𝑪𝑯𝑹𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑨𝑵𝑨 𝑾𝑨𝑺 still in a "sour-ass mood" in her words from what happened earlier in the day she couldn't believe she let a liar get into her pants. She knew it was wrong to stay upset about something as dumb as a boy lying about not knowing a spot
truth be told it was also Jealousy in the moment she didn't know how to handle one of her friends flirting with someone she liked so she took it out on Brian
While Chris was still annoyed she made a promise to herself to not let it completely ruin her night. Dom was racing tonight which meant the gang would obviously be there she was also the flag girl for most of these events so wouldn't she show? Christiana stepped out of her car and made her way to the rest of the group who were crowded around Dom's car
"So what's the play you racing or are you guys going to stand around like horny pre-teens," Chris asked raising an eyebrow "$2,000 buy-in winner takes all how does that sound CJ?"Dom responded turning his head to the shorter girl
"It's exactly what I need to see" She smiled "Good here you hold half of the money Hector will hold the rest" Dom explained while handing her a stack of money which she quickly stuffed into her bikini cup
"Why those two?"A boy who Chris guess was racing asked "Cause she won't let anyone get close enough to take the money from her" Dom explained getting a nod in return from Chris "Yeah and Hector's too slow to run away with the money" Edwin a street racer Chris was familiar with joked causing multiple people to laugh
"Ok, you boys ready?" Christiana asked looking at the boys she knew where racing "Wait hold on!" A voice yelled interrupting her thoughts she looked up to see Brian of course he was here Chris thought "Listen I don't have cash but I do have the pink slip to my car" Brian announced lifting his hand to show his pink slip
"You can't just climb into the ring with Ali just because you think you can box" Jesse chimed in walking to stand next to Chris "He knows I can box" Brian joked pointing to Vince. Christiana wouldn't lie it was kind of funny he got a small snort out of the girl who dropped her head. Making Brian smile and look at the Brown girl
"Look it's like this I lose winner takes my car." Brian looked around to see how everyone was feeling about his proclamation "But if I win, I take the cash, And the respect" He finished "Respect?" Chris giggled at the blonde's word
"To some people, it's more important" He explained staring into Chris's brown eyes "Hmm...I think you want validation" The girl objected crossing her arms and tilting her head to the side the two stared at each other for a few seconds they may not have known it but in each other's mind it was just them two there no one else just how it had been for the last few weeks
"That's you car?" Dom asked loudly making the two brake eye contact everyone rushed towards the car brian pulled up in Chris couldn't lie it was a nice car she would've made a few adjusments like different rims and a different shade of green for the car...but it was nice people gushed over the car as Jesse started to list of things he found under the hood of the car
"So what do you say...am I worthy?"Brian asked looking towards Dom "You're not being sworn in as a prince dude"' Christiana laughed finding the fact that Brian chose to word his sentence like that " but You are in Let's go" Dom announced with a laugh
𝑾𝑰𝑻𝑯 𝑨𝑳𝑳 participants ready everyone at the meet up went there ways to gather around a main street to close it down and get ready for the race. Christiana watched from the side of the street as two people sprayed a line on the street for the racers
It was almost time she watched the cars one by one stop behind the spray painted every car did except Brian who stopped right after the line making she watched as everyone told him to back up what did this boy get himself into? Chris thought once Brian finally backed up Chris watched as they mentally and physically prepared their self for the race
Chris had walked closer to the cars stanind in between Edwin and anothers boy's cars before looking over at Leon and Hector to see if they have the green light to start when she got confirmation she was ready "All right boys we ready!" Chris yelled with a smile getting the drivers to rev their enegins as a way to show that they where ready
Christiana grabbed the red cloth that was in her pocket and raising the arm with it in it "Have a good race boys"She smiled before dramatically dropping her arm she turned her body watching each car speed off
She quickly walked back over to her friends standing next to Jesse putting an arm around him "Please pray for that delusional white boy" Chris said referring to Brian and his quest to win "What you don't think he can win?" Mia and Letty asked in sync
"He's going against Dom...The poor boy never stood a chance"
Dom did in fact win the race not that it surprised anyone everyone tried to crowd and congratulate him but got quickly shut down Chris walked up to Dom with Hector not that far behind "Your winnings sir" Chris joked revealing the money she had kept safe which Hector did the same the group continued to celebrate Dom's victory when Christiana saw a group forming somewhere else she walked to see what the people where looking at only to see Brian standing beside his car with a bright smile on his face
"The race ended 2 minutes ago where have you been Justin Timberlake" The Brownskin girl Taunted walking towards the boy. "Did you just call me Justin Timberlake?"Brian laughed tilting his head at the girl "I did got a problem with that?" Christiana smiled mocking him by tilting her head back at him"Does that make you my Brittany Spears?" He asked admiring the girl whose mouth curve into a smile.
Christiana hated to say it or think it but she really wanted to kiss him right now she was so caught up with in the idea of kissing him she forgot about Mia oh yeah...Mia she couldn't do this to her. Chris quickly turned her head and walked away from Brian...Not hearing the soft sigh that escape his lips when she turned away from him
Chris met back up with Dom and Jesse who weren't that far away from her "What are you smiling about?" Dom asked Brian straight faced "Dude I almost had you"Brian replied with the biggest smile on his face making everyone burst into laughter "You Almost had Dom?" Chris chuckled making Brian nod his head at the girl
"You never had me...you never had your car"
The statement made The blonde boy smile drop a little which Chris immediately caught she was definitely staring at Brian the whole time but she wouldn't admit that. "Granny-shifting not double-clutching like you should" The older Torretto claimed Dom continued to make remarks about what Brian did wrong which honestly started to annoy Christiana she understood that Brian's comment was a little dumb to say but she felt like Dom was taking it an extra mile
"Dom Chill out with the gloating" Chris sighed crossing her arms annoyed "Im just saying CJ he thought he had me"Dom laughed pointing to himself making people laugh again "Yeah he's a loser he knows it stop rubbing it in his face" Christiana begged
"Look ask any real race it dosent matter if you win by a inch or a mile winning is winning" Dom announced getting cheers from the crowd he decided to bask in the cheers by putting his arms up the cheers where quickly cut off by Leon
"Oh shit! We got cops!"
The entire crowd quickly dispersed running to cars Christiana quickly took Jesse hand as the two bolted to their car "I'll met you at Dom's" She quickly told the boy before hopping in her car speeding away
Christiana wouldn't know just yet but she would fine herself in a tough position that night
