"C'mon let's go!" Kenzo, the guard shouted motioning people to come out and go for dinner.
This been my life for a while now. Been here for eighteen months now and it drives the shit out of me.
"Yoh Denna, I said take yo black ass in the hall." Kenzo yelled snapping me out of my thoughts. Ugh! This life.
I hate being controlled. I hate orders. And I freaking hate this.
Kenzo shot me a death glare and trust me if looks could kill, I would have been six feet under.
"I'm I speaking fucking Spanish?!" He spitted angrily, getting even more pissed that I haven't made any effort moving.
Fuck him!
I lazily stood up from my small-sized bed, making sure I'm making my movements as slow as possible, ofcourse to get him more pissed.
Take that!
"I fucking swear..." I cut him mid-sentence "Piss off!" Just to give him a sassy comeback.
"You son of a..." bhang! I slammed the door at this face making sure he knows his fucking place.
And with that, I head for dinner going out of my small black- painted room, with a large king size bed, a chair and a toilet just incase I need to piss.
Passing through the long corridors with guards everywhere and some prisoners in freaking orange jumpsuits, (as if I ain't wearing one!) I hear people snickering around and some are even gathered in small groups as if waiting for something.
"What's good dawg!" Kyle greets me with a fist bump making our way to our table. Our special table. He actually got us food, my favourite to be precise. It was a French toast with apple juice. I must admit, jail life has really got to me.
"All chilled bruh. Why's them niggas snickering and looking excited like bitches?" I brought up the topic as soon as we started digging into our food. He looked equally confused but he answered me anyway.
"Don't you know?" He says in a matter-of-fact way.
"About your death date? Nigga I do." I snap at him and he chuckles.
"You can be an ass sometimes Tristan" Kyle curses throwing a pickle at me.
"Well and you are the biggest dick I've met."
We kept on firing sassy comments at each other till shit went down. God this guy. That's why I like him. Remind me to tell him later.
"Alright man, people just been talking about this new black ass chick in the hood, that's all." He stated as if it were a normal thing.
"Its rare for black girls to get in here man" I told him with clear curiosity. "Well shit happ..." before he could finish, a black girl showed up at the main door...and gaddamn!!! Yep. That has to be her.
