Y/N'S POV
-[fire crackling]
[Darius] "we thought it would it'd be fun.. We thought we'd be safe, but.."
I sighed and listened closely as Darius spoke with his hoodie over his head, he looked so serious..
[Darius] "we didn't realize the... horror waiting for us on the island."
-[fire crackling]
[Darius] "Claws... Screaming"
-[Sammy Gasps]
Sammy hugged her legs and listened closely to darius's story
[Darius] "So much screaming.."
I looked to my left and saw ben hugging kenji's arm in fear
[Ben] "how much screaming?" Ben spoke quietly
Kenji quickly shushed ben and spoke "Shh! He's getting to the good part."
Kenji spoke and leaned a little closer to Darius so he could listen to the story
I sighed and leaned against Brooklynn who was beside me
She sighed and took out her phone
[Darius] "the T-Rex stalked closer... Her Jaws opened wide.."
-[Camera Shutter clicks]
We all looked at Brooklynn who quickly snapped a pic of Darius right when he was about to tell everyone the scary part of the story
Darius sighed and took off his hood from his head in disappointment
"What?" kenji spoke in confusion before turning to Brooklynn
Brooklynn raised an eyebrow and looked at everyone before shrugging "for the vlog."
[Brooklynn] "keep telling you're little story."
Darius sighed and placed his hood over his head before continuing
[kenji] "oh, here we go.." he spoke and looked at Darius
[Darius] "the T-Rex sta--"
[Brooklynn] "Dang!"
Brooklynn cut off Darius as she looked at her phone in disappointment
"Ugh." Kenji groans in disappointment, he sighed and cupped his face in frustration
I sighed and looked at Brooklynn "did you really have to cut off Darius? He was at the good part!"
Brooklynn sighed and spoke "out of space, wait, I'm sorry, hold on.."
Darius rolls his eyes at Brooklynn before taking off his hood from his head
Just had to ruin the moment >:/
[Brooklynn] "i just dont wanna delete my selfie on everest, you know?"
Brooklynn spoke and showed her Pic to sammy and me, I couldn't help but smile
She looked so happy and the view is so foggy :')
I thought, Darius sighed and spoke quietly but just enough for everyone to hear
[Darius] "maybe I should just start over.."
After hearing this.. Ben quickly jolted up and shouted "No! Infact, you can just stop."
Darius eyes widened as soon as Ben shouted No
I looked at ben before crossing my arms "why? You scared?" i asked teasingly
He rolled his eyes before defending himself "N.. No! I'm not!" he spoke and held onto kenji's arm for protection
Kenji rolled his eyes at ben "Dude chill, he's not even telling the story right now. And How is you're grip that strong!?"
he said shockingly and tried moving his arm away from Ben's grip, ben rolled his eyes and held tighter on kenji's arm
[Darius] "so the T-Rex stalked--"
[Sammy] "shouldn't we call yasmina over? I bet she'd love this Story"
Sammy spoke, not realizing she quickly cut off darius
He sighed in disappointment, I looked at Darius with sympathy in my eyes
I guess the story will never be told..
I thought before sighing softly
Darius gave up and laid down on the wooden seat
"Maybe she wants to be by Herself?" Brooklynn told everyone her thought
Sammy looks at yasmina before turning back to everyone with a blank expression "i don't understand."
I couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction
[Kenji] "you know how sometimes people just wanna be left alone?"
Sammy glared at kenji before chuckling
I sighed and shook my head smiling
[Sammy] "Kenji, you're hilarious! I think she's just shy and doesn't know how to make camp friends."
I sighed and nodded "hm.. Maybe you're righ--"
Before I could finish my sentence there was a loud thunder above us making everyone scream in shock
I quickly covered my ears, sammy whimpers and covers her ears
Everyone gasps and looks up as it started to rain heavily
I was not expecting this
I thought, I sighed and spoke "let's get inside guys"
Ben quickly runs and starts heading towards the entrance before shouting back "way ahead of you!"
[Kenji] "Aw, man!" he spoke while groaning in disappointment
[Sammy] "Oh, it's coming down fast."
The others quickly headed inside as I stayed outside in the rain with darius
He laid there with a look of hatred in his eyes as he scoffed
"thanks, Brooklynn.."
I smiled and walked towards him, he sighed and looked at me before his expression turned soft
"cmon Dino-nerd" i held out my hand for him to take, he looked down and hesitated on taking it
He sighed and took my hand before giving it a gentle squeeze "thanks.."
"no probs but we should definitely get inside now."
He nodded as we walked towards the entrance with our hands interlaced

