It was another evening of nothing so Hobi decided to go on V-LIVE and he had just about finished eating with ARMY, talking about their upcoming shows and music. There was a knock at the door and Hobi paused, knowing the boys were home so he expected it to be one of them.
He scooted his chair towards the door, the last of his burger in one hand and with his free hand he opened the door. "Noona!" Suddenly the comments were flooded with Grace's name, desperately waiting to see a glimpse of Korea's Noona.
"Oooh, nice burger," Grace said as she closed the door behind her and followed Hobi towards the desk where she sat behind him on the bed.
"I've just washed my hair for the stylists to do whatever they're doing tomorrow," Grace explained and then held up a small bag for Hobi to take. "However, I saw you were live and you promised me you were going to do my hair."
"I did!" Hobi covered his mouth which was now full of food and quickly chewed then swallowed, grabbing the tissue to wipe his hands. "Everyone, welcome to Hobi's hair styling tutorial. We're going to braid Noona's hair with these," he pulled out a clear white butterfly clip. "Go on Noona, talk to ARMY and I'll do this."
Hobi sat on the edge of the bed and Grace leaned back against his legs, adjusting the camera so ARMY could still see them both. She talked general nonsense, about what they had been doing that day and reading comments out for Hobi who was carefully doing a thick French braid.
"My sister showed me some tutorials after I said I wanted to do Grace's hair and she suggested I do this one," Hobi said as he took the hairband from Grace's fingers and tied the hair in place. "Now the important part," he murmured and pulled out a butterfly clip, leaning back to see where he should start placing them.
After a long time, Hobi clapped happily and grabbed hold of the camera to show their fans. "French braid, J-Hope style!"
He took many photos of Grace's hair once the V-Live was done and uploaded them to Twitter and Weverse. One of their stylists saw the photo when they next had their photoshoot and copied Hobi's style, a lot better than he had done but the inspiration came from him. Soon it was copied by other idols once it became a trending style.
