My daughter leaves and joins the group of village ladies in town that are competing to be my first husband's new wife. My daughter comes back shortly afterwards and tells us my first husband called off the competition. He invited all of the ladies to a sandy arena in a secret desert place. I refused to accompany her to such a dangerous event. Her father goes and when he returns, he returns alone. "What happened to our daughter?" I ask.

"Your first husband's daughter fought the ladies. The battles were uneven and unfair but... His daughter killed our daughter. Once our daughter got a scratch on her skin, his daughter's eyes turned red. It's like she smelled something that told her kill our daughter. I buried her battered body. This is all your fault because you didn't want to come support her. I'm sure they would've taken it easy on her if you showed up."  He says. I wipe the water dripping from eyes off of my face and take a deep breath. My face turns warm. A good loving mother always knows... She always knows the danger facing her baby. I knew it. I knew something like this would happen.

"Really? Whatever. You have always believed in what you wanted to. It's pointless for me to try and change your mind." I say.

"If you think that I will let you get away with your lack of standing up for our family to your first husband, you have another thing coming. I will go to the reptilianoid high council and you will not be able to be part of the reptilianoid society anymore."

I shrug and open my wardrobe door and shut it quickly behind me.

Another Incident

Somewhere on a desert planet. I decide to drown my sister-wife woes in glasses of liquor. By this point in my story my husband has destroyed two of my lovers and three of my husbands from different lifetimes. The amount of half siblings my older children have destroyed are too many to count, at this point. Of course, I choose to party at a desolate unpopular bar in the middle of nowhere on who knows what this planet is called. I have been choosing doors at random to portal through in the wardrobe.

A woman with dark blonde wavy hair pulled into a messy bun, enters the bar. I sway and dance on the empty dance floor with a few biker dudes sitting near the walls. They chuckle at my drunk dance moves. The lady walks up to me with an open bottle of beer in her hand. I shake my head and she lightly grabs my wrist. She sits me at a empty group table.

"What's going on? Why are you doing this to yourself?" She asks. I shrug. I do not owe strangers an explanation on my existence. She puts her beer on the table. Then she grabs my arm and yanks me up. She leads me to the restroom and splashes cold water on my face. "Look, I planned on coming into this bar and drowning my sorrows with a few bottles of beer. I feel bad for you because I feel bad for me. I married an abusive guy that keeps me on a short leash." She says. She flicks the tears away from her eyes with one hand and collects napkins with the other. She splits the amount in half and gives me half of the napkins. By this time, I have already wiped my face dry with the top of my dress.

"How does your husband abuse you?" I ask. "He tells me what to wear everyday. My schedule is always planned out for me everyday and if I don't do it right..." She looks up and rolls her eyes. Then she shrugs.

"Wow! I'm not going to assume the worst case scenario and this is really not any of my business. You can party with me to get over it." I shrug and stumble to the bathroom door. I go back to the dance floor and a group of men with slit irises enter the bar. Two of the men are very buff with dragon tattoos all over their arms. They go to the table with the lady that was bothering me earlier.

She scurries to me on the dance floor. She grabs my arm. "Darling! I want to introduce you to my friend. We just met and we've been close ever since then." She yells. I roll my eyes. We sit at the table. The lean tan man sitting at the center of the booth takes his sunglasses off. He looks down at us with hazel eyes and slit pupils. He rests his arm on the table. The fingers of his hands interlock with each other and he places his head on them. "Darling, did I tell you that you can make friends with random strangers? Why is she at our table? Why aren't we at home right now? That's what I put in our schedules but we aren't following the schedule, are we?" He asks.

I roll my eyes. "If she doesn't want to go home right now she doesn't have to she's an adult, you don't own her." I say.

"Actually, I do own her and the guards around me. My family is one of the families that owns this planet. You are an extraterrestrial that has trespassed on my turf. You need to really be careful how you talk to me. Her parents sold her to my family when they couldn't pay extra fees for renting the farm land we stole from them. Is it really stealing if they don't read the fine print?" He asks and chuckles.

I jump up and stumble back to the dance floor. I do not have time for their drama. I have enough personal drama to fill infinities. "How dare you walk away from me and not apologize for your rude comment? If you don't know how to bow down to me, you can get out of this bar! Guard kick her out!" He yells.

A pair of muscular arms with dragon ink all over them, wraps themselves around my waist and lifts me in the air. He walks me outside and slams me onto sandy gravel outside the bar. I stumble to my feet and barely stand up right. "I'll get all of you back. This isn't over! Once I'm not drunk anymore you all will rue the day you treated me like this." I say and fall back to the ground. I call my wardrobe, crawl inside of it, and slam the door behind me.

I have one of my phantoms stalk their group. Especially the guard that threw me on to the gravel. I sit on my throne and smile as one of my phantoms tells me where the guard is now. "So, he's going to the mating arena. I guess I have to visit that place again for some fun." I say and walk through a brown portal door that leads to that arena.

I enter the mating games but I am not looking for a mate this time. I change my clothes into a silvery white cloak with a short dark romper underneath. I keep my hood on and watch him enter the ring. I bang the bars surrounding the ring. "Oh, Ash sees someone she likes? She wants to wrestle him? If he loses he's not a love interest and if he wins mating is possible. Typically Ash goes for stronger suitors, maybe it's something she likes about this buff reptilianoid guy." The announcer says. I smile and whip my hood off as soon as I get in the ring.

