Note⚠️ : This is not the original chapter I wrote for the epilogue. I received warnings and messages from Wattpad again, and I became afraid that they would take down this book as well. To mitigate this risk, I have rewritten the entire chapter to make it less mature and violent. Additionally, I had to alter the ending plot to be less exciting, in my opinion. I apologize for these changes, but it was necessary to comply with the platform's guidelines. Thank you for understanding.

epilogue pt1: Joy in Every Step

_________________________

Time doesn't slow down to accommodate people's desires; it marches on relentlessly, leaving behind those who fail to seize every precious moment of their lives.

For Jimin, his life and time had seemed to pass aimlessly and swiftly, without his consent. Though he hadn't lived for long, he had lived long enough. Yet, for him, his true journey began the moment he set foot inside the Jeon mansion.

The initial year he spent with Jungkook and the others was a whirlwind. He utilized that time to grow, learn, love, progress, and reflect on his past. No matter how much he contemplated the trials he had endured, the ordeals they had subjected him to, the time he had lost, the life he had forfeited, and all the instances he had lost himself, he harbored no regrets. Thanks to Yoongi, Jin, Hoseok, Namjoon, Taehyung, and especially Jungkook, he had learned to believe that it was not his choice, not his fault. What was lost remained lost, what was gone remained gone, and the past remained in the past.

The memories still caused him pain when they resurfaced, but they were just remnants—faded recollections he would never have to vocalize again. They would continue to fade and dissipate in the corridors of time until they vanished entirely.

Moreover, aside from the time spent in this extraordinary house with these extraordinary people, living a happy and peaceful existence, Jimin had also endured his fair share of pain and burdens. Yet, unlike before he arrived here, he found six incredible human beings by his side whenever he stumbled, faltered, or suffered.

Furthermore, when Jungkook instructed the others to teach him self-defense and self-confidence, Jimin never anticipated nor contemplated the day he would hold a gun in his hands and actually use it. He never imagined he would take someone's life without remorse since the day he was born.

But here he was, three years in the mansion, considering himself alive for three years and counting. In his logical reasoning, he was still young and learning. This was merely his first step.

Merely 24 hours after his Fiery romance with Jungkook, Jimin found himself standing before the very man who had shattered his life and the woman who had given birth to him.

After waking up in the afternoon following their passionate encounter, they had a serious conversation about his feelings toward the woman in the basement, his fear of blood, and numerous other weighty topics.

It was unexpected for Jungkook to engage in such serious and violent discussions or work-related matters with him, which left Jimin feeling confused. Nevertheless, he answered every question posed to him.

'Do you want to meet her?' Jungkook had asked him, expecting a straightforward answer. Jimin didn't hesitate; he didn't need to ponder or take time to consider the proposition. It was a simple response for him.

'I don't care,' he replied, his words brief and concise. Why should he care, after all?

In truth, when he told Jungkook, that he couldn't recall the details—only the "who" and the "why"—he wasn't intentionally lying, but it wasn't the whole truth either.

Frankly, he was haunted by those memories far more than he desired. They plagued his dreams, revealing a depth of knowledge beyond what he disclosed to Jungkook.

Deep down, he yearned for those lost memories, those nine years of his life that remained a blank canvas. He wished he could remember more than he currently did.

Even though he couldn't recall the pain and trauma associated with those forgotten memories, they still haunted him in his dreams. Night after night, they materialized as vivid nightmares that evaporated upon waking, especially when he found Jungkook by his side. These nightmares would fade away each morning, even if Jungkook wasn't physically present. He recognized the effects they had on him, the remnants of what had been done, but they no longer inflicted any pain.

They were just dreams, distorted and haunting, not genuine memories. So, he convinced himself that he was fine, that everything was okay, that he was alright.

However, there were still emotions and sentiments buried within those dreams. He didn't care about the woman referred to as "his mother" or the man who had caused him so much suffering. But he despised them both.

The reason behind his hatred was simple—they made Jungkook cry. Witnessing Jungkook shed tears over Jimin's pain inflicted a profound hurt within him, one that cut deeper than anything he had experienced before.

as he was engaged in a serious conversation with Jungkook, he wasn't aware of the significance of it. The sudden curiosity displayed by Jungkook regarding his fear of blood didn't register with him until a few hours later when Yoongi called to inform Jungkook that the woman had successfully encountered B.K. And their location had been surrounded by their men.

apparently, While Jimin and Jungkook had been consumed by their love, Taehyung and the others had diligently carried out their plan. Jimin breathed a sigh of relief, but deep down, he couldn't shake off his lingering concerns. His worry for Jungkook intensified, and a sense of guilt washed over him. Jimin recognized that Jungkook, already exhausted and sleep-deprived, needed rest. Yet, his horny ass had to convince his husband to have sex.

Jungkook reassured him that he was fine and managed to get a few hours of sleep, allowing his mind to regain focus. However, guilt clung to Jimin, it wasn't something easy to rid of, or so thought jimin.

But now, standing in front of the man and the woman who were responsible for his torment, Jimin felt an unexpected calm settle over him. It was as if a part of him had detached, observing the situation from a distance.

