"girls let's go!" Abby calls
"where are Paige and Kelly?" Abby asks
"they're at the doctors" Brooke says
"today?" Abby asks
"i think it's more serious than just a toe." mom says
"she said it's really swollen." Melissa says
"oh my goodness" Abby says
"i told her not to fool around..kids do you understand that your body is your instrument that you need to take care off it and i said girls don't fool around there's cement underneath the carpet i remember vividly saying that"
"where's Jill?" mom asks
"Jill is not an official member of this competition team she'd like to think so but i may forgive people but i don't forget so.
congratulations are in order we had an amazing trip to Lancaster, i entered four solos and i had four girls in the top ten" Abby says
i smile and we all clap
"this week we are going to Philadelphia Pennsylvania..let's start with the pyramid" Abby says
"on the bottom we have Paige, she had an outstanding performance she was sixth overall highscore and then accidents happen she might be out a week or she'll be able to dance today."
"moving on Mackenzie, Mackenzie if you're going to go to competition you're there to learn"
"and next i have Chloe, Chloe you did a nice job you didn't do a solo or a duet so it's a little difficult to judge but you did a great job in the group dance"
"and next Brooke, Brooke because of your maturity during rehearsal all week is why you're here."
"and third on the pyramid is Nia, Nia you went out there and sold that number"
"and second on the pyramid Camila, you won another title well done keep it up"
i smile and nod
"and on top of the pyramid is Maddie, Maddie you're there because you beat everybody else there you were the highest score the judges have out"
we clap for Maddie

"alright now we're all in the group dance expect Mackenzie, Mackenzie you have a solo...Maddie you'll also be doing a solo..Brooke you have a solo this week..you'll be doing the diary of Anne Frank" Abby says
"Chloe you have asked me for years about a duet with you and Paige this is the week."
i smile to Chloe
"moms i'm going to go ahead and dismiss you, you can go..girls get the ballet barre out we're gonna start at the barre"
|Group Rehearsals|
we learn the group routine and it's a very cute routine and i really like it
"come on" Abby says
Paige and Kelly walks in...and Paige has a boot
i gasp
Chloe runs over and hugs Paige
"we just got back from the authoapedic doctor it's broken." Kelly says
i walk over and i hug Paige
"yup four to six weeks she can't dance"
"no! four to six weeks?" Abby says
"Chloe's crying" Paige says
"do you wanna know why Chloes crying? cause you got your duet this week" Abby says
"oh Paige..i don't want to fight with you Kelly, i think it's important she learnt the same i think she should be in here with a notebook, she's part of the team she should be here"
we carry on with the routine and Paige sits at the back with a notebook
|Three Days To Competition|
"so Kendall looking for a replacement for duet for Paige..Maddie is not auditioning because she has a solo this week..let's have Chloe and Nia do it" Abby says
Chloe answers Nia do the duet
"Nia some things are great i just don't think you look good with her it's a little off it's a little quirky you don't dance exactly the same you dance very much different."
"let me see Chloe and Camila"
me and Chloe do the duet and i try my best because i think it would be cool to do a duet with Chloe
"you look good with the choreography, you look good with your sister..i just don't think this is the right duet for you." Abby says
i nod
"okay let me see you and Kendall"
Kendall and Chloe do the duet
the moms then come in about the duet
and Holly gets mad
and then Abby gets mad
|Group Rehearsals|
we rehearse Kendall into the group and Maddie isn't here because she's filming for Drop Dead Diva
"alright ladies we have two days does this number have what it takes? i don't think so you have to get in and you have to be fabulous" Abby says
|Competition Day|
we arrive at StarBound and we head to our dressing room
"oh there it is ALDC" Abby says
we set up our tables and mom helps me and Chloe get ready for the group routine
"come on girls let's go" Abby says
we head backstage and me and Maddie mark through the routine
"you got this" i say
"let's hope" Maddie smiles
"right up next int he musical theatre small group category Alouette!" the announcer says
we all enter the stage one by one
i make sure my technique is one point and that my ballet training comes through
i think we pulled it off
we come back to the dressing room
"good job guys" Kelly says
"did you see the part i messed up?" Brooke asks
i hug mom and i start to get back into comfier clothes
Abby comes back and she isn't happy

"alright folks we are going to find out who our top junior group is..third place with a 287 it goes to The School of Music" the announcer says
"second place with a 288 Henry Dance Centre!"
"it's now time to announce our top overall junior group winner..give it up for Alouette from the Abby Lee Dance Company!"
we cheer and we get our award i high five Maddie
we come back cheering and mom hugs me and Chloe
"congratulations ladies! i saw a lot of mistakes how did you pull that out?" Abby says
Mackenzie and Brooke gets ready for their solos
and basically Brooke isn't doing her solo because her back hurts..
Kenzie performs her solo
and she really nails it
i think she'll win
Maddie then performs her solo
and even though she missed a day of practise
she still nailed it
the duet is the last to perform
and i think they looked really good
i really liked the music

Kenzie got second
Maddie got first
and the trio got first place!
we go back to the dressing room and we cheer
"congratulations ladies!" Abby says
"good job Maddie" Chloe says
"good girl!" Abby says and she hugs Maddie
"i saw you step into those turns..you nailed those huh? talk about Drop Dead Diva you are the diva..yes good job"
"listen i've blocked out the whole Drop Dead Diva thing because i wanted you to concentrate on this number but now that the group won and your solo is finished i want to see what they had you do..so can you show it to me? i'm sure everyone else wants to see it too"
Maddie gets up and does her routine
i bite my lip
"you're just kinda rubbing it in everybody's face." mom says
"i'm not rubbing it in everybody's face" Abby says
"it's your name and your reputation..don't you want them to step their best foot forward" mom says
"so i think that the next time we have the opportunity to do an audition that everybody should get the opportunity." Kelly says
Melissa then takes Maddie out of the room
"where is she going?" Abby asks
"i don't know where she's going" Holly says
"Maddie!" Abby calls
"it's because of the vultures in this room that the kid has to.." Abby says
"no Abby, and you know what Abby you know who creates the vultures it's you! because you try to turn all these kids against their friend and that little girl is mortified all the time but you don't care!" mom says
"how about being a rolemodel i have heard you say to her to that little nine year old girl, no one would be happy for you..everyone's jealous of you"
"you are! look at you!" Abby says
"no we're not! no we're not! you have sabotaged my daughters and the rest of these kids" mom says
"you're daughters are little sneaks!" Abby yells
my eyes widen and i cover my ears
my vision starts to blur
i'm not..i'm not a sneak
"how dare you call my daughters sneaks!" mom yells
i feel Brooke push me out of the room and i start to cry
"snake! sneak! sneak!" Abby yells
i cry into Brookes arms
we go across the hall and then the moms soon come out
"girls..girls." mom says
"i wanna go home.." i say
"i know..Holly is getting your things" mom says and she hugs me and Chloe
"it's okay..you're okay." mom whispers
Holly comes with our things and we go outside while mom calls a cab
i give Chloe a hug and i wipe my eyes
"let's go.." mom says and we get into the cab
