Gon's POV~
Y/n and me were so pissed, why would this Illumi guy manipulate Killua?! I just don't understand.
We walked up to him, he was as pale as killua exept with big black eyes and really long black hair.
Everyone was looking at us but I didn't care, I just wanted to know what was going on that dumb guy's head.
"Apologize to Killua!" I demanded
He looked at me with an expressionless face
"For what?"
"What do you mean for what are you that dumb?! I thought assassins were supposed to be hella smart!!" Y/n spat
"You're not qualified to be his big brother."
"I didn't know I had to qualify..."
'Ugh he is making me so angry!'
I snatched his wrist making his stand up
"Friends don't have to either, he gets to choose!" I tightened my grip so much that I broke his wrist
"Don't even bother apologizing Illumi just take us to see Killua." Y/n said putting a hand on my shoulder
"And what would you do if I did?"
"We'll bring him back!" We declared simultaneously both giving him a 'I'm not kidding' look
"From the sound of it you must think I kidnapped my little brother," He glanced to Y/n "But he walked out of here all on his own."
"He left sure but not on his free will," I started
"I saw what you were doing Illumi... YOU WERE MANIPULATING HIM!" Y/n pointed at his face, growling
We heard footsteps echo from the entrance
"We were just discussing that very subject Gon and Y/n!" Neturo tells us "In fact Kurapika and Leorio had already filed complaints. We went back to review the fairness of that situation.."
"And?!" Y/n shouts, waiting for him to continue
"Killua will remain disqualified."
We both had a shocked but upset look on our faces
"You saw it it yourself with the match of the man named Gittaraku and Killua, he started behaving strangely and I believe there is only one reason Killua commuted a murder... he was hypnotized!" Kurapika concludes, standing up as if we were in court and he was Killua's lawyer
"it's generally impossible to use hypnosis to make someone do such a thing however Assassins raised Killua and murder is common for him, so it's natural he would lack the ethical restraint of most!"
'Good going Kurapika!'
"It's also worth noting that the attack happened during my match, so it's possible that Killua intended to aid my cause." Leorio stands "Which means if your going to disqualify anyone.... It should be me!"
"In any case this just proves Killua wasn't in control of his actions during the time so you shouldn't disqualify him!" Y/n closes our argument
"Hmm I see but that is only speculation, there is no concrete proof!" Neturo rejects walking back to the desk. "There were no clear indications he was ordered to commit murder"
Neturo just continued telling us how we were wrong and it was so frustrating.
I heard a "tch" escape y/n's mouth
Pokle then opened his big mouth and switched the subject on Kurapika's fight with Hisoka
Y/n's POV~
"You might find my victory suspect but I would say the same of victory by default." Kurapika countered
'Ooh burn!' I giggled in my head
Kurapika and pokle have been at each other's throats for 3 minutes now and it was so boring to watch. I just wanted to see Killua right now!
"This is so pointless." Gon whispered
"Look I don't care if you guys have beef but can we just get this lecture over with so we can all go home!" Hanzo complained
"Listen here pal!-"
"UGH THIS IS COMPLETELY POINTLESS!!" Gon's voice echoed one again
They all stopped talking and payed attention for what he had to say
"Why argue on why someone should've passed If your not satisfiedyou made it you keep working until you are. If killua wanted to retake the hunters exam then I know he will pass! He didn't this time and it is what it is but..."Gon paused once again tightening his grip even further on Illumi's wrist
I got tired of this so I just grabbed Illumi's collar and brought him close
"But if you've been forcing Killua's to murder people against his own will this whole time I'll never forgive you!" I threatened
"And what will you do?"
"Nothing to you but once we go rescue him I'll never let you see Killua again!" I let him go
"Hmm" he stuck his hand out to my four head like he did with Killua
Gon and I jumped back out of reflex, there was a few moments of passing dirty looks and silence
"Ehem is everyone finished?" Neturo complains
TIMESKIP~
Y/n's POV:
The "presentation" or whatever you call it was finally over and we were all announced as hunters. Everyone started leaving to go fulfill their journeys
"Hey Illumi!" I called as he turned around
Gon,Illumi and I were standing in a empty hall and you could hear our footsteps echo.
"We want you to tell us where Killua is." I growled
"You're really going after him? I think that's a bad idea."
"Who cares what you think! Killua is our friend,I'll get him back I swear." Gon promised
"And do they feel the same way?" Illumi looked behind us
We turned
"Leorio? Kurapika?" I questioned out loud
"You bet we do." Leorio assured
"Fine. I don't you'll be able to get there anyway, we live at the top of Kukkuro mountain in Padokea I'm sure that's were Kil is."
"Kay thanks!" I thanked as The gang and I skipped off
"Hmm you guys know where that is?" Leorio aksed
Gon and I shook our heads no 👎
"Do you know kurapika" he asked But kurapika seemed spaced out
"You feelin' ok Kurapika?" I probed
"Huh? Oh what was that?" He shook his head standing
"Never mind. Let's go to the public library and order some tickets to padokea." I suggest shaking off his behavior
"Alright!"
We had been out all day long trying to find out where Killua lives and buying tickets with our new hunters licenses. We have also been on this blimp for about 2-3 hours and we still had quite some time to get to the republic of Padokea
'I feel so guilty, he was right infront of me and I didn't stop him from leaving. It's all my fault,I cant wait to get Killua back.'
I turned to Gon to seem to be lost in thought
"Killua..." he mumbled
"Gon," I grabbed his hand as he turned to me "we are gonna get Killua back I swear it." I gave him a determined look
He smiled back at me "yeah! Thanks y/n."
'Truth is Im terrified, what if we don't get to see killua again? No DONT think like that... but would he even want to see me? Well it doesn't matter cause I wanna see him! I just hope getting in will be easy...'
"Cheer up guys you look so gloomy,Here have some food!" Leorio offered as we accepted. He and Kurapika took seats next to us and brightened the mood with random yet funny conversation
We made it to Padokea the next day and this lady told us to buy the tickets to kukkuro mountain quick because it only runs once a day
"So that's the assassins base huh?" Leorio comments as we all get a glimpse of the huge mountain ahead of us. "it looks so creepy!"
"Yeah which is why when we get up there we need to gather as much information as possible." Kurapika tells us
We got on the tour bus to Kukkuro mountain and sat there in comfortable silence for pretty much the whole ride cause the tourist lady was educating everyone about the mountain and the Zoldyck family who lives on it.
'Jeeze this lady talks so loud, how is she so awake? It's like 6 am' I yawn
"Hey check it out at the back of the bus." Leorio whispers to us
"Hmm?"
"Those guys don't look like tourist." He finishes
"True." We agree
"Ok everyone now if you'll look to you right there's ...blah blah blah it's blah meters high and the Zoldyck estatesis said to be somewhere at the top! It's surrounded by blah blah!" I tried to block out some of the noise coming out of her mouth by covering my ears but she was just to loud!
"The Zoldyck family consists of 10 members all of whom are assassins!"
"Jeeeze I can't even handle one brother I don't know how Killua handles so many other kids in the house." I mumbled to myself
"Alright you guys now hold on while we get a little closer to the mountain!" She said before I finally fell asleep leaning on Kurapika. I'm pretty sure he didn't mind cause he fell asleep not long after me, placing his head on top of mine.