Earlier, when Jimin arrived at the abandoned building with Jungkook, he discovered that the place was surrounded by a group of jungkook's black men,  jimin still hate them, don't ask him why.

In the vast expanse of the desolate building, Jimin's attention was abruptly drawn to a familiar face being mercilessly tortured. Meanwhile,  his mother stood in a corner, caught between Hoseok and Namjoon, her face a mix of anguish and fear.

Jungkook handed him a gun and allowed him a moment to contemplate his decision. It was crucial for Jimin to decide whether he was willing to fully commit to their chosen course of action. With a resolute nod, Jimin mustered his courage and advanced toward the bloodied man, who was still enduring the relentless onslaught inflicted by Yoongi.

Jimin was all too aware of the severity of Yoongi's punishments. They were notorious for their brutality, leaving lasting scars both physically and emotionally.

As he and Jungkook neared the man, a whirlwind of contrasting emotions engulfed him. On one hand, he grappled with uncertainty, unsure of how he would carry out this task due to his inexperience with guns. On the other hand, a strange sense of shame intermingled with a peculiar excitement.

Who in their right mind feels exhilarated about taking someone's life? Yet, here he stood, reluctantly acknowledging that Yoongi's teachings might finally prove worthwhile.

As they cautiously approached the man, coming within mere inches of him, Jimin crouched down to closely examine his face. A wave of confusion washed over him as he observed the man before him. Despite the fact that this man, who seemed barely awake and unaware of his surroundings, and the woman in the corner, who was visibly distressed and gazing at him with sorrowful eyes, were responsible for the trauma that had shattered his life, caused his descent into hell, and resulted in his memory loss and everything in between, being in their presence failed to trigger any recollection or even the slightest hint of a flashback.

Jimin studied the man intently, trying to extract any fragment of recognition. All he could grasp was that this man was the one who had kidnapped him before. Though he could recall a few fragments of his ordeal, thanks to the relentless nightmares that haunted him, the faces in those dreams remained hazy and indistinct.

With a heavy sigh, Jimin turned his gaze towards Yoongi, who still had a firm grip on the man's hair. "Hyung," Jimin inquired, his voice soft, "Can he see and hear, or have you damaged his eardrums?"

The bloodied man emitted a sinister chuckle upon hearing Jimin's gentle voice, his words escaping as a broken murmur amidst coughs of blood. "Isn't it Park Jimin?" he muttered, his voice fractured, "I can recognize your voice anywhere, still as small and feminine as ever. Haven't you grown up at all?"

Yoongi's grip tightened, reflecting his growing frustration with the man's insolence. His voice dripped with restrained fury as he responded, "You're in no position to speak." His words carried a warning tone. "Looks like I didn't do a good enough job silencing you. I might have to try again."

Jimin's brows furrowed upon hearing the man's feeble attempt at mockery. Intrigued, he asked, "Why would I need to grow up? I never had a childhood. I've only recently begun to experience growth."

The man's feeble chuckle echoed through the tense air, mingling with the heaviness of the situation. Jimin's gaze bore into the man, his mind racing with questions and frustration. How could this man, the source of his torment, recognize him while he struggled to piece together his own identity? Memories remained elusive, a puzzle with missing pieces that refused to reveal themselves.

As the man's coughs grew more violent, spattering blood across his already bruised face, Jimin couldn't help but feel a strange mix of relief and anger intertwining within him.

The man taunted him, mocking his lack of a childhood. "No childhood?" he sneered. "Well, I'm just a scientist, but you should blame your mother for what she did to her only son. How could she commit such a terrible act? But let me tell you, I enjoyed it. And now, even if I'm on the verge of death, I feel proud. I've left behind something that all of you will remember me for, haven't I, Junior Jeon?" He chuckled weakly, his voice breaking as he struggled to open his eyes and focus on Jimin's abdomen.

Yoongi's grip on the man tightened, his knuckles turning white. His eyes burned with a fierce determination, mirroring the rage brewing within Jimin's own heart. "Enough games," Yoongi spat, his voice brimming with a potent blend of anger and resolve. "Boss, should we end him right away?"

Jungkook, positioned nearby, closely observed the situation. Recognition passed between them, and he nodded, silently seeking Jimin's approval.

Jimin took a moment, steadying his breathing and finding his center. With a calm resolve, he addressed jungkook, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Just give me a moment, hyungie," he requested, acknowledging the urgency of the situation. Then, he turned his attention back to the tormented man, locking eyes with him. "Tell me honestly, is there any danger posed to my child?"

The man weakened and on the brink of collapse, strained to form words through his ragged breaths. A sinister grin tugged at the corners of his bloodied lips.  "Oh, Jimin," he jeered, his voice strained and dripping with malice. "Are you fretting over that inconsequential little thing growing inside you? How sweet. But don't assume I possess any knowledge of it. I wasn't even 2% certain the experiment would succeed, so I remain oblivious to what lies ahead and how to confront it. Consequently, your well-being and the condition of your offspring are no longer of any concern to me."

