"where's Abby?" Kenzie asks as we walk in
"where is she?" Brooke asks
"i wonder where Abby is" Paige says
"she ditched us in Jersey maybe she never came home" mom says
"who thinks Miss Abby is going to apologise for the way she acted" Kelly asks
"she never apologises" Paige says
"maybe she's in the ladies room" Melissa says
"pyramid predictions?" i ask Maddie
"um..well me on the bottom..maybe Kenzie Nia and Paige on the bottom aswell..then Brooke in the middle and either you or Chloe on the top" Maddie says
"seems legit..Paige is always on the bottom." i say
"i know..it's not really fair" Maddie says
"when is the pyramid ever fair?" i ask
"never." Maddie says
Abby then walks into the room
"so uh i guess it's welcome back New York City turn out exactly the way i had hoped..Chloe and Camila congratulations you were the winners you both didn't only win for yourselves you won for the Abby Lee Dance Company you won for me and my name and my reputation so that was good" Abby says
"thank you" me and Chloe say
"uh Holly you were quite upset with me um i think you assumed i was upset because Maddie ran off the stage and you were absolutely right and that's why i left." Abby says
"as their coach as their teacher they all deserve a hug" Holly says
"Nia had you she went to you when she forgot her dance" Abby says
"why don't you be the adult and the leader and console them first" mom says
"you yelled at Paige and told her she was stupid and when Maddie does it oh you forgive her and it's okay and it's not her fault" Kelly says
"i think the case and point is we know you don't care.." mom starts
"some kids are just special!" Abby yells
Maddie is special..Maddie is the golden child..and it's obvious..
"enough i didn't call you here to discuss this im talking about this week you are going to Nextstar competition in LA and those little kids in LA are good and you all know that so let's start with the pyramid."
"Paige, the one thing we talked about as soon as we got the props you have to handle that prop you're responsible for that prop you can't let it get away from you as soon as you started that competition the prop went right away from you."
"Nia, when we were rehearsing the number you wore a bikeatard and the entire rehearsal you pulled at that and pulled at that and pulled at that you can't concentrate on what you're doing."
"Brooke, we get to the Joffery everybody else runs in with their pointe shoes on and you're not going to do pointe so they're looking at that like wait a minute her ankles should be strong enough to go on pointe"
"next we have Maddie, should, you be the first on the bottom of the pyramid because you ran off the stage? yes you should you're the responsible one that everybody counts on that's why you're here."
"next i have Mackenzie, Mackenzie you should be proud of yourself that you're this high on the pyramid it's your charisma it's your face that are entertaining the audience"
"next Camila, you won your solo that's good that's what i expect."
"and Chloe, congratulations you're on top of the pyramid you're going to be featured in the group number"

"we have Chloe doing a solo we also have a solo with Camila and a solo with Mackenzie..and i entered a solo for Maddie but i'm not going to have her do it she needs to get her head on straight." Abby says
"and my trio is going to be Chloe, Brooke and Paige and i need you to be on fire onstage..the group number is called I Want It Now can i hear you all say that?"
"I want it now" we all say
"pressure is on when we get to that competition and you get to that autorium you are up here..do you understand? yes." Abby says

we learn the group routine and it's a musical theatre number and i like it!
plus Chloe is doing a good job as the lead
"i gave you a pose here do the pose" Abby says to all of us
"arms Chloe" Abby calls out
"posture when you roll arms are being you!" Abby calls out
we carry on with the routine and i add facials

my solo this week is entitled Are You Satisfied? and it's the song Are You Satisfied by Marina
"it's a strong number you have to match the emotions like Maddie does every week" Abby says
i nod
we go from the top and i do the dance to the best of my ability
"okay..it looks good..you're dismissed" Abby says
"thank you" i say

