GRANT: cursed eda. yeah, it was crazy. we can deal with her later. right now we need to know
if belos has some kind of weakness and if we're gonna beat him, we'll need to know our enemy first.
LUZ NOCEDA: ..yeah.
(timeskip)
KING: *opens book called "the unauthorized boiling isles history"* "the boiling isles. "born from the flesh and bones of a fallen
titan. "this original magic was so potent, "all life on the isles evolved to wield magic, too. "for years we explored those powers freely
"until a mysterious witch appeared who declared that he, and he alone, could speak to the island. "he said that we were using magic
all wrong. "his teaching took hold, his strength grew, "and he became emperor belos. "belos said that mixing magic was wrong, that
only her had that right. so he created the coven system. and there our knowledge was restricted and our potential sealed away. "those
who resist are called 'wild witches' and they face harsh punishment. "emperor belos has since retreated into his castle. "there are whispers
that say he's planning something big." i wonder if catching eda was part of his big plan.
STEVEN GRANT: hmm, well he was obsessed with capturing her and after hearing what he does to these wild witches, rest their
souls, eda might be in serious trouble.
KHONSHU: i agree with steven. this belos guy smells fishy to me.
KING: yeah me too, bird guy. *looks to luz who's sitting on a window looking out the window* what do you
think, luz? luz?
steven who's sitting on the floor with king alongside khonshu see luz's sad look as she looks at the witch hood and cape
eda made for her and stares at the tag on it saying "to a young witch from her proud mentor EDA" luz gets off the window
standing up as she walks and stands infront of khonshu,king and steven who look up at luz.
LUZ NOCEDA: i don't care what belos is up to, steven or khonshu. *determind and serious look and puts
on witch cape and hood standing determind* because today, we are saving eda.
steven and khonshu nod proud of luz's determination while king looks up worried of what luz will do.
steven,luz and khonshu walk towards the weapons room were eda keeps them as luz opens the door to it still determind
as she,steven and khonshu go inside. king catches up still worried.
KING: luz, what are you doing?
LUZ NOCEDA: *looks around for a weapon of her choice* this is serious, king. eda
used her powers to save me and steven and got caught by lilith. now she's the owl beast
and has been taken before the emperor.
STEVE GRANT: *finds and grabs duel small sharp blades and swings them a few times
getting the hang of it as they are now balanced* hmm, this will do great.
KHONSHU: nice choice steven. i gues you have a thing for duel weapons.
STEVEN GRANT: *chuckles a embarressed* yeah, i'm not a fists kinda
guy. that's y/n and jake's talents.
KHONSHU: well that just makes you special just like them, steven. they would be proud
of you doing this.
STEVEN GRANT: *smiles a bit sadly* i just hope they recover.
LUZ NOCEDA: me too steven. i don't know what he's planning to do with eda, but me,steven and
khonshu are going to rescue her.
STEVEN GRANT: and kick lilith's butt if possible!
KHONSHU: *slams fists together* i want to give that traitorous
sister of eda's a lesson to not mess with my three kids!!
luz and steven looks at khonshu perplexed and steven who is embarressed that khonshu called him,y/n
and jake his free kids. khonshu knowing what he just said blushed red on his bone cheeks embarressed.
KHONSHU: ...b-but back to saving eda.
KING: haven't you been listening to me? he's the emperor. he's the most powerful which alive.
KHONSHU: *scoffs* well this so called "emperor belos" hasn't faced a ennead god or my avatar,
so he better be ready if he's going to be fightng us, king.
STEVEN GRANT: king, emperor belos maybe the most powerful which alive but he probably has
no combat skills whatsover. he's gonna have a hard time dealing with me or khonshu.
LUZ NOCEDA: those two are right. *gets on one knee and hand on king's shoulder* king, please try
to understand. eda is in this situation because of..well me.
STEVEN GRANT: luz, it wasn't..
LUZ NOCEDA: *looks to steven* no steven, please let me finish. *looks back at king* because of my
stupid choice. i have to make it up for it.
KING: but she's in her owl beast form. how will she even recognise you three?
LUZ NOCEDA: i don't know. but me,steven and khonshu have to try anyway.
STEVEN GRANT: *puts daggers in his belt's pouches* for eda's sake. it's gonna take
the three of us to get eda back and it won't be easy with out jake and y/n.
KHONSHU: with me it will be easy. but i'll let you kids have your fun kicking ass.
KING: well, then, i'm going, too.
LUZ NOCEDA: king...
STEVEN GRANT: uhh, i don't know king, thing could
get ugly when it happens.
KHONSHU: it's a dangerous rescue if it
goes south.
KING: i know, i know! but me and eda don't always see eye to eye, but i do consider
her family. i want her back as much as the rest of you do.
steven and luz smile at that knowing king cares and sees eda as family like they do a bit,
khonshu hearing that wishes his own family cared for him like that a tear drop leaves
his black eye whole of his bird skull. steven recognises and smiles and empatyh of khonshu.
STEVEN GRANT: khonshu did you..
KHONSHU: *wipes tear away* so what if i did?! just hearing that makes feel this feeling i haven't felt
for a long time!
STEVEN GRANT: is it love?
KHONSHU: ...yes. it feels so good damnit!
steven lightly pats khonshu on the back now seeing his more softer side then usual. luz sees this and feels
like nothing can stop them from rescuing eda.
