COMMANDO TRAINING CENTER AMBALA
A man is seen to be doing single hand push ups.
"Lt Amardeep Huda yeh apke liye ek post Aya hai" An oderly came into the training room.
Huda gave a stiff nod and jumped up. He took the post and silently muttered a small thank you.
He saw the post and got confused
He opened it and went through the documents.
'Kya mein unn sabse milne ke liye tayyar hoon?' He questions himself.
"Sir cadets aapka intezaar kar rahe hai" another orderly informs him.
"Unn sabse kaho ki mein thodi der mein aunga. Mere aane tak ground ke 10 rounds aur 23 Air squats, 23 jumping lunges aur 23 roll up burpees hone chahiye. And aap unn sab pe nazar rakhiye. Tab tak mein team commander se milke aata hoon." He instructs and leaves.
*In the office*
"Sir I request ki aap mujhe iss mission ke liye na bheje. I am sure ki tau.. I mean Brigadier Sir ne bahut kabil logon ko team mein dala hoga.. toh mere hone na hone se farak nahi padna chahiye" Huda tries to negotiate.
"Lekin aap wahan jaana kyun nahi chahte Lt. Unn logon ko lagega ki ek commando aisi mission se dar gaya. I am sure aap woh nahi chahte" Team commander Burman smirks. Huda then agrees to go as he knows Burman won't help him.
*STF*
Everyone is seen to be eating breakfast in a round table.
"Cold coffee!" Peter exclaimed and everyone smiled at akriti.
Akriti rolled her eyes "Aaj mann kiya banane ka issliye bana diya."
"Aww akku mein jaanta tha tum meri wish what do call it iccha zaroor puri karogi" Peter pinches akriti's cheeks to which she gets angry.
"Meri jooti bhi tumhari baat na mane." She states angrily and swats Peter's hand.
Abhimanyu smiles looking at akriti all worked up for no reason. Infact there is a reason. She doesn't want her bad girl image to be tarnished. That makes abhimanyu's smile more wider
"Aap itna kyun muskura rahe hai" Akriti complains looking at that smile.
"Aree ab sirf appke muskurane par Sarkar tax lagati hai. Humari muskurahat free hai." Abhimanyu teases her to which Akriti naarows her eyes at him.
"Kyun subah subah aap pareshaan kar rahe ho usse bhai. Apka gussa bad mein mujh par nikalegi. Aur uska woh favorite knife bhi toh hai." Rummy sighs dramatically and smirks looking at akriti's glare.
Abhimanyu looks at akriti & raises his eyebrows. Akriti hold her knife near her heart and shakes her head. She always dreads the fact that he will take her favourite knife away from her.
"Aap log bhi officers hai. Knife attack handle karna Ana chahiye" Gunny says it to the rest of the team. They are officers for God's sake. Complaining about a friendly knife attack sounds disgusting to him.
"Officer akriti ko knife chalana hi nahi chahiye " Abhimanyu rebukes him for his remark.
"Aree mein toh bas inhe practice de rahi thi. Agar kisi ne inpe chaaku ke saath attack kiya toh. Inhe handle karna aana chahiye" She suports Capt Randhawa's statement just to save herself. She thanks gunny in her mind.
"Toh ek kaam karte hai, hum aur aap saath mein practice karte." Abhimanyu states looking at Akriti going in her sulking mode.
"Sir jaane dijiye na waise bhi akriti ji chaaku zyaada nahi chalati." Malah comes in her defence. Akriti bobbs her head.
"Ji aap toh rehne dijiye officer mallah. Kal ko yeh actual mein kisi ko jaan se maare na toh bhi aap yehi kahenge" Abhimanyu sarcastically states. It is well known to Capts now that mallah has a crush on Akriti and that he always supports her no matter what.
"Kyunki mallah janta hai ki main bewajah gussa nahi karti." Akriti answers on behalf of mallah knowing well that would earn her a lecture from Abhimanyu.
"Officer Akriti aap" He was cut in between by the security man.
"Excuse me sir aap logon ke liye ek chitti" He gives the envelope to Gunny and leaves
"Thank you" Gunny mutters and opens the envelope.
"Kiski chitti hai? Kya hai?" Abhi asks all curious
"Kholne to dijiye captain" He shakes his head and reads the content inside the envelope. He then informs it to the rest of the team.
"KMA se chitti hai. Brigadier sir ne hum sabko ek mission ke liye bulaya hai." He says looking at the team. He adds further "We have to leave by day after tomorrow."
"But sir Major sharma?" Purvi asks both the captains.
"Hum unhe inform karenge. Woh directly KMA pahunch jayengi" Abhi informs everyone.
"So parso subah sharp 600 hours pe hum sab yahan se niklenge. Koi shak ya sawal!" Gunny sums it up for them and asks them if they have any doubt.
"No Sir" Everyone says togather.
"Very good. Now break is over so back to work." Abhimanyu orders them and all of them rushes to their work.
*Darjeeling*
"Haan toh aise naina ne apun ko goli mara" Alekh complains to Rajveer. All the four were busy entertaining their sir.
"Ae alekh isme meri galti nahi hai ki tune sector 101 ke badle sector 100 mein aa raha tha." Naina defends herself amused that alekh blames her when it was all his fault.
"Tujhe ek putle aur ek jeeta jagta insaan mein farak nahi pata" Alekh glares at her pretending to be offended.
