"congratulations on a successful dance concert..all of your performances was amazing you showed the entire city of Pittsburgh why we are ranked nationally in the country as one of the top dance studios, now keep in mind this is the road to nationals this is where it gets tough this week we will be travelling to California to go to the ihollywood competition"
we all cheer
"at the bottom of the pyramid i have Paige, you couldn't do to much with the boot i understand we want it to heal you were supposed to see a doctor at four weeks"
"she's going this week" Kelly says
"so let's hope Paige that you're going to be dancing again" Abby says
"next Brooke, Brooke the hip hop dance really wasn't your thing"
"next Mackenzie, Kenzie you went out there and you looked just like the big girls however i thought the hiphop choreography was a bit over your head"
"moving on i have Nia, you revived the award for the most improved student and that is something to be very proud of however like i said before do not rest on your loyals"
"next Chloe, Chloe i thought you had an amazing performance from start to finish"
"next Camila, Trapped i thought you did amazing in the role"

"and at the top of the pyramid is Maddie, Maddie you're on top of the pyramid cause you won the scholarship in your age division"
"Kendall you can see you're not on the pyramid yet keep working, keep trying and you might get on this team"

"Mackenzie you have a solo, you gotta do the whole number..Nia you also have a solo now i have one more solo to give out who wants it?" Abby asks

me, Chloe and Maddie raise our hands
"it's going to Chloe" Abby says
i give Chloe a smile
"everybody is in the group routine..Kendall i'm inviting you too travel to California with us to participate in the group number"
we clap for Kendall

we learn the group and it's very similar to Where Have All The Children Gone
"it's step together..you're rushing that" Abby says
"hey there's no getting out of this group so learn it" Abby says to Kenz
two people walk in a mom and daughter and she's like auditioning for the group?
the mom is called Kiya and the daughter is Nicaya
and Abby puts her in the group
Nicaya is a really nice girl but this is the first time someone who isn't from our studio has joined us..
Kendall did dance here before she joined the team.
|Three Days To Competition|
"hey!" i say as we walk into the dancers den
"i wonder of that girl is coming today" Kendall says
"if i had to take a guess i'd say uh-huh" Jill says
"i can't believe she had that on her shirt!" Kelly says
"it said Black Patsy" Holly says
"i'm white Christi!" mom laughs
"you're black Holly" Kelly says
Holly laughs
Kiya and Nicaya then walk into the dancers den
"hi" we all say
"hi how are you" Holly says
"what do you want the girls to call you?" Jill asks
"oh my nickname is Nini" Nicaya says
"oh they call you Nini?" Jill asks
"i'll call you Laquifa now." Kendall says
"Laquifa what?" we all laugh
"come on girls let's go let's go let's go" Abby calls

we go from the top of the routine and Nicaya is doing Paiges part
"go..two..three...four..drop" Abby says
"Abby..excuse me can i have Paige? it's time for her doctors appointment" Kelly says
"go ahead..go, good luck" Abby says
we carry on with the routine for a while
"i don't want to hear your feet hit the ground!" Abby says
Paige and Kelly comes in and Paige doesn't have a boot!
"what did the doctor say?" Abby asks
"she got cleared she's allowed to dance" Kelly says
"yay!" Chloe squeals and me Chloe and Maddie run to hug Paige
"but she's not allowed to do tricks for two more weeks" Kelly adds
"okay." Abby says
"he said to do it very limited" Kelly says

"spread apart!" Abby says
we do the routine and it looks so good
but Abby keeps switching Paige with Nicaya and vice versa
"alright ladies i want you all to know that Paige just came to me and said can she mark the fan kick because it hurts her supporting foot." Abby says
Abby then gets Paige to just sit out.
and everything blows up..

we arrive at the competition and it's exciting to be in California!
mom helps Chloe get ready for her solo
and we go to the audience
Chloe performs first and
i think she absolutely nailed her solo
Nia performs next
and she absolutely nailed it
a true professional
Kenzie performs next
and she nailed her solo
she was so cute and her tricks were clean
we go back to the dressing room and i hug Chloe
mom then helps me and Chloe get ready for the group
and there's a big commotion about who's dancing
overall Abby let's Paige and Nicaya do the routine
we head backstage
"i'm so nervous" Paige says
"you'll nail it" Chloe says
"welcome to the stage I See The Kite Flying" the announcer says
we all enter and we start the performance
i try to act it out because there's no music
it's just speaking
i think we all pulled it off though

for solos
Mackenzie got third
Nia got tenth
and Chloe got fifth
"moving onto our top junior oscar small groups" the announcer says
"in second place this is in the genre of lyrical act number 72 I Believe"
"and drumroll please for your top junior oscar small group..from Abby Lee Dance Company I See The Kite Flying"
we cheer and we get up to get our award
"and who choreographed your routine?"
"Miss Abby Lee" Nicaya says
we go back to the dressing room and mom hugs me and Chloe
"yay congratulations Chloe for making the top five..congratulations Nia for making the top ten..Nicaya you and mom are being pretty quiet..you had alot to say on the microphone" Abby says
"what do you mean?" Kiya asks
"this goes to the rest of you, you're going to let the new girl walk in and get the microphone and get to speak? don't let the new kid come in and push you out of the way" Abby says
"you did the same thing with Paige today." Kelly says
we then leave the room to get our makeup off
