hyemin also decided to join the three girls leaving their dorm to go out to buy the cake. when they reached the lobby, they realised that jaemin and renjun had also joined jeno and jisung, and since they were going the accompany the rest of their friends who were practicing, they'd have a small reunion.
"hey guys," hyemin waved with a smile as they approached their friends waiting for them, everyone greeting back with the same energy
"jeno hyung says there's a really good bakery a few blocks from the university. we could go there if you want? or do you have somewhere else in mind?" jisung went to seorin and held her hand
"yeah, don't ask the rest of your friends here," yasuko shook her head
"anywhere is fine. i just want cake." seorin replied and the friends started their walk outside the uni
"dude, did you finish that assignment mrs.oh gave us last week? i think its due tomorrow," asked the japanese girl as she walked next to renjun

as the two performance arts majors went back and forth, with meihui increasing her volume and jisung trying to keep up, jeno, jaemin, hyemin and seorin all walked behind the two arguing pairs
"sometimes, being friends with these people embarrasses me," hyemin said

"has jisung told you what he's gonna be doing for his performance yet?" seorin asked jaemin and he wiggled his eyebrows

and so began their chase, with seorin running away from jaemin and his creepy facial expressions and the boy just following around her to scare her even more
"they're so humiliating," jeno said, covering his face with his hands, noticing all the stares their friend group was getting from everyone around them
much to jeno's and hyemin's delight, by the time they had reached the bakery, the three arguing pairs had calmed down and somehow all of them were engaged in a new conversation about pollution.
"-no, I'm just saying I'd rather carry around a metal straw with me everywhere and wash it regularly after every use." jaemin said
"okay but everywhere? imagine you just had soda and now you're drinking tea. imagine the mix of flavors. you can't just wash the straw on the go everywhere." argued yasuko and meihui nodded in agreement
"i say, just don't use a straw at all. what's so hard about taking off a lid and drinking straight from the glass?" seorin asked and renjun gasped
"but that would make you look so weird though"

"can we also get cookies?" jisung asked, eyeing the nutelle chocolate chip ones on display
"lets get some diabetes too while we're at it," yasuko commented sarcastically
"yasuko, don't be mean, he'll cry. also, yes jisung, get as many as you want," said the tired Samoyed as he turned to look ar jaemin who was looking at the different breads

"we're doing what a time by julia michaels and niall horan. since heejin is the only girl in our group, we wanted her to stand out even more so we chose something that has more lines for the girl rather than the boy," mark explained, "chenle said he wanted to try focusing on harmonizing more this time so it's basically a duet with haechan and heejin"