Naina was about to retort when Ali stops both of them "Bas.. chup kariye aap dono"
"Haan na Ali. kahan hum sir ko dekh ke khush ho rahe thhe aur kahan hum logon ka network inn do pagalon ke beech phas gaya." Pooja states her difficulty
"Ae tera matlab kya hai agar apun ne tum logon ko bataya nahi hota toh tum humse milne nahi aati. Bhool mat tune hum logon ko bina bataye kalti mari thi. Ek piddi sa letter chodke. " Alekh asks her as she did not even call them once after she left KMA for the unknown reason.
"Nahi. Mera toh connection KMA aur KMA ke logon se cut ho gaya hai" Pooja teases all of them
"Oh really pooja phir tumhe ali ke saath bhi doori rakhni hogi. Apna aur ali ka connection bhi cut karo" Naina glares at her best friend for the statement.
The banter between his 4 cadets minus the two cadets who were yetto arrive,made Rajveer nostalgic. It took him back to their Accademy days. Suddenly Alekh felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He excused himself to answer the call. It was from his superior. He returned after ending the call with a serious and worried face. Even Ali and Pooja were alerted about the news by their respective seniors, they even informed Naina too.
Rajveer looked at Alekh to which he averted his gaze. Till then the doorbell rang. He wanted to avoid the question. He was worried about the future instances. Worried about the wellfare of Rajveer. All this would just reopen the wound. He opened the door to finds a postman. He came in with two letters and handed one of them to Naina. The moment Naina opened and read it, she was perplexed. She dreaded going to that place, especially after knowing Rajveer is alive.
Rajveer looked at the silent exchange between Naina and Alekh whereas Pooja and Ali had an inkling but were uncertain.
"Kya ho raha hai yahan?" He asked in general. It was clear to him that all of them were hiding something. Even before Alekh could reply, someone from the background speaks up
"It is about our posting to KMA for a mission sir" The stranger then faces Rajveer and adds "Lt Yaduvansh Sahani reporting sir"
He was misty-eyed. Rajveer smiled and got up to hug him. However the previous information still bothered him.
"Isme problem kya hai? Tum sabko ek mission mila hai na? Saath mein kaam kar rahe ho. Inn sab mein mujhe koi problem batane ka kasht karega" Rajveer sarcastically says this and sits back.
"Sir problem yeh hai ki humare siway aur koi nahi jaanta ki aap zinda hai. Brigadier sir bhi nahi. Kahi esa na ho ki humare pahunchte hi aap pe ye ilzaam lage ki aap bhagne wale thhe jeep leke" Ali informs Rajveer about the stress everyone was having.
"Haan sir. Agar aisa hua toh hum sab aapko vapis uss daur se goozarta hua nahi dekh sakte" Yudi remembers that difficult time and holds Rajveer's hands tightly.
"Aree tum log itni si baat pe darne lage. Come on now. Everything is fine and i doubt ki BC ko yeh sab yaad bhi rahega ya nahi. He would most probably bhi happy" Rajveer tries to comfort everyone but somewhere he is also unsure on BC reaction.
"Abhimanyu sir ko batade? Shayad woh BC se baat kare?" Naina suggests everyone
"Uss jabrile ko? jiski wajah se ye saari phasad hui hai? Tera dimag ka connection toh sahi hai na Naina " pooja rebukes her.
"Pooja inn sabme chauhan sahab ki koi galti nahi hai. Unhone ek officer ka farz nibhaya. Aur uss farz ko nibhate samay ye nahi dekhte ki samne wala dost hai ya pariwar" Rajveer calmly explains Pooja.
"Naina ne baat sahi kahi. Abhimanyu sir se baat karni chahiye" Alekh takes out his phone and dials Abhimanyu number. Everyone tells him to keep on speaker
"Jai hind sir" Alekh greets him as soon as the call is picked.
"Jai hind Alekh. Aapne itne dinon baad call kiya. Sab thik hai?" Abhimanyu directly asks.
"Yes sir i mean noo sir" Yudi says
"Lt Sahani? Kon kon hai wahan?" He asked as he heard yudi speaking
"Sab sir." Ali responds to his question.
"Okay toh boliye aap sabne hume achanak se kaise yaad kiya?" He asks eager to know the reason.
"Capt chauhan aap yeh..." They heard a female voice complaining to Abhimanyu, which goes silent immediately. They assume that abhi has actioned her to be quiet.
"Chauhan sahab!" Abhimanyu was sure it was Rajveer's voice but how is he...
"Raj? Kya ho raha hai wahan?" He asks but he recieves no answer "koi kuch bolega ab?"
Naian decides to speak up and tell him everything
"Ab jabki KMA ke aur se ek mission aya hai toh hum yeh soch rahe hai ki hume BC ko batna hai ya nahi" Yudi completes the problem.
"Raj aap" he sighs loudly " aap ajaiye. Hum bhi KMA aa rahe hai mission ke liye. Dekhte hai BC ka reaction kya hota hai. Par haan jo bhi ho sab apna sayyam rakhenge. Thik hai?" Abhimanyu saya and further adds "Jaldi milte hai Raj"
"Capt chaliye der ho rahi hai" Gunny's voice can be heard through the phone.
"Jii aa rahe hai capt. Do minute dijiye" Abhi then concludes "Hum parso KMA ke liye rawana honge. Aap log jitni jaldi ho sake jaiye aur BC ko boliye. Yaad rakhe ki phone pe mat batao kyunki...." Raj cuts him in the middle
"Kyunki jitna time BC ko milta hai utna khatarnaak unka dimag chalta hai" He completes the statement with a smile.
"Exactly" Abhimanyu smiles and remembers this quote that naveen used to frequently say. He then decides to end the call "Ab hum chalte hai isse pehle koi aur hume bulane aye. Jai hind"
"Jai hind sir/ Jai hind Abhi" Everyone says and cutts the call.
They then plan on how to go and book tickets.