Jimin's expression remained stoic as he absorbed the man's words. He had anticipated the lack of information the man possessed, but some of him still held onto a glimmer of hope.

"So you are utterly useless," he stated coldly, his eyes fixed unwaveringly on the man before him. With determination in his every move, Jimin swiftly found his footing, steadying himself as he raised the firearm, pointing it directly at the man's forehead. The seconds that followed stretched into eternity as the room became engulfed in an eerie silence, Then, in a deafening roar, the gunshot shattered the stillness, reverberating throughout the room, marking a critical turning point.

As the gunshot echoed through the room, the man's body slumped, lifeless, to the ground. A mixture of relief and peace washed over Jimin, accompanied by a surge of adrenaline. He had taken a life, a decisive act that couldn't be undone. It was an unfamiliar sensation, one that left him confused but mostly confident.

Jungkook's watchful eyes immediately shifted to Jimin's side. With swift action, he gently seized the gun from Jimin's trembling hand and tenderly pressed his lips against Jimin's forehead and then his lips, a gesture filled with affection and reassurance. Pulling him into a tight embrace, Jungkook whispered, "I'm so proud of you," his face illuminated by a broad smile that conveyed his genuine admiration.

Yoongi, still gripping the man's lifeless body, released his hold and stepped back, his expression hardened with a touch of satisfaction.

In the corner of the room, Jimin's birth mother stood motionless, her countenance mirroring a blend of shock and anguish. Namjoon and Hoseok remained steadfast, holding her in place to prevent any interference or escape. Despite their grip on the woman, they couldn't help but convey a subtle sense of satisfaction toward Jimin. Their pleased smiles served as silent messages.

Though the woman's face displayed fear and sorrow, she had witnessed the demise of the man who had once been her lover and partner in tormenting Jimin, her own son. The realization of her complicity and the consequences that followed bore into her soul.

Jimin's gaze flickered from the woman to his husband, a mixture of curiosity and anticipation in his eyes. He spoke in a soft, gentle voice, tinged with a hint of mischief, "What about her, hyungie?"

Jungkook, enveloping Jimin in a tight embrace, pondered for a moment before responding, his arms providing a sense of security. He lowered his head slightly, resting his chin on Jimin's shoulder as if seeking solace in their connection. "What would you like to do, my dear?"

A mischievous grin danced across Jimin's lips as he replied, his voice silky smooth, devoid of any remorse. "Eliminate her," he uttered, his desire unabashed. "I've always wanted to witness you doing so "

the woman stood frozen, her eyes widening in disbelief and horror at the conversation unfolding before her,  The consequence of her actions, her choices, and her role in the torment of her own son crashed upon her like a tidal wave. She stumbled backward, gasping for air as her trembling hands clutched at her chest, desperately seeking support.

Emotions surged within her, causing tears to pool in her eyes, distorting her view as she grappled with the enormity of her transgressions. Namjoon and Hoseok tightened their grip on her as they swiftly applied a gag to prevent her from interfering with jimin and jungkook's conversation. Meanwhile, Yoongi silently withdrew, his fatigued figure dragging the lifeless body away from the scene.

Jungkook's arms instinctively pulled Jimin closer, his grasp growing tighter as he absorbed his words. A playful glimmer danced in his eyes. With a teasing tone, he responded, "Oh, am I detecting a hidden desire, a secret kink perhaps?"

As Jimin's cheeks flushed with a mixture of surprise and embarrassment, he playfully nudged Jungkook's chest, attempting to regain some composure "Don't let your imagination run wild. I didn't utter those words," he muttered, a faint smile dancing on his lips.

Jungkook's grin widened, his eyes sparkling with mischief as he leaned closer, his warm breath tickling Jimin's ear. The affectionate tone in his voice sent a shiver down Jimin's spine. "Oh, come on, my beautiful one," he whispered, his voice dripping with seduction. "You can't deceive me that easily. We've been together for such a long time, and I know you better than anyone else. And I can sense your undeniable excitement poking my thigh "

Jimin's cheeks burned with an even deeper hue of crimson, his slip-up dawning on him in full force. Embarrassment mingled with pulsating anticipation, creating an electric atmosphere charged with tension between him and Jungkook.

"Alright, maybe I can't deny that you'd look incredibly attractive," Jimin confessed, his voice laced with timidity. "I can't help but think so."

Jungkook's eyes glistened with a delightful blend of amusement and longing as he tenderly caressed Jimin's cheek. "Well then, I suppose I have no other option," he murmured, his voice brimming with affection. "As your devoted husband, it's my duty to fulfill this request for you."

Jungkook released Jimin, gently pecking his lips before stepping back. With a small smile, he nodded at Hoseok and Namjoon, signaling for them to release their grip on the mother. As they let go, the woman's eyes filled with tears, and she desperately tried to plead with them, her gaze filled with sorrow and regret. However, her voice was muffled by the gag that silenced her silent plea.

Without hesitating for even a moment, Jungkook swiftly took action. He aimed his gun and fired, ending the woman's life.