Darius's POV
I held her hand and walked inside, Ben was talking about how my story wasn't great or scary
I rolled my eyes and held Y/N's hand a bit tighter
She noticed and looked at me with a soft look on her face "you ok?"
I sighed and forced myself to smile "yeah I'm okay.."
She nodded and looked at everyone, I sighed and led Y/N to the couch
Yasmina was there doing something with her book or notebook.. Or something, but I know it's a book.
We both sat down with our hands still interlaced, I couldn't help but smile in secret
How comforting..
My thoughts were quickly cut off, by sammy who jump on the couch telling Yasmina that SHE needed a friend
I chuckled and leaned against the couch as I listen to their conversation

Yasmina's POV
I sighed and sat down on the couch with my sketchbook, it had a little bit of water because of the rain
I quickly wiped it off by using my sleeves "ugh.. My pages are wet.."
I muttered under my breath as I quickly wiped it off
"YOU NEED A FRIEND!" Sammy shouts and jumps on the couch beside me, I yelped and held my sketchbook against my chest in fear of dropping it
I almost dropped it, goddammit sammy!
"What!?" i spoke confusingly
She smiled and crawled closer, I held my sketchbook firmly before raising an eyebrow at sammy
She face-palmed herself before speaking with a awkward smile on her face
"I'm such a ding-dong! You're alone, and when I feel alone, having a friend around sure is nice. I could use a friend and you probably could too! So I thought." yazmina needs someone to make the first friendship move!" so here I am!"
sammy spoke pretty fast with enthusiasm, I couldn't understand everything she said because it was pretty fast in my opinion
I just stared at her weirdly
The heck did you just say?
"Um, I lost you around "Ding-dong" i spoke honestly
Sammy smiles before looking at what I'm holding, she gasps in excitement "Is that a scrapbook? I love scrapbooking!"
I looked at my sketchbook and then at sammy
This isn't a scrapbook...
I thought, sammy smiled and spoke again as I held my sketch book firmly
"we can make one together, pull you out of you're she'll."
I furrowed my eyebrows and held my sketchbook protectively
"I'm pretty happy in my shell." i spoke nervously
Sammy waved her hand not believing me in any way "No one likes the shell, it stops you from getting to know you!"
Y/N sighed in annoyance after hearing this "Sammy, Yas is happy inside her shell, maybe she's not ready to open up yet, especially since we just met her!"
Sammy shook her head in denial "she just doesn't know how to make a first move, Y/N, I'm just helping her!"
"that's not helping!!" Y/N spoke before sighing in frustration
"yes it is!"
"no it's not!"
The two girls started bickering on that's not right and yes it is
I sighed and walked away before passing by Brooklynn who went to sit on the couch

Y/N's POV
" for the last time, she isn't shy!"
"i know, she's just shy" sammy smiled and crossed her legs
"she does not want to get out of her shell, because she doesn't want to!" i spoke and furrowed my eyebrows
"she's just shy, she'll open up when I'm her friend!" sammy smiled proudly, I sighed and leaned against Darius finally giving up
Darius chuckled before noticing Brooklynn who sat next to him
[Brooklynn] "What are you guys talking about?"
Sammy smiled and crossed her arms "oh we were just talking about if yasmina is shy or not"
"she's not shy, she just doesn't want to open up."
Sammy rolled her eyes playfully before getting up "Okay guys, im gonna go to sleep now, goodnight amigos!"
I sighed and remove my head from his shoulder before letting out a long yawn "I'm coming with you.."
Sammy nodded before gesturing for me to take her hand
I smiled softly and took her hand and paused
I turn to Darius and Brooklynn who were sitting down in silence "Goodnight dude and dudette"
Brooklynn smiled and waved at the two of us, Darius smiled and spoke "Okay, goodnight, sweet dreams."
