The Unkown

My mother doesn't know what happened with him
I told her about his attempted suicide and that was it
She thinks I'm still her innocent child
But he stole that from me
He stole my happiness
He stole my trust
He stole me love
HE stole everything that makes me
Me
And I didn't trust anyone after that
I began cutting some more
And told no one
Not my mother, not my grandmother, and not my friend
And even though they had known previously
They didn't know this time
And they never would know
Because I couldn't stand to see the looks on their faces
Knowing that I wasn't getting better
And the dissappointment across each one
So I had to keep it a secret
And so I did