"girls get on the floor..roll just Nia okay go..turn no turn this way." Abby says
"boom Chloe you're up tall big..this has to be all about you, let's go"
|One Day To Competition|
|Chloe's Solo Rehearsals|
"girls my four judges..." Abby says
i don't like having to judge Chloe on her solo..
i think Chloe did a really good job
i love her solo
we clap
"okay comments." Abby asks
"i thought it was good my correction would be whenever she flexed her foot.." Paige says
"okay i saw that go ahead tell her what she was doing wrong." Abby says
"i thought it was good it's just think you need to make mor eye contact throughout the dance" Nia says
"on every step there should be a moment where you are looking at somebody" Abby says
"i looked at her eyes" Chloe says
"but you can't argue with the people you have to say okay thank you and you need to apply it to yourself.
they wouldn't waste the time to tell you if it wasn't true" Abby says
"it just in between in stuff it's a little like messy" Maddie says
Abby then looks to me
"i think it was good it's just some of your steps aren't sharp when they look like they should be." i say
Abby nods
i don't like judging Chloe..she's my sister and i don't want things to be awkward
|Group Rehearsals|
we go from the top of the routine
and i make sure to add the faces
"you're late Chloe you can't be late" Abby says
"i'm telling you the pressure is on you, you can't mess that whole thing up"
"you're guessing and you need Maddie to tell you what you're doing that's the problem..you need to know the music"
i frown for Chloe
"you okay Chlo?" Gia asks
"my hip hurts" Chloe says
"you can work the turns..what hurts?" Gia asks
Chloe shows where it hurts
"alright sit down for a second" Gia says
i look up to mom and i motion for her to come down
Gia has us do the routine without Chloe
mom then comes in with ice for Chlo
|Competition Day|
we arrive at the competition and i'm pretty nervous because
Miss Abby is having all this pressure on Chloe
and i feel like i'm the rebound incase it all goes up in flames..
we arrive at the dressing room and we set up
"what's first? is the the groups or the trio" Kelly asks
"the trio" mom says
"listen guys you need to get fired up, you need to get out there" Abby says
i stretch and Chloe does my makeup for my solo
"is Maddie doing her solo" i ask Chloe
"i don't know" Chloe whispers
we go to the audience for the trio and i'm really excited to see it
the trio performs
and i think they did a really good job
but Paige missed a kick so i hope she doesn't get yelled at
we go back to the dressing room and i hug the three girls
"Paige you know you forgot a step?" Abby asks
Paige nods
"you did? what happened?" Abby asks
"i don't know" Paige says
"don't laugh about it, it's not funny you can't go out there and not do the choreography you were given." Abby says
Paige isn't Maddie...she's not going to get a hug..favouritism.
"i don't think we're not gonna win because she missed a kick i think we're gonna lose because she wasn't like the ones after us just from what i saw i saw two dances and they were amazing." Kelly says
"you saw a duet? i didn't see what you saw i don't know..well that's it mother knows best" Abby says
we get ready for the solos and i like my costume this week
Camilas solo costume:
we go backstage for Kenzies solo
Kenzie enters for her routine
and she's doing a great job
i am against her this week so i hope i do good
but through her routine she falls..then she runs off stage
"me and Holly were sitting there..she definitely worked it." Paige says
"i fell and i got hurt" Kenzie cries
"hey you looked great! Kenz it's okay" i say
"you okay? where did you hurt?" Paige asks
"it hurt so i got off stage" Kenzie says to Abby when she comes over
"it hurt so you got offstage okay." Abby says
i take Kenzies hand and we go back to the dressing room
and Abby comforts her..
"Maddie come over here and out this costume in please.." Abby says
i mark through my routine
"you go out there and show you don't need to be Maddie to be the best..you're Chloe and Chloes amazing" mom says to Chloe
"and you go out there and be yourself because you are an incredible dancer and you prove that week after week" mom says to me
i nod
we go backstage and they announce Maddies number
"where's Mads?" i ask
"i don't know.." Chloe says
i look around
"i think she's in the audience." Chloe says
"oh gosh." i say
i give Chloe a hug before she enters
she performs her solo and i think
she did an amazing job
i hug Chloe when she exits
"do good, love you" Chloe says
"love you too" i say
"please welcome Camila" the announcer says
i enter the stage and my music starts and i perform my solo
i make sure my emotion is good and my technique is amazing
because i feel like the song gives a message
i finish my solo and i exit the stage
we head back to the dressing room to get ready for the group routine
Abby is not happy with us.
Group Costume: (Maddies)
we head backstage for the group routine
"entry 227 out your hands together for I Want It Now" the announcer says
Chloe starts the group routine off and we all enter
i think we all did a good job and i think Chloe nailed it

"tenth place goes to entry number 163 If The Shoe Fits"
i clap for Kenzie
they announce the next places
"and your top eight and under soloist entry number 174 Are You Satisfied"
i smile and i get up to get my award
for the Chloe's category
she got fifth place
for the trios
they got third place
"nine to eleven small groups top five"
"fifth place, entry number 227 I Want It Now"
i clap and Paige gets our award
we go back to the dressing room and i hug mom
"congratulations Cami" Kelly says
"thank you" i smile
Maddie comes over and hugs me
Abby comes back and yells and...it's a disaster.
