"Daddy eat some" kena asked Oakley but he declined nicely and she started getting mad "...eat.NOW DADDY NOWUHHH" he got quite scared and started making himself a plate real quick eating his chicken Alfredo in front of her.
She nodded her head going back to eat her food while I stand there recording it all.
She looks back at me and Oakley after finishing eating her food "daddy mommy I want to beeee.....a SINGER" caught me by surprise but it didn't because she really looks up to her dad so I knew she would come to this conclusion at some point.
Cee poked stars cheek "why do you want to be a singer pretty girl" she shrugged "maybe because you look so cool rapping on stage daddy I wanna do that..."she smiled wildly.
Me and oak looked at eachother smiling at eachother just happy in the moment. Oakley takes star out of the highchair letting her roam around but all she does is attach herself to her dad instead of me 😭.
I watch the duo of father and daughter run up the stairs and I follow them to her room watching them plug up the new little mermaid karaoke radio that connects to Bluetooth.
They connect it to one of me and her favorite songs right now which is barbie world by Nicki Minaj and ice spice.
Oakley didn't understand what made her like ice spice so much but maybe it's cause I listened to her like 24/7 during my pregnancy not even kidding but.
Yaa.
After she sings barbie world she starts singing bully freestyle by ice spice because that's like her favorite song. We try to refrain her from listening to this particular song because she pushed this kid off rock climbing stations during p.e and he hurt himself pretty bad.
And she told the principal she did what ice spice did in the song "like damn I'm on my bully shit yada yada n shit" so we haven't let her listen till now.
Oak speaks up and asks her if she wants to write her own lyrics and go to the studio with him? And obviously she says yes.
She's jumping up and down with joy grabbing her notebook of her drawing that are mostly me and her dad 💀.
They're quite atrocious but I can't say anything to her she's a kid...

anyways she starts writing the lyrics which I won't expose because uhm yea we don't want her getting clowned...
We look at her writing really fast and she finishes her lyrics in under two minutes. Oakley reads them and he starts smiling practically from ear ta ear. I love how he's always so proud of our daughter it really heals my inner child knowing my child has a father.
Something I never got when i was a kid. I feel blessed for her. For us. I'm just so grateful.
"Do you like it daddy?" She starts jumping up and down all over the room overly excited. "Yes I love it, all we have to do is get your beat and have you record in the studio" she smiled tackling Oakley hugging him.
He hugs back while kissing her forehead. I go over to hug them to since I was just standing in the doorway.
We sit in silence for a while laying down on her carpet floor in her room until we hear snoring in the middle of us. Which not to our surprise was star fast asleep.
Oakley stands up grabbing her and putting her in her bugs life caterpillar bed. And putting the covers over her.
