boys can cry too

Noah's pov:
At school me and Michael would keep our distance. For one exact reason, he couldn't be caught seen hanging out with a low lifer or that would ruin his reputation at school. We'd still talk but if his friends came out of nowhere or even anyone he'd pretend to bully me and I would pretend to be hurt by it. It  was fun acting me and Michael would laugh about it on the way home. Today though Michael said he couldn't walk with me maybe because he was going to hang out with his friends. I walked out of school to hear shouting, I hid behind a bush and watched it was Michael and his step-mother. His step mom yelled rude, offensive words to Mike body shaming him as he cried.
"No! Boys do not cry!" She yelled slapping Mike on the face.
"Do not come home unless your father says you can." And she stormed off. Little bitch.
Mike glanced around and spotted me, his quickly wiped his tears and I could see a red mark appear on his cheek. Is he okay? I waited till his step mom was no longer to be seen and ran over to Mike giving him a hug.
"Boys can cry too, go on cry I don't judge." I whispered as he hugged me and cried again.
