Dear Mattheo, babe, my love,
I told you so long ago, that I normally only write letters to people when they've hurt me or when I'm not feeling great. Next to that I never let the person the letter is to, read them. However, this letter is an exception to that. This letter is to tell you how happy you make me feel.
I know we have had our ups and downs in the past and we have both done stuff wrong, but in the end we always knew how to find our way back to eachother. We've been through a lot together, but if I had to, I would go through it all again just for it to end in a forever with you. You are the one person who will always know what I'm thinking and when I feel insecure. You are the one person who can make all those insecurities and thoughts leave me for a second and to make me enjoy the moment no matter what is going to happen in the future. I wouldn't wish for that person to be anyone else. You are my better half and my forever.
You make me the happiest girl alive and I can't wait to stay that way all the way through the rest of our lives.

'Now, Ms Y/N Granger, do you take Mr. Mattheo Thomas Riddle to be your lawfully wedded husband?' 'I do.' 'And Mr. Mattheo Thomas Riddle, do you take Ms Y/N Granger to be your lawfully wedded wife?' 'I most certainly do.' 'Then I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.' And before the minister even finished his sentence Mattheo lips were already on mine. He kissed me passionately, while fireworks went of in the background. We had to go through a long and difficult journey to get here, but it was all worth it, just to have this moment. Mattheo brushed his lips over mine with his eyes still closed. 'I love you so much Mrs Riddle.' I gave a small chuckle at my new name. I never thought I would be named Riddle and I never thought I would love it as much as I did. 'I love you so much too Mr Riddle.'
Everyone was applauding us, when we walked down the aisle towards the room where we were holding the celebration of our wedding. Everyone we wanted was there. Ofcourse our best friends; Pansy, Theo, Draco and Blaise, were there, but so was Mrs. Ella and my family, including Hermione. I didn't talk much to her at Hogwarts after everything that happened, but the moment we had both graduated and started our own lives, we started growing back to eachother. We had a couple of long and hard talks, but we made up and were now back to being sisters who embrace their differences, instead of judging eachother for it.
I was going around the party, saying thanks to everybody for coming, when I reached Hermione. 'Congratulations, sis. You look gorgeous in your dress.' 'Thank you, so much, Hermione. I'm happy to have you here.' 'I wouldn't wish it any different.' Hermione said before pulling me into a hug. This was everything I wanted. My sister being there for me, when I wanted her to be there. And I got that. I couldn't be happier. 'How is it going with the family?' I asked Hermione. A couple years after graduation, she settled down with none other than Ron Weasley. And they had their first kid, my sweet niece Rose a little over a year ago. 'They're good. Rose is a bit under the weather, that's why Ron's not here, but she'll be as good as new and ready to be babysat by her favourite aunt, before you know it. And, soon she won't be the only one who will need to be babysat anymore.' The last sentence was whispered. 'What are you talking about?' I looked at Hermione with a confused look. She pointed at her belly and I knew exactly what she meant. 'YOU'RE PREGNANT?!' I whisperyelled. 'Yes.' Hermione said with a big smile on her face. I gave her a big hug. 'Oh my god, congratulations, 'Mione. I can't wait to meet her... or him...' 'We don't know what the baby is going to be, but I feel like it's going to be a boy.' 'A boy... We're going to have a little baby boy in the family, I can't wait.' Right after I said that, I felt a warm arm snake around my waist. Next a soft kiss was placed on my temple and I never even had to guess who it could be. It was my gorgeous husband. 'Congratulations to you too, Mattheo. Now, I'm going to leave you guys to it. Enjoy your evening, sis.' 'Thank you, Hermione.' Mattheo and I said at the same time.
I turned around in Mattheo's arms and interlocked my arms behind his head. 'Hello, mrs Riddle.' Mattheo whispered to me. 'Well, hello mr Riddle.' 'You have been talking to everyone, can we take a minute and dance for a second?' Mattheo was right. I had been talking to everyone and completely forgot to also enjoy the night by dancing and spending time with him. 'Yes, sorry, babe. Ofcourse we can.' 'Don't you dare apologise for having fun without me. Now, come here.' Mattheo pulled me into a kiss before walking us towards the dancefloor. I layed my head on his chest, while swaying to the music that was playing. It was a perfect moment that I wanted to last for forever. Only it got interupted by someone talking through a microphone.
