Of melancholy dreams

Of old forgotten hopes
I guess I'll never make sense
When all my senses forsaken me
I guess I was left behind
To be another cautionary tale
I guess that is all I am
Scrambled thoughts on the wind
I guess my feet are on the ground
And my soul is Icarus free
I guess I am the night
The days come to me
I guess that is all
Never for me to say again
