With that I leave my phone down to charge to get ready for the day Pedri has planned for us.
"Wait what are we even doing today?"
"You'll just have to be patient" he tells me while pulling my hand up to his lips and leaves a kiss.
"But I need to know what to wear, what's suitable? Tell me that atleast"
"I mean me personally I would prefer to see you without any clothes on but that's only for me to see, not everyone else, so wear a dress"
"How romantic" I roll my eyes at him while walking over to my suitcase.
I have yet to pack so I rummage through and end up pulling out a white, frilly, open back dress.
I do light makeup and style my hair into a french braid. I grab my sandals and exit the bathroom to show Pedri.
"Shitttttt, I don't think there's anything you can't pull off Tate, every time I see you dressed up I feel like I'm falling in love with you all over again" he tells me while taking a deep breath.
"You really know how to make a girl feel special Pedri" I make my way over to him wrapping my hands around his neck to give him a kiss.
"We should be leaving before I ruin that outfit" he says quietly while guiding me out the door.
We take the elevator to the lobby and get taken away by an uber.
After a few minutes the car comes to a stop and we get out.
"This way Mi amor" he whispers, pointing to a path leading towards a gate.
"Pedri what is this? what are we doing?" I ask him extremely confused since all that I can see is a tall, brown gate surrounded by a bunch of trees.
"Tate I would've thought that since we're planning a family together you'd have atleast a bit of trust in me"
"I do trust you Pedri, you know I do, but right now I have no clue what this is." I mumble.
"Come on, open the gate and keep going down the path"
I listen to him and push the gate open. We follow the path for a few minutes until I see what he has set up.
"Oh my god, Pedri, this is beautiful, what is this place? How did you even-"
"Have a seat m'lady." he cuts me off while pulling out a chair from underneath the table.
In front of me is all my favourite foods with my favourite drinks, surrounding us is a flower garden with every flower under the sun, a water fountain reflecting the sunlight through the trees with the sounds of gushing water and the birds chirping brings me to a peaceful state.
"Pedri González you have outdone yourself here, this is everything I could ever want" I lean over the table and place my hands around his jaw, joining our lips together.
"I knew you'd like it, I thought that with the planning of the baby and eventually the pregnancy, we won't have a whole lot of time for extravagant dates, you also won't be able to drink alcohol or enjoy your favourite foods without them being mixed into weird cravings, and I know how much you love this kind of setup, so I created your ideal date for us"
"Pedri, I love you so much, I don't know what I did to deserve you but I must have gone right somewhere in life for this, this is everything I could ever want, you're all I could ever want"
"Now Tate, I hope you didn't think I was finished with the surprises, I have one more trick up my sleeve."
I stare at him in question as he gets up from his seat and walks over to me.
He puts his hand into his pocket, getting down on his right knee.
"Oh my god Pedri-"
"Tatum Cruz, ever since I laid my eyes on you for the first time I knew that we would have something special, the first time we dated I knew from the start of the relationship that I would be the man at the end of the aisle waiting for the love of his life to come up to him and become his wife, from the start I knew that we would have a family together, watch our family have their own family, we would grow old together and eventually rest together, I knew it from the start, even after the break up I still knew that we would end up with eachother, I love you with everything in me and it would make me the happiest man on earth if you would be my wife, Tate, will you marry me?"
I look at him with tears welling up, as I immediately jump out of my seat to grab his face.
"Yes Pedri, Yes I'll marry you"
He places the ring on my finger, standing up to lift me in his arms, spinning me around leaving kisses on my lips.
We take our seats again after a while, eating the food and washing it down with the drinks.
After a few hours later we get an Uber back to the hotel so as we can meet up with the others to spill the news.
We find our table with the group sitting there waiting for us.
Pedri pulls out my seat for me, giving a wink as he sits beside me.
"What did everyone get up to today?" Gavi asks the eight of us.
"Well Me, Ansu, Pablo and Ale went into the city and did some shopping, got some pics for the insta you know, and got gifts for people back home" Jude says.
"Gavi and I stayed at the beach for the day, we did surfing, well no I surfed, Gavi attempted, failed, got angry so he took a time out break to cool down, then tried again and got the hang of it, then we just slept for a bit" Isabelle shrugs as Gavi crosses his arms.
"Yeah we can all guess what kind of sleeping you two did" Jude laughs but gets silenced when Isabelle flicks his ear.
"Watch your mouth at the dinner table Judith or soon you'll lose the ability to speak" she tells him off and flicking her hair back.
"Well said girlfriend" I hear Ale say as he high fives her from across the table.
"So Tate what did you and Pedri do today?" Ansu asks.
"I think it's better I show you"
"ANSU BLOCK YOUR EYES AND EARS" Pablo shouts out.
"No dumbass, let her continue" Pedri groans.
I raise my hand to show off the ring to them all.
"Oh my Fucking god, Tate, YOURE ENGAGED" Isabelle screams out giving me the biggest hug I've ever received.
"Pedri- you actually did it" Gavi says getting up to give his best friend a hug.
"I told you I would, You should never doubt me"
For the rest of dinner we all just discuss our visions for the wedding and the guys fight over who the groomsmen should be.
I sit back and take in every moment, feeling happier then ever, knowing everything I've ever wanted in life is all falling into place.
