Adam's: POV
October 10th 2023: Maine
I pulled up in front of our new house. I smiled softly looking at the beautiful mansion. I knew I had chosen the perfect home for us.

"The house is so beautiful dad." said Esme. "I can't believe we'll live here, Felix is going to be so jealous." replied Elio. "It's a little scary." said Oliver. "Don't upset the ghosts Oli." replied Jack. "Very funny papa." he said. I chuckled softly. I got out of the car and took a moving box. Esme gently lifted a sleeping Lily in her arms.
I unlocked the door and walked in. I dropped the bags on the floor and sighed tired. This week has been a hell. I feel completely exhausted. I didn't think it would be so difficult to move. Esme came in after a few minutes. Lily was sleeping peacefully in her arms. She looked around in the house.
"She look just like her." said Esme. "Lily would have loved her." I replied sadly. "She'd teach her everything about music and fashion." said Esme. "Do you think she can see us?" I asked. "She's probably sitting on a cloud and looking down at us." she said. "I think so too." I replied and smiled.

I went out to the car to pick up the last moving boxes. A woman passed me with her dog. She had a concerned look on her face. Her dog barked happily at me.
"Is everything alright?" I asked worried. "Yes." she said. "You seem to be concerned about something." I replied. "Oh, it's just the house." said Marie. I just nodded my head. "How many children do you have?" she asked. "I've three kids." I said. "A horrible event took place in that house many years ago." replied Marie.
"We've just moved here." I said. The woman looked sadly at me. "I hope you change your mind." she replied and walked away. I took the boxes and walked back into the house.
