i laugh a little hearing her as her amuse filled eyes watch me

She was wearing black skinny jeans and a flowy peach top, she had some converse on instead of heels.
We walk to the parking and I open her door as usual, she slips inside mumbling a soft thank you.
"You can roam around and explore the building, there are a few cafe's in there, some junk food, you don't have to pay for anything just so you know, jsut tell them your name"
"I feel like a gold digger" she pouts a bit
"No you aren't, don't call yourself degrading things" I tell her
"Would I be able to borrow a novel" she asks so softly, for a second I wonder if I should give all of me to her but I refrain for the moment
"What novel?" I ask
"Any, mhm so you know I would read anything even contracts but a romantic novel with tons of banter, angst, love would be wonderful"
"There is a library in my office, you can pick any" I let her know making her giggle a little as she sipped on my coffee yup, she had hers in the cupholder but still sips on mine
"Xan" gosh, no matter how many times I hear it, it will never be enough
"Yes, peach"
"Nothing" she whispered
She wanted to say something but I didn't push her one bit because I wanted her to be free, and not feel like she had to tell me.
"I want cookies" she says
"Ill get you some from the cafe in the office"
"Do they have Nutella ones or red velvet, maybe even peanut butter ones, ohhh you know what sounds really good, spicy chips" she says nodding
I wasn't sure if that was a question or if she was blabbering to herself because she tends to do that a lot
The rest of the way to the office, Allison was on about cookies, sometimes brownies and other food, none of them being healthy but thats another thing about her, she loves junk food but give her a carrot and she will glare at you like she is picturing you getting murdered or even better murdering you
"Holly shit face" she blurts out when I pull up in the parking lot, her eyes go all big as she tries to keep seated
"You haven't been here have you?" I ask
"No, no. this is beautiful, its so huge and big and nice. It must be filed with books, all kinds, even dark romance, maybe small town romance, oh my god is there an enemies to lovers one too, holly breed chicken loves" she screamed making me shake my head a little
She is like an innocent child, give her a shoe and she will play with it, hand her a cup of water and once she is done with the water, she will start balancing the cup on her feet or head. She is easily excitable and that's nice for me when I try and give her something in the future like a surprise
"Xan, this is amazing" she yells when I open her door to come outside
She stepped outside, her eyes wandering around making me wonder if brining her here was a bad idea, she is going to want to run around in the office and people are going to have questions since I am very uptight about people strolling around
she pulled on my arm asking to hurry up, I sigh as we walk inside, I earn a few good mornings and then my personal assistant Logan spots me.
"Good morning dude" he says
"Morning Logan, how are you?"
"Great, who is this pretty girl in your arms" he asks
"My wife, so back the fuck off"
"Allison" he asks
"Yeah Allison, can you get the meeting room ready" I ask
"Sure thing, does she talk or she is mute?" He asked
I chuckle a bit hearing that because Allison had not looked at anyone, she was exploring the place well her eyes were, her hand still on my arm as she tried not to run around.
"Hs his just distracted or she would eat your brains out, you will get along with her" I say
"She is out of your league bro" he said
"I know but she is mine" I am not possessive but she is mine and I don't let anyone take what's mine
"Idiot, I'm talking about others who will say that, you know who im talking about right?"
"Yeah, it's fine. Mhm meeting room in 10" I tell him

I continue walking to my cabin, Allison left my arm and ran around in my cabin, she was not holding back. I smile a little seeing how freely she was running around laughing
"Allison" I call grabbing my work laptop
Of course she doesn't hear me because the couch looks more interesting as she jumps on it
"Allison" she laughed as she jumped on the couch making me chuckle
I walk to the couch and grab her waist stopping her from jumping around, she pouts at me, ahh her lips are so kissable especially when she pouts at me unknowingly
"What" she whines
"Sit and listen to me for a second"
She sat down on the couch looking at me, I hadn't noticed how beautiful and big her eyes were, they were doe shaped like an innocent deer.
"Come in" I say hearing a knock on the door
"On the table is fine thank you" I say to the person bringing in food
Once he left, I turned back to Allison to see her looking at the book shelve I have in my office
"Hey look at me for a second" I say sitting beside her
Her eyes turn to me, as she smiles gently at me
"I have a couple back to back meetings, I will come back in a couple hours okay. You can help yourself to any book you want and I have food here for you as well, if you want or need anything else call me or you can call Jaxson, he is coming in a couple minutes" I explain to her
"Okay" she says, I knew she was still trying to wander and see what books I have, she was distracted
"Be safe okay" I say, she nods frantically
Leaning down I placed a soft kiss on her forehead making her giggle a bit, shit I just kissed her head, god, get a grip on yourself Alex.
"Mhm ill see you later" I say
She hummed as I walk out of my cabin and go into the meeting hall.
