A mentor, a guide, my father so wise,
Teaching me lessons through his eyes.
The reason why i am bold
Are the words of my father so gold.
He held my hand, and taught me to walk,
He spoke golden words and taught me to talk.
Whenever i was lost,
He made sure to find me.
His comforting presence,
And his meaningful lessons,
Always made sure i wasn't lead astray.
He is the medicine to my pain,
He is reason for my confidence gain.
Because of all his sacrifices,
I never had to face a crisis.
My life would have been a mess,
If i hadn't followed the lessons learned from my dad.
He is the pillar of strength
Quiet and still at length
A shelter from the rain,
A beautiful thought in my brain.
Without him my life would be so plain.
I was looking for a place,
Where i would find peace.
I went to my father,
And found solace.