'Hello, everyone. Can you guys all hear me?' I pulled my head off of Mattheo's chest and looked at where the talking came from. On top of one of the chairs speaking through a microphone, was no other than Theo. 'What's happening?' I asked Mattheo. 'I have no idea, but I'm scared.' He responded with a nervous smile. 'As you all probably know, my name is Theo. I'm Y/N's absolute best friend.' Theo started. 'That's not true!' Pansy yelled from the other side of the room. 'It is, so stay quiet Pansy.' A speech by Theo would never be able to just be a cute, congratulations, can it? 'I have known Y/N for about 14 years now.' Theo resumed. 'And Mattheo for even longer. They are the best friends anyone could ever wish for. They've always been there for me and I know they always will be. Well, maybe not after I've finished my speech, but we'll see that when I'm done.' Oh my god, what is he going to say? 'Some of you may have heard the story of what happened years ago at a party. Y/N had been quite mad at Mattheo and me for lying to her, but she just told us she wasn't going to be mad anymore. She was tired of having a dark cloud hang above our friendship and her relationship with Mattheo, so we all made up with eachother. And she especially made up with Mattheo as well. I knew what was going to happen, the moment they left for Mattheo's dorm that day.' Is Theo seriously telling this story at my wedding? 'I had waited quite a while after they had gone to the room, before I made Draco walk in on Y/N and Mattheo to "get them for dinner" and Blaise and I laughed our asses off seeing how embarressed Draco was and knowing how mad Mattheo and Y/N would be. However, what I didn't plan was, that a couple weeks later, Y/N made Blaise do the same thing to me. This time I was the one embarrassed. She thought we were even, but I was not done yet. I have been waiting years for this moment, but here it finally is.' 'Mattheo?! What is happening?!' I didn't know what Theo had up his sleeve, but it couldn't be anything good if it's to get back at me after all these years. 'I don't know, love.' Mattheo said, also being nervous for what was about to happen. 'It took me quite some time to get it together, but with some help from Pansy and Hermione,' Theo resumed, 'here are some gorgeous pictures of Y/N sleeping in the weirdest positions. For example this is one where she fell asleep standing against her broom and this is one where she fell asleep on the couch together with Mattheo and there was a little drool on her bottom lip. I love you so much Y/N and Mattheo, so here's to you. Now, for everyone else, I'm going to run, because the bride is going to murder me in a few seconds. Love you and good night.' I was indeed going to murder him, so the moment Theo ran away I ran after him. 'THEO!' I yelled.
It took me only a minute of running, before I had caught up with him. But, before I could hit him or do anything I was held back by Mattheo. 'Easy there, love.' 'Are you really on his side, Mattheo?' I said angrily. 'No, but I don't want you to get any blood on your beautiful dress.' 'Yes, Y/N listen to your husband. You wouldn't want to ruin your dress.' Theo joined in from behind Mattheo. Right in that moment, I didn't really care about my dress and Mattheo could see that. 'And I already know how were going to get him back.' Mattheo added. I relaxed and gave a knowing smile at Mattheo. 'Yes... Wait! What?!' Theo responded. 'So, we have to keep him alive until we can execute our revenge, love.' 'Okay.' I said with an even bigger smile. I didn't know what Mattheo had on his mind, but I knew it would be good.
And I was right. About a year later, Theo had settled down as well and was engaged to a gorgeous woman named Sarah. Sarah was not only gorgeous, she was also the sweetest and funniest girl I had ever met. So, when we told her our plan, she was the first one to make the arrangements that needed to be made. One night while Theo was sleeping, we completely rearranged his house, had put another girl's pictures allover the house and made that same girl wake him up. Sarah had hung up camera's throughout the house, so she, Mattheo and I could watch Theo freak out about his new life that he couldn't remember. At first, Theo was confused and convinced this wasn't his house and the girl had confused him with someone else. But, the more details the girl had told Theo, the more confused he got. He had walked down the stairs and saw all the furniture changed and the pictures were no longer of him and Sarah, but of him and the strange girl. Mattheo, Sarah and I were laughing our asses off on the poarch waiting for Theo to walk out of the house in confusement. And it only took a couple minutes, but there he was. 'How?! What?! What the fuck did you guys do?!' Theo yelled at us. 'Did you change my whole house and girl while I was sleeping?! And you were in on it, Sarah?!' Theo added. 'We sure did. Now you know, not to mess with me Theo.' I said still while laughing. 'Well, just know I'll get you back for this.' Theo said angrily, before showing his smile again. 'It was a good prank though. How did you guys do all this? And who's the girl?' Theo was now laughing as well and sat down in one of the chairs next to us, while we told him all about how we set up the prank.
Apparently he took notes, because his next prank on Mattheo and me was almost as big as ours, which gave us reason to get him back after that one as well. We kept our little prankwar going on for years, until it was taken over by our kids and we just had to sit back and watch our kids grow up together and pranking eachother just like we did all those years.