LUZ NOCEDA: *stands up* all right, then we've got no time to lose. *looks to steven* and steven please put on
the clothes eda gave you yesterday. you're topless. *runs out the room with king following her*
STEVEN GRANT: *realizes and blushes embarressed and covers his chest with his arms* hehe, y-yeah sorry luz.
i'll fix that up when we're ready to leave!
KHONSHU: heh, good save steven grant. try not to impress emira topless, across the street. *runs following luz*
STEVEN GRANT: *sarcastic* hah-hah-hah! very funny bird face! *runs out the room following luz as king does too*
(EMPEROR BELOS'S THRONE)
we see lilith trying to contain eda who's in her owl beast from while carson, belos's coven knight leans his back on a pillar his hands
crossed over his chest while wathcing lilith struggle a bit keeping her sister contained. carson could only look at lilith with disgust and
bitter after she revealed she cursed her own sister. carson has killed alot of wild witches that came into his sight and who thought they could
beat him only to surffer at the hands of his sword. he had honor and what lilith did was disgraceful and a coward's move. carson sees lilith
finally contain her sister in a blue magic orb like she did with with the two kids, which he didn't like her move of using kids, also seeing it as
a cowards move. carson hears what lilith is saying to her sister thanks to his honed senses.
LILITH CLAWTHORNE: don't look at me like that. this is for your own good. emperor belos will heal you
and we'll be in his coven together. isn't that wonderful?
OWL BEAST EDA: *blows raspberry*
CARSON: *in mind* after that blow raspberry, highly doubt it, lilith. you think
your sister will join after you revealed to me and her that you cursed her? hell
right, keep dreaming your delusions.
LILITH CLAWTHORNE: *turns away from eda crossing her arms and closing her eyes*
i will not fall prey to your childish games. *turns back to eda,pulling her lower eye lids down
and stick tongue*
the door opens gaining the attention of both carson and lilith as 6 coven guards came out from the dark door
entrance and form a line for belos. kikimora walks out the door entrance with her arms behind her back.
KIKIMORA: all kneel before emperor belos. *moves out the way*
lilith and carson both kneel down as emperor belos himself comes in the throne room his glowing blu eyes glowing in
the dark making him more intimidating by the minute. owl beast eda yells as she breaks through the the blue magic
orb made by her sister and growls like an owl.
LILITH CLAWTHORNE: eda, no!
carson stands up as he sees the owl beats try to attack belos who teleport from being attacked by the beast and uses telekinesis
to slam the owl beast against the wall as it falls on the floor. belos restrains the owl beast with red thing magic rope holding it down
lilith runs to her sister as belos walks toward the owl beast stopping. carson slowly walks to the three.
LILITH CLAWTHORNE: my lord, i apologize for my sister's rash behavior. she's
still in her cursed form.
CARSON: the reason being you cursed her, lilith. i'm surprised you of all people used such a
cowardly move on your own sister. *disgusted tone* it disgusts me.
LILITH CLAWTHORNE: i know that carson, stay out of this! *looks up at belos pleadingly* once
you've healed her as promised, i'm sure she will become a useful asset to the coven.
belos brings out his magic staff activating it as he raises it up a bit as it shoots mind magic onto eda who roars
and growls in pain much to lilith's discomfort of seeing her that way. eda now has control of her body with her
eyes replacing that of the owl beast's black eyes.
EDA CLAWTHORNE: argh! where am i? what is this? ah, farts! i got caught.
EMPEROR BELOS: *walks closer to eda and croaches down a bit* edalyn clawthorne, the infamous owl
lady, the wild witch of bonesburrow, friends of the newly arrived outlaws steven grant,y/n spector and jake
lockley, better known as moon knight or the fist of khonshu. a mentor to luz the human.
EDA CLAWTHORNE: you stay away from them, or so help me titan.
EMPEROR BELOS: *chuckles softly* you've got it all wrong. the human is safe for now. the persona
of steve grant is alive. but i can't say that for the two, after that white blast ther persona y/n hit me
with. i just want the portal they came through.
EDA CLAWTHORNE: tough, 'cause i ain't telling you nothing.
EMPEROR BELOS: *stands up* ugh, pity. *steps back abit* although i suppose i could
ask the human and the weakest persona of the two themselves. *snaps fingers as a coven
guard drags eda away*
EDA CLAWTHORNE: wait! don't touch them... lilith, don't let him hurt them. lilith!
LILITH CLAWTHORNE: *smiles concerned* uh, taking her to the healing ceremony?
EMPEROR BELOS: i will not be healing her.
LILITH CLAWTHORNE: but you promised me.
EMPEROR BELOS: don't be so naive, lilith. this is the titan's will. all wild witches must be dealt
with before the day of unity. *crouches down a bit and gets behind lilith* you understand, don't
you?
LIITH CLAWTHORNE: *scared* of course.
EMPEROR BELOS: good. *gets up and walks away but turns around to lilith* oh, one more thing. *snaps fingers as owlbert
and the staff he gets on appears in lilith's hands* destroy the owl lady's staff. she won't be needing it anymore. *walks away*
lilith is left alone with her sister's staff and palisman completely ashamed that what she did and joining the emperor's coven so she could
fix her mistake and help eda her own sister cure her curse. but now...lilith realizes that she doomed her own sister and it should of been her
not her sister...her.
carson walks up to lilith and passes her but stops as he turns his head the left to speak to lilith.
CARSON: ...i hope it was worth lilith. because now you just lost your sister forever. *walks away*
those words hit lilith like a arrow as she got on her knees and sobs feeling nothing but guilt and regret, wishing
she could of changed things in the past.