The bell rings and I let him run at me. At the last minute, I dodge his tackle and jump on his back. I pull a whip out of my artillery belt and wrap it around his neck. He falls backward and I jump off of him before he lands. I jump in the air above the ring and I whip the whip around twice. An  electric field surrounds us now. I pull out a dagger and drag it down his back. He howls. I stretch out my phantom arms and turn them into spiked plant vines that hold his limbs to the ring floor. I pull my dagger out once more and use the thick handle bottom to beat him in the head until he goes unconscious.

The bell rings and my first husband floats down to the ring. "Ash, we need to talk... Whoever is coordinating these games know that if you let my wife participate in mating games again, I will destroy this dome and this whole dimension. She is married! She doesn't need to participate in mating games!" My husband yells.

A tiger shift-er that I was romantically involved with a long time ago in another lifetime came up to us on the ring. "Ishi- I mean Ash. Why are you and your husband making a ruckus in my ring?" He asks me. I look at the floor and my husband digs his hand into the tiger shift-er's chest and pulls the dagger off of my hip and slits his throat. "Ash and her husband are now forever banned from the mating ring games." The announcer says. I roll my eyes and call my wardrobe.

My husband slams the door shut behind us. "The reptilianoids want you off the battlefield. You can't go to their turf." He says while following closely behind me. "I'm standing up for myself they threatened and attacked me first. I was partying at a bar and this reptilianoid couple pulls me into their relationship drama. Then they had the audacity to kick me out of the bar. The lady's husband had that brawny guard throw me onto gravel. It scratched my knees and elbows! What about me and my pain? I deserve to get them back." I say.

"I'm getting too many complaints about it from them. I will handle them. Me and my team are fighting against them right now. If you have any unresolved issues with them, you tell me. I'm your husband. It's my job to protect you and our family. When others see you they see an extension of me and vice versa. If we were fighting enemies anywhere and nowhere was off-limits, what precedent would that set? I want my future daughters to not be warriors used to battle but be happy wives that don't have to worry about that. After Cynthia has passed on... I realized the only way to have more docile daughters is to make an environment for their mother to be docile in. Children follow examples not words. I want to do it right this time."
I roll my eyes and sigh.

"I will try to be more docile after I get this couple back."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"I'm going with you."

"I don't have their exact location right now."

I smile up at him. He lifts me into his arms and sits us in one of the thrones. He kisses my forehead. Then he rubs my back.

After one of my phantoms find the  couple of interest. I lace my cursed blade dagger with my blood. I make copies of the cursed blade and give it to all of my green phantoms. If I can't be on the battlefield directly, I will do it indirectly.

I give them the order to stab every greedy reptilanoid and their zombie drones, that are no longer human, they encounter. I make a new phantom and tie his being off separately from my green goo that he has been formed from. I attach a void soul to the body and collect many rogue voids wandering out in many galaxies through portals. I collect them in the phantom I created to harness their power. The phantom creates a realm in his belly surrounded by the voids we collect. Every reptilianoid that is stabbed and all of their zombie followers accompany them in that dimension.

If they succeed with getting out of the dimension the voids will rip them apart and spit them in  different parts of their energy into the other galaxies the voids come from. I equip the original dagger and go to the motel the annoying couple are staying in. I give the worker at the counter many gold coins to let me "clean" their motel room in my fake maid clothes. The worker gives me a copy of the room's key. I leave the cart outside near the next room. I enter the room. I close the door behind me. Then I hide under the master bed. They come back inside with their pool garb on. Once they relax on the master bed, I pull myself from underneath the bed and point the blade at them. I tell one of my phantoms to bring my husband to the motel. I release my thorny vines and it ties them to the bed.

"You two thought I wouldn't come back? You told my husband that I'm the problem when you two tried to bully me? Wow!" I say and laugh.
"You're unhinged! When we get free, I will tell your husband. He needs to keep you away from everyone." He yells.

I laugh and when my husband portals in. I jump on the rude man and place the cursed dagger to his throat. "I deserve an apology, don't you think?" I ask. He chuckles. My husband pulls me off of him. "Ash stop. Everyone antagonizing my wife needs to stop too or I will have to take further action." My husband says.

"Your wife wants my husband to say sorry for nothing. He didn't do anything that requires him to apologize." The ditzy lady says. I narrow my eyes at her and tighten the thorn vines around their wrists and and ankles. "You and your wife are pathetic. We will defeat all of you. Do you know who my family is?" He asks.

I put the cursed dagger behind my back and created another thorny vine with my phantom arm. It grabs the handle of the dagger and slithers along the floor until it reaches the bed. It slides the dagger deeply and swiftly across their throats. The red blood sprays our faces. "Ash... You truly are my wife. I see what I have made you become and I will protect you better so that you will not think you must take these matters in your hands anymore. I don't want our future daughters to become like this. Ash, we have to improve and be better individuals for our children." My husband says and water wells up on his lower lids. His glum look saddens me. My husband is right we need to be better individuals for our children.
