*Kim pov*
It's January 25th and today I'm 20 weeks, so we're halfway there!
We're also holding a little gender reveal party, I'm the only one that knows what it is, it's a surprise even for Seb, so as he's downstairs welcoming both our families an closest friends, Mel, Micah an old classmate of his and Chris, I'm in our room getting ready, my eyeshadow and dress will be blue or pink and that's how they'll know.
My hands are shaking a little as I finish to out make up on, I take a deep breath and exhale, don't even know why I'm this nervous!
A few minutes later as I take my appearance in the mirror there's a knock on the door
"Yes?"
"Doll everyone's here"
"Give me a minute"
"Sure"
*Seb pov*
I go back downstairs and make everyone stand in the living room watching the stairs
"Coming!" Kim says
I feel my moms hand slip into mine and squeezing it a little, I look at her and smile.
I see Kim's feet approaching the top of the stairs and she carefully and slowly makes her way down.
I wait to see her dress color and as soon as I see the hem of it I lean down a little and take a peak cause I can't wait anymore.
"Ehy!" She says to me
I see it, I can see it and it's blue!
I shriek and go up to her, not giving her the time to step down the last five steps, bring her into full view to everyone and twirl around
"I love you"
"Love you too" she says before kissing my lips softly
"Grandson!!!" Her father shouts
They all walk to us and give big hugs
"We're having a boy" I whisper
"A little baby boy"
"Are you happy doll?"
"You know I always wanted a boy"
I smile at her and kiss her forehead, letting my lips linger there for a moment.
"Nephew to spoil!" Mel and Chris say to his handing us a box
"Go on, open it" Mel encourages
We sit down and open it as some of the guests watch us while others serve the dessert Kim made.
"Aw you guys!" Kim says holding the gift card from from "buybuybaby"
"Thank you so much!" I say standing up and bringing them both into a hug, Kim following me
"To the parents and a beautiful baby boy!" Mark says giving us each a piece of cake and something to drink
"To the parents and a beautiful baby boy!" The others say cheering
We all sit back down to eat and then once we're done proceed to take turns for pictures, of course we're getting those printed.
Mel comes next to us after a couple of hours into the party, putting a hand right next to mine on Kim's belly
"I still can't believe sometimes you know..." she says
"Yeah...tell me that"
"I can't wait to have him here" Kim says leaning her head on my shoulder
"Have you thought of names?"
"No, we wanted to wait and know the gender first"
"I guess we can start tonight" I tell the girls
Mel smiles at us before kissing our cheeks and standing up
"Where are you going?"
"I'm sorry but I need to go back home, gotta wake up early tomorrow" she lives a couples of hours from NY, she moved there for work three years ago
"Ok..." Kim says sadly
"I'll be back next weekend, I promise"
"No we can come visit you" I say and Kim agrees
"I'll wait for you"
"Thank you for today!" Kim says to her
"Thank you for having me! Love you both and my nephew"
We walk her to the door and say one last goodbye before watching her drive away.
Once back in I help my mom and Linda clean things up while letting Kim chat with the rest.
"You're the happiest you've ever been" my mom says as we're washing dishes
"I am, all thanks to her" I say looking at Kim laughing with mark, Chris and our fathers
"And she's just the same" Linda says side hugging me, as she does so Kim turns to us and I send her a kiss, making her smile before giving her attention to the boys.
Once we're alone at nine pm we sit on the couch cuddling watching the pictures we took this afternoon and choose one to share on Instagram
