Danielle was at the mini mart, getting some soda. A Caucasian woman gave her a dirty look. "What's a black woman doing here?" she asked.
"Were you talking to me?" demanded Danielle.
"I hate your kind so much!" sneered the woman.
"That will be enough!" said the mini mart clerk. "You shouldn't judge someone by the color of their skin! It doesn't if you're black or white, we all breathe the same blood!"
"Facts!" nodded a Hispanic woman, getting a bag of Ruffles. "You okay, dear?"
"Yes, I'm fine," said Danielle.
"If you're not gonna buy anything, I suggest you leave!" said the mini mart clerk.
The Caucasian woman left, and Danielle paid for her items. Being a person of color, she was a strong advocate for keeping racism at a minimum.
