"Hey, tiny kitten.
Everything good in there?
I hope you're enjoying the
vacation too even if you can't
see the pretty scenery.
Maybe we can come back with
you one day when you're a little
older. The beach is so beautiful.
Just like your mommy."
Minho smiled when his
husband blushed cutely but
ignored the younger's whining
and placed a little kiss on
the baby bump.
Their small son replied with
a happy kick, making his daddy
smile widely.
"Sungie, he's so cute!"
"He's not even born yet."
"I don't see the problem.
You're the cutest tiny kitten, hm?
I know you are. And I love you so
so much. Are you enjoying
the watermelon?"
Another soft peck was being
pressed right above Jisung's navel
as the blonde munched happily
on a piece of watermelon.
All those fresh fruits were
undoubtedly one of his favorite
parts of the vacation already.
And it eased his mind that the
vitamins were good for their son,
back in Korea it was still winter
and hard to get fresh fruits
for a normal price.
"But I think I need a banana
shake after this, I haven't
had a banana today yet."
"Oh we can't have that, hm?
I'd be very concerned if you wouldn't
have asked for a banana today."
Minho sighed as he laid down
beside his husband on the warm sand,
allowing Jisung to rest his head
on his chest.
"Min?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you.
I know I demand a lot from
you lately, especially food wise.
And I don't even realize it
sometimes so please tell me if
I'm being too much, okay?
These hormones make me a
little blind sometimes...
I'm so glad I have you by
my side, just..
.. Thank you so much."
The blonde curled up against
his husband's side and happily
intertwined their hands when
Minho reached his hand out.
"Sungie. When I married you
I promised to take care of you
all my life long. And now you're
carrying our child which makes
me the happiest man alive.
The least I can do to help you
is fulfilling every wish you have,
be it a banana a day, feet massages
or watching Howl's moving castle
at least once a week. I know how
exhausting all this is for you, not
only in the physical way. I hope
you know that ever since you
told me that you wanted to keep
him, I found a new reason to live.
I'm becoming a dad, Sungie.
All thanks to you."
And Minho only smiled as he
pulled his husband closer when
he felt warm tears drop on the
skin of his chest.
"I love you."
"L-love you too, Min."
"Love, what are you doing?"
"I'm preparing dinner."
"Can I help?"
"Sure, can you set the table
on the veranda? There are candles
in the drawer too, I thought we
could make it a little romantic?
We have the perfect view of the
sunset after all. And as dessert..
Cuddles on the Hollywood swing."
"Sounds perfect, my love.
I'll take these glasses out already?"
Minho pointed at the two glasses
that were already standing on the
counter beside a jug of lemon water.
"Yes please. Are you in the
mood for spicy food?"
"Sure, you'll have to deal with
the baby hiccups later though."
"Huh?"
"Spicy food can cause the
kitten to have hiccups later."
"Well.. I don't mind, he's not big
enough yet that it'd bother me."
"He's our tiny kitten after all."
Minho chuckled softly and placed
a soft peck on his husband's temple
before he carried the glasses outside.
The villa they had booked had a
beautiful garden too, there was a
small path from the veranda to the
pool behind the house and a little
pavilion on a small hill from where
you had a perfect view of the bay.
The veranda was on the side of
the villa where you could watch the
ocean but it was somehow hidden by
the few big trees around the house.
And Jisung loved all the green
nature around them, all those
different bushes, palm trees and of
course the beautiful plumeria trees.
There were different birds hiding
between the big leaves, chirping so
cutely and from time to time
they could even hear some
monkeys scream.
"It's just stir-fried rice with
vegetables and fried chicken
but I hope it's still delicious."
"It'll be, it smells amazing already.
Thank you, my love."
Minho pulled the chair out for
his husband after the blonde had
placed the bowls on the table and
poured some water in their glasses.
"You're good at cooking even
if you always deny it."
"But you're way better than I am."
"Baby, cooking is my hobby.
I find joy in working on a meal
for hours and I love treating you
with all the good foods you love.
And I know you're the opposite,
you hate standing at the stove
for longer than thirty minutes.
There's nothing wrong with that,
I think we both can call ourselves
lucky that I love cooking and
you love eating, hm?
Now let's eat this yummy chicken
my wonderful husband made, okay?"
Jisung smiled cutely when
his husband winked at him
and placed a spoonful of fried
rice on his plate.
"So tomorrow it's been five years,
huh? We're so old, Min."
"Yeah, five years of you having
my last name. I can't believe it,
you were twenty-three when
I married you. And now I'm
already thirty."
"And we're having a baby
on the way.
I'd have never guessed
that five years ago."
The blonde chuckled as he
patted his little baby bump.
"Guess sometimes plans are
meant to get ruined.
But I'm happy now, we're having
a son, Min. Our sweet tiny kitten."
And Jisung would never know
how much this sentence actually
meant to his husband.
